  1. Boobie Dixon? I think he might get overpowered at RT
  2. Gilmore is getting toasted but he's still going to get a ring. Watkins will never get enough targets until he goes to a pass first type team. He would be wise to take less money and go to a team that throws it 40-50 times a game otherwise he's going to pout about it and be a locker room cancer
  3. not a McBeane guy...move along now
  4. John Murphy Show is almost completely unlistenable at this point. Donald Jones has a coherent thought about 10% of the time and Murph is way too much of a propaganda machine for the Bills. He always has been but it's getting more blatant and he's going so far as to rip on callers that disagree with the team's direction. Having said that, anyone with a pulse and a set of eyes knows Tyrod isnt very good. Without an amazing defense and league leading running game, he is nothing. How about we have those things PLUS a good QB?
  5. His fame-whoring girlfriend. All of this started when he started dating her. The Ravens were ready to sign him and then the girlfriend tweeted out some racist stuff about the ownership and Ray Lewis and killed the deal. At this point I'm convinced they would rather he not be playing so it can fit their agenda and make him a martyr for the cause
  6. They shouldn't be making any long term plans with this OL. They will be looking for a new offensive coordinator and line coach very soon at this rate
  7. What a difference having a QB makes. The Texans are a legit team now and BOB just saved his job
  8. like what we saw with RG3, Bridgewater was good because there was the threat he would run. now that he has a bum knee he won't be mobile and as a pure pocket passer he is sub-par. so no thanks. :Edit: Guess I was wrong, I was confused by his Madden ratings where he's one of the best running QB's in the game. He's just a sub par pocket QB in real life
  9. very true but I think he is one of those rare talents where teams will trade away their entire draft to move up. even if he is mocked to go at 15 i think a team would trade away everything to get him top 5
  10. it's probably because Tyrod is black...oh wait
  11. I think it's almost a guarantee that he is staying in school at this point Guys do it. Matt Leinart, Jake Locker, Andrew Luck. Last year it was Josh Allen. Coaches talk them into staying 1 more year and fine tuning their craft and enjoy life as a college kid. I'd say Darnold is probably 90% staying and Rosen is probably 50/50.
  12. I think Mora will get an ultimatum from UCLA, keep Rosen and try and turn things around or lose your job. Mora has said Rosen is staying in school so he must feel confident about that:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/jim-mora-firmly-believes-josh-rosen-will-not-declare-for-the-nfl-draft-this-year/amp/ If Rosen wants to leave I think Mora can talk him into staying 1 more year. Rosen might feel obligated to Mora. He grew up down the street from him
  13. I think Rosen and Darnold are staying in school. They can use 1 more year to develop. That would really shake things up if true because they would be 1 and 2 in the draft if they came out.
  14. Jameis Winston isn't a mobile QB. If you are a mobile QB then you are, doesn't matter what color your skin is. What a load of crap
  15. I see signs each step along the journey that shows that he handles situations poorly. Very similar to what we saw from Johnny Football a few years back. I think in the professional ranks you want someone who is a professional and handles themselves the right way. The McBeane's have shown a propensity to go for the high character guys so I don't think this is someone they would want to stake their reputation on at such an important position
  16. if they had that policy the league would have to fold because everyone would be done. or the flip side would be nobody would report their symptoms. they need to figure out the helmet situation or this league is in trouble
  17. From the Baker Mayfield thread: "Baker Mayfield is a complete and total a-hole. He was a walk on at Texas Tech and had a good freshman year but then demanded he be given the starting job over Mahomes without competing and earning it. Coach said no so he just left without telling anyone and enrolled at Oklahoma without even telling Stoops or asking if he could have an opportunity to walk on. Oklahoma is in the same conference and Texas Tech still held his rights so they blocked the transfer and Mayfield wasn't able to play in 2015 as a result. He won the job in 2016 and obviously had a great year, 4th in Heisman voting. Then he got arrested for public intoxication and trying to run from the cops. There's a pretty funny video of 3 cops tackling him. Somehow he wasn't suspended for that incident. He also keeps a "hit list" on his phone for anyone that has ever said anything bad about him that he says he uses for motivation. Biggest knock on him besides being an a-hole is that he's only about 5'11ish. He's probably a 4th round or later guy." That was my analysis before this season. Add to that the in-game a-hole antics like trash talking players and fans, planting the flag at ohio state, talking crap online. Lots of stories about him partying a lot. He's a jerk in the same mold as Johnny Manziel. i wouldn't want him being the leader of my football team.
  18. he will never play for this football team if the McBeane's are serious about the process and the type of men they want
  19. The answer to everything in this thread is no
  20. haha I saw a funny thing on Twitter that said Boldin saw what the Bills had on offense and decided that achieving World Peace would be easier
  21. Clay was open on the bottom one. If you're even you're leavin' and in that clip he has at least 2-3 steps on the defender so that is pretty open. The top one he throws to an area and that is a good throw. For some reason he likes that waggle throw back play, he hit O'Leary on the same play. When you can put it in the window with the sideline as your friend knowing that only your guy can get to it then that is the right play. I would like to see consistent throws like that from him where he throws to an area knowing that only his guy can make the play. Even if it falls incomplete at least you know it was the right read and the right spot and if the receiver wasn't there then that's on them. If Tyrod doesn't see the receiver there waiting then he doesn't throw it and unfortunately it doesn't work like that
  22. Thanks. Tyrod literally won't throw the ball unless the receiver is wide open so any great stats you think he has is because he's only throwing to wide open receivers, otherwise he's scrambling. That kind of backyard play doesn't work at the NFL level consistently. You might get a few defensive breakdowns that result in big plays but it's not consistent and when it's time to lead the team down the field you can't do it because you are not a consistent QB. Anyhow, back on topic. Eli is a much much much much better QB and I still believe he has a couple of good years left in him. But he might decide to retire before he uproots his family and tries to give it another shot elsewhere, unless it was the perfect situation like it was for his brother in Denver. Dennison is putting him in the shotgun more but it's actually a big misconception that when you are in the shotgun you don't need proper footwork and that's not true. Consistency and timing is all based on proper footwork and when the windows to the receivers are so tight in the NFL, as shown in that article, you need to deliver the ball on time. any openings and the DB is going to recover FAST and that window closes quickly. Timing is the key to consistent QB play
  23. the Giants offense is worse than Buffalo's. Buffalo has 2 pro-bowl caliber OL and a pro-bowl caliber RB. both offenses are bad but for different reasons. our QB doesn't know when receivers are open and can't run the west coast offense. it's 1-2-3 throw and not 1-2-3...4-5..scramble...throw. with a QB that can pull the trigger and keep defenses honest we would be much better off. as long as we have Tyrod, we are going to have 8 in the box and our only hope is that he can scramble for some yards or scramble long enough that someone gets wide open so he will finally throw the ball. read this: https://mattwaldmanrsp.com/2017/09/26/the-nfl-lens-separation/ I hope Cover 1 does a film breakdown of Tyrod one of these days, or maybe they already have. There are receivers open but he literally will not throw the ball until someone is wide open and that doesn't happen in the NFL. that's the mindset of a high school or college QB but he never leared to throw with anticipation. https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/917889139852398592
  24. WOW you guys want to compare ELI MANNING to Tyrod? yikes. Eli is a former #1 pick, franchise QB, future hall of famer, multiple Super Bowl winner. Tyrod can't even do a 3-step drop, something they teach you in pop warner. he literally needs to SEE the receiver open before he throws and can't throw the receiver open, something you learn in high school. he can scramble around and maybe have 1 or 2 big plays a game but can't consistently lead a 2 min offense. you guys must be joking here
