Other factors in his play are things like… 1. if you feel you have to do a big play to try and prove yourself you can try to hard snd not do well. if you know going in you won’t get benched because of a fumble or unsuccessful run snd you can play the full game you relax snd likely perform better becsuse you don’t have to constantly watch over your back. yiu see this in other sports like hockey rookies/ young players being called up or make opening roster or September call ups in baseball where the coaches say relax we will let you play the next 7-20 games and we understand mistakes might be made.

Other factors in this are running styles. I have not analyzed him to say it’s so…. a good example of this was Herschel Walker in a big trade from cow oup YS to Vikings. He was an utter bust in minnesota, what Dallas got help them go on the 1990s Super Bowl run. Reason was Walker was one running style thst minnesota running system in play design was the opposite style needed. Minnesota style relied on backs thst coukd shift and get to gaps while Walker relied solely on sn open gap to run without having to shift or cut . this trade and a few others proved the point of system fit is necessary in nfl talent where just because player is great on one team makes him great for all.

His prediction is valid as anyone else on this board… don’t see jets being that good. jets non common are Atlanta , houston snd Cleveland. bills are jags, bengals, and tb. I am not sold on the jets just because of Aaron. He’s not that big of a difference maker. I think jags can win division but not that good of a record. Last year they were what a 500 team. Thst might get to a 10-7 record. kc in their division will get knocked down a few pegs and possibly be just a WC. div winner—- bills, Bengals, Jags, chiefs/ chargers. WC chiefs/ chargers then the last 2 spots will be a battle with many teams ..many of these teams will be bunched up around 6-6 and thrn some emerge. for NFC— cowboys, lions, wide open, 49ers WC Seahawks, the eagles nd bears in a battle with many others around 9-8.

Will boogie basham be the next Wyatt Teller for Beane?
djp14150 replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
nes a 7 th round on a top team in thr league with a lot of depth already. Usually 6 th, 7 th rounders aren’t going to make the team to start. Thry are usually designated for PS id like the league to adopt a protected prospect development of those drafted 5th or later or undrafted wherr thry can go on PS for 1 yr without having to clear waivers. But it means they are 100% PS for the season.thry can’t get plucked by other teams. Limit of 4. These are for 2 years or less prospects with exceptions for full season injury loses. -

really…next Wyatt teller? big difference. Teller was trade out of his rookie camp not 2 yrs in. bills traded him because of him possibly getting cut due to depth and injuries. -
That doesn’t sound like a meniscus tear. I had one and had surgery. My left knee was unstable and hurt. Had to use a cane. It sounds like a torn meniscus. Had a tear on my left d had surgery in oct 2019. My knee was unstable and would give out. Had to use a cane. Thr dr finished the year and took about 30% out.

I agree…he resigns to PS when he can nes a vet he can’t get claimed nor forced to sign elsewhere
-
false…… most of a teams roster turns over significantly over a 4 year period even with stable coaching/GM.. your core players you drafted, you keep long term ( QB, WR, OT, OL, DL, LB, CB) with other places you use free agency and drafting to fill in holes. from drafting/ prospect development from PS you are looking about 35-40 players while the rest of the roster of 20 or so players you drafted or signed to multi- year contracts as free sgents.

I don’t care about win/ lose. I’m curious to see some of the new/ young players and see how they do.
