  1. I don't think he is struggling on the deep ball. To struggle means you can normally do something but currently are having problems. Fitz has never been able to throw the deep ball. 4 of 15 on 20 yards or more? An NFL QB should be able to do better then that with his non-throwing arm-20 yards, really?
  2. You can't totally judge a QBs play by just wins and losses. Yesterday was a great example, as Fitz played more then poor enough to lose, in fact he was terrible but the Bills won. With that said, and even though Fitz is a bottom 5 QB in the NFL, with what we have on the bench, he still gives us the best chance to win. Gailey has committed to Fitz, and that along with this horrendous play calling will ultimately cost him his job, so dont' expect a change without an injury.
  3. I agree, it was his best game as a Bill by a country mile, but they were playing the two tackles who have given up the most sacks in the NFL by a large margin.
  4. I have been wishing for blue pants for decades. Have always hated the all white unis, they just seemed to clean and dainty to me. Love Em!
  5. Even if they had won, it certainly wouldn't have been because of Rob Johnson, he was 10 of 22 with 131 yards. If they would have won it would have been because of the defense. What is funny is the Bills this past sunday in SF, gave up one and a half times the yards to the 49ers as there were total yards by both teams in that game (413 total yards). The Bills defense gave up a one yard McNair TD run and a couple field goals. They still win if Flutie starts, if not for just the fact that he wouldn't have taken that safety or all of the other 6 sacks that Surfer Boy took that day. Someone else on here said it already, but like or hate Flutie, if you are a Bills fan and have half a brain, you can thank him for the Bills still being in Buffalo. When he came in against Jacksonville and scored the game winning TD on that naked bootleg, it got a pulse going in this franchise that was almost non-existent at that time.
  6. And you are an NFL receiver? Your point is ridiculous? How many of these penalties does Reggie Wayne, Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green, Wes Welker or even a young ego like Percy Harvin-none that is how many. Who says the #1 receiver has to be a prima donna? Do you want me to keep naming names of people who are 10X better then Stevie and don't get these penalties or feel the need for so much attention? Jerry Rice, Andre Reed, Cris Carter, etc. Point made. Quit making excuses for him. I like Stevie, but the chemistry has nothing to do with him not getting to write some assinine saying on a T-Shirt or mock Plaxico Burress in the endzone. I am a Bills fan too, as much as anyone, but I am not going to make statements that make me look under educated just to show support.
  7. That is a lame ass excuse for his non-production because Gailey won't let him get misconduct penalties. Trying a little too hard for excuses for the lack of chemistry between him and Fitz. A real #1`receiver can get those numbers and not put his team at a disadvantage by getting moronic penalties just to get personal attention.
  8. He actually has been on the field some, but you just didn't notice because Gilmore and Williams have been burned more then wood in a fireplace
  9. The Bills fans should be in the top tier. After what this organization has put this fanbase through for the past 15 years, and there is still more then 100 fans in the stands each sunday should automatically put them near the top.
  10. I agree, not quite as old as a WW II vet, but I did finish 20 years in the Navy about 10 years ago, and I got several tattoos my first 4 years in (early 1980's), and at the time the only ones who had them for the most part were Sailors and prisoners. Now they are as commn as earrings.
  11. That is all we need with Stevie, along with an invisible defense and terrible quarterbacking, we will give add some misconduct penalties to the mix. Good one.
  12. One thing I was scratching my head over last weekend was the last 5 minutes or so of the game. Jackson was still in a game, recovering from a knee injury, the Bills were so far out of it it wasn't funny. Why didn't Chan put Choice in then to avoid the risk of Fred getting hurt again? As far as Choice speaking up, it probably shouldn't have to be a #3 at any position, but since none of the high paid starters has a ounce of leadership, someone had to do it, so kudos to him. This team has shown no heart that past couple weeks, good to know at least one player gives a crap.
  13. Not sure I agree. For about 70% of the organizations existence, they have been well below mediocrity.
  14. Now you see why Seattle and Minnesota were so willing to get rid of him. Vince Young 2.0? No excuse for not knowing enough of the offense after a month and a half to be able to be active?
  15. Only two? That is more then this franchise has won since before Jim Kelly retired. One of those wins was the first visiting team to win in Lambeau in about 100 years too. Vick isn't what he was, but still much better of an all around QB then Fitz, and that is just a fact not just talking bad about Fitz, because I really like the guy he just isn't very good.
  16. Vick may have lost a half a step or so, but your crazy if you don't think he would be an upgrade on Fitz. He can throw better with his non-throwing arm then Fitz can with his throwing arm.
  17. I have been right up there in bashing Ralph as an owner, but on the 50 year anniversary DVD, Chuck Knox says that Ralph offered him a contract, he just thought he had done everything he could here and pretty much wanted to go back to the left coast. Now whether he was just saying nice things so he didn't send Ralph over the edge, or to make sure he didn't bet edited out of the DVD is a whole different issue?
  18. That is one thing that gets me about Fitz, and shows that mental intelligence and football intelligence are two completely different things. Nobody will argue that there may not be a smarter player in the NFL then Fitz, but he still leads the league (or close to it) in stupid decisions? With this front office, I wouldn't throw the "Guaranteed" word around too much, they are apt to draft another cornerback.
  19. And the last two weeks don't help I am sure. You have to realize alot of people have internet muscles on here, don't let it get you frizzled. Those are the same people that would put their head between their legs and run like a scared girl in person.
  20. Oh Gee, do I have your permission?
  21. Never said or thought you were hating, just my honest opinion and no sarcasm included-for a change.
  22. Now that you mention it? Oh nevermind, they have sucked since Chris Mohr left too.
  23. Kelsay has produced more out there over the past few seasons then Anderson or Mario have in their 5 games here. He has to, how else will they give up 600 yards of offense and 40-50 points on the board without a waste of space?
  24. The only point I disagree with you on is Dalton. The Bills didn't need to trade up to get him, they could have taken him with their second round pick, just like the Bengals did right afterwards. He wasn't just drafted that high because Carson Palmer was holding out, every so called expert said during the whole buildup to the draft that he was the most NFL-Ready QB in the draft, and he has shown it. Dalton also fits what you said about no pick after a Bills pick is starting at QB? That post is your opinion, and that is all it is. I would guess at least a good 75% of the GMs in the league would take Sanchez, Ponder, Gabbert, etc. over Fitz and they would be correct in doing so.
  25. I don't think anyone is blaming it all on the QB, the defense was legendarily putrid, I mean like in the record books, putrid. But with that said, if the defense came out and played the best game of the year they still would have lost-we scored 3 points! Not making excuses for the defense, if the offense came out and looked like the old K-Gun we still lose, but you can't pin it all on the defense anymore then you can pin it all on the QB/offense.
