  1. Are there any credible rumors for Bills that I should be watching for? Or is it baseless speculation for fun at this point?
  2. Either way, I don't actually understand what you are arguing. You think defense doesn't matter I guess, but are quoting just now 4 games in which we would not have won if our offense was better but our defense was worse while ignoring the games we won because of our defense (I see Baltimore game is suspiciously absent)
  3. 2020 - Defense allowed 10 points through 3 quarters against the colts, and yes almost lost to a Rivers comeback rally, but they didnt. Defense allowed 3 points to the Ravens (including an infamous pick 6 in our own endzone) Defense allowed 38 to the chiefs and had no answers, thats on them. 2021 - Dismantled the Patriots and allowed 10 points through 3 quarters. Sure, we would've won that game anyway the way the offense performed. Proceeded to lose against the chiefs 13 seconds and yes, this is on the defense not being good enough. Your answer though is that a worse defense, but better offense would have won that? 🤔 2022 - Defense dominated the Dolphins offense (yes with a backup QB), but the box score doesn't show the extent of the domination. This is a case where a better offense may have prevented points scored against our defense. You cant have INTs and fumbles at our own 25, 25, and 30 and not expect the opposing offense to score. Not to mention the 5 punts with 2 net yards, 29 net yards, -2 net yards, -3 net yards, 32 net yards. Thats 11.6 yards avg per punt. The coverage team was terrible. Anyone blaming the defense for this game has a ***** memory or didn't watch. Defense and Offense folded against the Bengals. I don't see how a better offense, but a worse defense solves that problem. It seems to me that our defense allowed us to go deeper into the playoffs each of the last 3 years, so yeah it matters.
  4. Why do we do those screens to Diggs anyway? Isn't the focus going to be on him with extra coverage?
  5. Check the edit. Same point. 3 passes (granted I think McCaffrey was out at this point). 49ers vs Browns 17-16 3:21 left. 1st & 10 at SF 25 (3:21 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Purdy pass incomplete short right [J.Owusu-Koramoah]. PENALTY on SF-B.Purdy, Intentional Grounding, 11 yards, enforced at SF 25. 2nd & 21 at SF 14 (3:15 - 4th) B.Purdy pass short left to B.Aiyuk pushed ob at SF 24 for 10 yards (M.Emerson). 3rd & 11 at SF 24 (3:07 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Purdy pass incomplete short right [O.Okoronkwo]. 4th & 11 at SF 24 (3:05 - 4th) M.Wishnowsky punts 60 yards to CLV 16, Center-T.Pepper. J.Darden to CLV 26 for 10 yards (S.Jean-Charles).
  6. Score 27-20 49ers vs Rams 4th Quarter You have Christian McCaffrey and you throw 3 straight passes (edit 2 passes and 1 run but not with McCaffrey) and punt. Pretty sure you guys would be knocking our staff for that. 1st & 10 at SF 32 (7:13 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Purdy pass short right to D.Samuel to SF 32 for 7 yards (J.Fuller; C.Rozeboom). FUMBLES (J.Fuller), ball out of bounds at SF 33. 2nd & 3 at SF 32 (6:27 - 4th) (Shotgun) D.Samuel left end to SF 33 for 1 yard (M.Hoecht; J.Fuller). 3rd & 2 at SF 33 (5:42 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Purdy pass incomplete short middle to D.Samuel [B.Young]. 4th & 2 at SF 33 (5:29 - 4th) M.Wishnowsky punts 67 yards to end zone, Center-T.Pepper, Touchback.
  7. I gave a bunch of examples of what are considered top teams struggling to close games against inferior opponents. No one is calling for Shanahan, Reid, or Sirianni's heads or want to blow up their org. I get it, we haven't won the big one yet (only Reid has out of that group and us) and its ok to critique but you have to admit the number of threads that want to tear it all down is straight absurd.
  8. If we ever won a Super Bowl, I don't think this board would continue without a daily "we haven't won a 2nd super bowl tear it all down" thread every week 😂
  9. All they do is see the highlights of opposing teams and win/loss, they don't see all the nitty gritty stuff like the Chiefs leading the Broncos by one possession all the way until 1:55 in the 4th quarter. Or the Eagles going tit for tat with the Commanders and into OT. Or the 49ers being up 27-17 in the 4th and letting the Rams hang around 27-20 until 1:49 left in the 4th.
  10. Why does Vegas care if they cover? Also, if you really believe Vegas only wins if a particular side of a bet wins (not remotely true), then do you really think all the money was going to Bills -9.5 after the NE and NY games? I'd think its more likely people were taking the points and the Bucs.
  11. I remember thinking the Pats were using magnets in the ball to push it. Some type of force took that ball. I guess ill call it the wind in gilette.🤔.
  12. Careful, next they'll tell you "its bc Daboll has Jones and not Allen. But Dorsey's offense is only at all decent bc of Allen" I have zero doubt we would be talking about firing Daboll if he had stuck around. In fact I know for sure because for some reason no one remembers the 6-9 loss to the Jaguars, 41-15 loss to the colts, 3 point half against the bucs, and someone flat game against Atlanta in 2021 in which people wanted Daboll gone. Not to mention the Titans and Chiefs losses and 6 field goal game against the Jets in 2020. No one was saying FIRE DABOLL! No not at all 😂 The grass is always greener with what we don't have with this fanbase.
  13. No, he is saying that Diggs is eluding to that fact that Josh is great at alluding defenders but not great at eluding to the next play call.
  14. All-22 is not a great tool here. There are many shots down the line that aren't high and above, skewing perspective.
  15. You don't have to question "what's wrong" after every loss. You win some you lose some.
  16. If the scenario were reversed, you'd create a thread or at least make a post saying "the bills should've played better and not let it come down to a ref no call". Also you would've lambasted McDermott for calling a throw on the 1 yard line when you have Saquon Barkley.
  17. 1st td was something they havent done before I think.
  18. Bills Coach Sean McDermott said during his news conference after a 14-9 win that “things are heading in a good direction right now for Damien,” based on the initial reports the team received. “It’s my understanding he has full movement right now as well,” McDermott said.
  19. 1st TD tonight was Dorsey's play.
  20. You want Daboll to come back who hasn't scored a TD in 4 games and is 1-5 in his 2nd year?
  21. Honestly think Daboll just knew what he left here at Buffalo and while Dorsey calls his own game, that knowledge proved invaluable to the Giants in preparing to stop the Bills offense.
  22. If he would have done as you say, (I was shouting not to do this) and the Giants won, you'd be saying he's an idiot for not giving Josh freaking Allen a shot to put the game away. Or someone else would. Thousand different opinions and ways to critique, but in the end a win is a win. Just like the Chiefs near loss to the Texans last year. Just like the Dolphins near loss to the Pats this year.
  23. Seems you guys can't even agree. One says we ran too little when it was working while the other says we ran too much bc we have Josh Allen. Yet both are proposing firing our offensive coordinator. Compare notes and come back please. 😂
  24. That was like the next play with adrenaline pumping. Morris throw was like an hour later.
  25. How is it out of context, you are literally saying Sean Payton would do better than McDermott with this Bills team. Better than what McDermott is doing, is practically Super Bowl if not AFC Championship. How is that not "the answer"? Also creative offensive mind? Its not like they are scoring loads of points and their defense is the issue. Its both. The guy made the playoffs 60% of the time when he had Drew Brees at QB. I have not seen anything out of the Denver offense this year that makes me think "damn, if Josh Allen had that, we'd be so good on offense". At this point both HC's that a lot of the McDermott haters have been pushing for have been bombing out. 1-5 Sean Payton. 1-4 Brian Daboll. Sure, blame it on the teams if you want though. Coaches you like get to blame the team for their failures. Coaches you don't like get blamed for minimal losses, and no credit for winning.
