  1. Wouldnt they just run the same offense? Does Joe Brady really have a backup offense to scheme up and run on the fly in week 11 of the season?
  2. Because he goes off the rails at appropriate times. I know the media likes to portray him as a diva, but he went off the rails 1. AFC Conference Championship game 2. 13 seconds loss. 3. Bengals loss. All appropriate times to go crazy trying to rally people during the game, and flying off the handle that we dropped the game afterwards. I wish we had more "divas" like Diggs. Edit: And no, I didn't forget the stupid non-story from a random 3 day minicamp in which he misses the first day, attends the 2nd, and the team cancels the 3rd because it is such a damn important minicamp.
  3. No, but last night was 100000% on the players not executing, so id like to know what broke the camel's back here? Why wasn't he fired after the bengals game?
  4. I'll never understand that. Half the time its an INT if they just turn around! So worried about getting beat they get PI anyway so just turn around!
  5. Thats because he knew he scored too early. This isnt the fire is gone, it was "I left waaaay too much time on the clock" and he was right.
  6. Dorsey gets fired bc: 1: Cook cant hold onto the ball 2: Davis cant hold onto the ball. 3: Josh throws into double coverage 4: Josh drops a handoff on the ground 5: Def (which was stellar) commits PI at end of game 6: Def (which was stellar) has 12 men on the field. Sounds like players arent executing to me.
  7. In 2020 the Bills offense scored 27 or more points 63% of the time. What was wrong with Daboll?!? In 2019 the Bills offense scored 27 or more points 17% of the time. What was wrong with Daboll?!? Such a silly arbitrary line to draw.
  8. Oh wait I also forgot McDermott had a season of Tyrod Taylor. In the same stretch with Tyrod Taylor playing all 9 games (benched him in the 9th), McDermott went 5-4. Seems better than 2-7. Cherry on top, McDermott backed into the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor that year.
  9. You think Daboll didn't think Jones was good and never had any discussion with Schoen about extending him? Come on.
  10. The consensus top 4 teams in the league (Eagles, 49ers, Chiefs, Ravens) Eagles - 4-1 of last 5. Lost to the Zach Wilson led Jets. Beat the Commanders and Cowboys by one possession. 49ers - 2-3 of last 5. Lost to the PJ Walker led Cleveland Browns. Lost to the Vikings, and Bengals. 3 straight losses. Chiefs - 4-1 of last 5. Lost to Denver. Beat Miami and Minnesota by one possession. Ravens - 4-1 of last 5. Lost to Pittsburgh. Beat Titans and Cardinals by one possession. We need to squeak out the close games with wins, but every good team does not blow out every team weekly.
  11. Daboll and Schoen certainly think so. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/daniel-jones-contract-details-nfl-highest-paid-players-2023/e051fae37bbf14d8bd9ca6fd Jones signed a four-year, $160 million contract with the Giants during the 2023 NFL offseason. The contract came with $92 million in guarantees, per Spotrac.com, and made him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL.
  12. 40-0 with Daniel Jones against cowboys 28-7 until late in the 3rd quarter against the Cardinals (lucky the cardinals collapsed) 30-12 with Daniel Jones against the 49ers 24-3 with Daniel Jones against the Seahawks 31-13 with Daniel Jones (late 3rd quarter exit) against Miami Daboll is getting dominated at every level. And you guys want it here 😂
  13. Literally saw it twice today on other games where it didnt work out.... Its like the fans dont watch the struggles of other teams and think this is just uniquely buffalo. Kansas City with Patrick Mahomes scored 0 points in 32 minutes today. 0 points in the 2nd half against Miami's defense. 2nd half: Punt Fumble Punt Punt End of game
  14. We control our own destiny for a playoff spot (as do the Dolphins). We don't need help.
  15. The guy has his giants team at 2-7 and is putting up pathetic performances. What are Bills fans obsession with Daboll?
  16. "- The Dolphins can lose 4 more games, we can only lose 3." We control our own destiny still for the Division as does the Dolphins "- We have to win vs the Jets and Pats who we’ve already lost to" Yeah bc we didn't go through this same nonsense last year when we started 1-2 in the division and ended 4-2. "- The Chargers is one of our “easy” games, but it’s a west coast road trip. A lot of times whoever travels loses those." Ok but thats why we play the games. None of the games are easy. I mean as a fan you do you, but it seems like you are just looking at the negatives. I know, I know, "realist" 🙄
  17. Seems to me that you could do the same with the dolphins. Dont be such a downer. Dolphins Raiders - W Jets - L Commanders - W Titans - W Jets - W Cowboys - L Ravens - L Bills - L
  18. Last play of the game, holding norman at the edge that allowed Mixon to get the 1st down. 10/10 times thats called on the bills but i guess the official staring at him thought he was just grabbing and fixing his shoulder pad. What a nice guy.
  19. I thought the same for a second but at 2-6 they aren't contending this year, and Johnson is free agent next year.
  20. "but it just doesn't pass the eye test man, I was watching X teams highlights and man they are so good comparably!"
  21. Are there any credible rumors for Bills that I should be watching for? Or is it baseless speculation for fun at this point?
  22. Either way, I don't actually understand what you are arguing. You think defense doesn't matter I guess, but are quoting just now 4 games in which we would not have won if our offense was better but our defense was worse while ignoring the games we won because of our defense (I see Baltimore game is suspiciously absent)
  23. 2020 - Defense allowed 10 points through 3 quarters against the colts, and yes almost lost to a Rivers comeback rally, but they didnt. Defense allowed 3 points to the Ravens (including an infamous pick 6 in our own endzone) Defense allowed 38 to the chiefs and had no answers, thats on them. 2021 - Dismantled the Patriots and allowed 10 points through 3 quarters. Sure, we would've won that game anyway the way the offense performed. Proceeded to lose against the chiefs 13 seconds and yes, this is on the defense not being good enough. Your answer though is that a worse defense, but better offense would have won that? 🤔 2022 - Defense dominated the Dolphins offense (yes with a backup QB), but the box score doesn't show the extent of the domination. This is a case where a better offense may have prevented points scored against our defense. You cant have INTs and fumbles at our own 25, 25, and 30 and not expect the opposing offense to score. Not to mention the 5 punts with 2 net yards, 29 net yards, -2 net yards, -3 net yards, 32 net yards. Thats 11.6 yards avg per punt. The coverage team was terrible. Anyone blaming the defense for this game has a ***** memory or didn't watch. Defense and Offense folded against the Bengals. I don't see how a better offense, but a worse defense solves that problem. It seems to me that our defense allowed us to go deeper into the playoffs each of the last 3 years, so yeah it matters.
