I'm also guessing this guy didn't plan to face plant on the ground. I'm also guessing their state of intoxication makes them a poor judge of the possible danger--as well as their spatial relationships. With that said, comparing the MMA, or any sport to this seems to be a stretch. This isn't a professional, or even amateur, sport. There are no rules, governing bodies or substantial rewards for completing the task. It's simply drunken morons doing stupid drunk things. But until they start hurting others, and not just themselves, I have no serious objection.

I could easily counter "people associate the hashtag with fundraising and the passion of being a Bills fan". The truth is, NEITHER of us know what percentage of people think about certain aspects of the hashtag, without some quality research. Everything we think we think is just speculation. If you get your perception from this forum, that might explain your takeaway. If you get your perception from dealing with the public in general, in a non-Bills centric atmosphere, you may come away with a different understanding. And i throw up in my mouth a bit everytime I type "hashtag".

I can't speak to how the BillsMafia hashtag is viewed, since I have seen no credible data. But anecdotally, almost all of the negativity seems to be here and/or among Bills fans. Most everyone who I encounter down here who is savvy to it, always comment positively about Bills Mafia.

I have the DTV app, but it seems rather worthless--at least tonight. It only seems to find local (to me) bars, no matter what I search for. I'll be flying out of Logan on Sunday November 3rd at about 4:30 pm. Horrible planning by me, I know. Probably made the reservation when I was sober---never a good idea. Anyway, I think my best option is to get to the airport before the game starts, and watch it there so I don't inconvenience my Bills fan friends, and don't miss a huge portion of the game. As the Pats* don't play until Sunday night, I guess there's a chance the Bills will be on TV locally, so I won't have to fret. But just in case, does anyone know if there is a NFL Ticket bar at Logan? I've looked at changing my flight (and still might), but the cost seems a bit prohibitive seeing as I scheduled this flight to save a few bucks. Anyway, thanks in advance.

A better argument for keeping Bojo is---well, who else better is available? If there is one, by all means sign him (or her). The reason he remains on the team is the lack of reliable punters on the current market.

My cigar taste/tolerance seems to change all the time. I really like a very strong Nicaraguan cigar (like a Padron 1926). But then out of the blue, it just destroys me. I can't explain it. My taste for cigars comes and goes. I was smoking 4 or so a week. Then I barely could tolerate 1. I'm back in a decent groove, but probably only have 1 or 2 per week. This cycle goes on and on for years. Too bad because I'm very good friends with the local tobacconist. I help him out a lot (watch his shop for an hour or two here and there, pay his bills on the computer, so he doesn't have to write checks, etc), so he doesn't charge me (or gives me rock bottom prices) for what I smoke.

Me too. Almost all of them had been cigarette smokers. I've been a cigar smoker for over 40 years, but I dont inhale. Still I get seriously dizzy after smoking one on some occasions. If you ever watched the Burns and Allen show, or seen George in other shows, it doesn't seem as though he is inhaling. But I don't know for sure.

Rumors have it they have already passed up a 1st round offer for him. I imagine at some point they will get sick of not getting ANYTHING for him, so will put him on the market. But I can't see him going for simply one 1st round pick. Singletary probably could have played today. He'll be in the lineup after the break.

It probably won't, if/when Washington decides to consider trading him. But what I'm saying is, when they do decide, there will be many teams vying for him. So what do you think the Bills can get him for, seeing as he is not currently on the market?

I agree. I just think you are completely misreading the situation and his availability. If/when he becomes available at a reasonable price plenty of teams will be interested. I'd love for the Bills to get him if possible.

The reason I ask is, I looked at the replay 1 or 2 plays after Morse went out. I could swear 71 was at center. I had to go double check who 71 was on the roster. So i think Bates played a few plays at Center. Looking for someone who actually saw that or has the complete game data (do they even list positions?)

I haven't found this being discussed. It isn't important and I don't expect this thread to me more than a few posts, if that many. But when Morse went out, I could have sworn Bates came in at center, then moved over after Ford was injured. Anyone else notice that? Every article I've read says Feliciano played center after Morse exited the game. So, did the Bills use three different centers today?

We do blast Bojo for his inconsistency, but he was money today.
