in this country there is a principle of innocence until proven guilty…do you understand this? just because someone says something does not mean it’s true. There have bern many many examples of false accusations you are blindly accusing him when you know nothing. have you ever been accused of something you did not do? -

to add… she does the rape kit after this but it goes nowhere probably because of a lack of dna. She didn’t know the guys. nfl drsft occurs. San Diego mentions on the news of local college pkayers drsfted. She sees him in an interview on local news she recognizes him from the party and knows he was one she talked to so she says he was involved…she has littlrpe memory of the incident. She remembered him befire she got drunk. -

Police would have to obtain a warrant to record only if that is allowed under California law without others consent. The police can not just record a phone call without your consent or warrant. Doing so knowingly violates the law which could affect the police careers involved. It’s the same as if police planted evidence on you like slipping drugs in your pocket then claiming the found it on you. Obtaining evidence illegally is in inadmissible in court including other evidence found directly from that illegal act. -

it’s actually quite common for young women to claim rape when sex occurs for various other reasons. Sometimes itwas rape, it could have bern regrettable sex or she might have bern impaired somehow and don’t remember. Some come out after where she thought relationship and it was a one night stand. To him. the police doing phone calls is illegal on many levels without consent or warrant. If they did this they should be fired. if he knew about the sex and maybe knew who did it and found out this person has an std would be a wa6 fir him to say to get checked. She might be accusing him because he was a person she remembers or now knows because he got drsfted in the nfl so $$$ reappears in her eyes. if she did a rape kit at a hospital right after the incident the police are informed about this. -

It smells of (1) no case for criminal charges on rape/ sex assault (2) even sued in civil court and found guilty he can file bankruptcy and it doesn't get paid. He said/ sghe said cases are weak. As a juror I would never convict of all the evidence was she said so given she was drunk and facial recognition is very weak. that leaves only the PR route to get a settlement. They release a recording obtained illegally to try and get a pay out. -

False any recordings where both parties did not agree can not be used…even after being released like this. -

Califirnia is a two party consent state so the calls recorded can’t be used as evidence that should apply in civil cases too -

Except the tv story seems to imply otherwise. this particular DA might have gotten assigned to the case today. i don’t buy this was not known by the office. This surfaced into the news over a month ago at least. A few months ago thr police got evidence so DAs are usually involved early on in these things. -

i don’t know California law but there are exceptions such as meeting the person in a bar drinking alcohol you can assume they are 21. -

big question I have….if they have DNA,they should have tested people accused by now. And they should have been charges by now. it’s always innocent until proven guilty. she mentioned his name because she probably already knew him at the party. That does not mean he is the one who did it. by the way, he’s now in the NFL so lawyer is willing to sue because he does have money. See if they can settle for a payday. -

I’d rather break a leg….. -
i think it’s the opposite. they want to wait and see ispf no CBS get hurt in next game. if everyone is healthy..he goes on PUP. If one gets hurt then he’s on the roster and might be back for week 3. if they have other players injured they could use his spot , put him on PUP, then carry player to in season then IR.

Why do teams need to declare inactive players for a game?
djp14150 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same reason the nfl issues injury reports…. -
all you need is one Cousy in the market to carry the games to claim the market or have radio broadcaster there. With the Sabres if one county in Corning- Elmira cable system pick up MSG-Buffalo broadcasts to then black out the market.
-
it depends on how your spectrum feed is set up. Eries is considered local so it woukd have gotten blacked out in that market. If spectrum is anywhere in the Erie tv market and shares the same system, you will get blacked out. years ago during nhl playoffs I was living in Norfolk, Virginia area. Versus/ nbc sports network blacked out the devils- canes game locally. They said fox sports Carolina claims the market who has local rights. The problem was no fox sports Carolina in my area but it aired on cable in the local TV market defined area. So having one county it aired in killed thr market. The tv market included the northern outer banks area of North Carolina ehich local cable aired fox sports Carolina
