  1. Some old coots who need jobs that no other franchise is interested in like Gailey and Nix. You are correct about the Cards, but sadly for us, they still have 2 or 3 QBs that are better then anyone we have.
  2. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So you left the room when Fitz had the ball in his tiny little hands?
  3. Belicheat-"That's how you do it son" Gailey-"Hope the wife hasn't spent all the savings"
  4. I think the answer to this starts with who will be the Bills head coach next year? If the answer is Chan Gailey, then the answer to your questions is Noodle Arm Fitzpatrick. If we have a new head coach, we have a new QB, but eventually Fitz will pull Gailey's sinking ship all the way down.
  5. I agree, it was obvious the game was totally different after that play. I screamed this over and over last season, and it happened again yesterday. Why in the F**K would Gailey put Spiller in to run up the gut anyway? He is too small, dances too much, and just plain isn't a power runner, and no negativity towards Spiller, he just isn't. You have Jackson, Choice, McIntyre, etc. all of which would be a better choice to pound it up the gut, but he insists on sending Spiller in to do it? I just don't get some of his decisions, and there are too many like that, which have kept me from believing he is the coach that is going to turn this mess around.
  6. Maybe we could hide some saltlick in the quarterbacks shoulder pads and Mario could find him. Or maybe he needs to hunt quarterbacks from a tree stand?
  7. Or if they had a field goal kicker.
  8. Did you watch the game? The defense gave us one of the scores recovering Gronks fumble at the 10 and should have given another with Welkers fumble almost that close to the goal line. 6 turnovers, it doesn't matter what your defense is, get real.
  9. i don't think it is a GM's job to motivate players, that would be the coaching staff.
  10. Dude, relax. If was a little humor, which most of us Bills fans need on a morning after yesterday's debacle.
  11. Outside of New England, and I don't think they are as good as they have been in recent years, this division pretty much sucks. New England might be the first team to clinch a division by Halloween? Youa re rigtht though, the Bills have been owned in the Division for years. They are 2-12 in the division under Chan Gailey, and one of those wins was just because Dan Carpenter missed 4 field goals, while the other because Brady threw 4 picks. In those 14 games, the Bills have 42 turnovers, you can't win like that. This team needs a few more turnovers-the coaching staff and QB position to name just two.
  12. i don't think he was "always" a beast in Houston, hasn't had double digit sacks since 2008. With that said, is it just the curse of the Bills? i won't however blame all of yesterdays disaster on him though, no way. More yards were gained right up the middle running the ball with Kyle Williams and Dareus pretty much being cardboard figures being pushed out of the way. This team is just bad, and spending all that money on one player, even if he lived up to the contract isn't going to turn a putrid defense into a Super Bowl defense. It doesn't appear that Wannstedt's defensive schemes have been worth what he is getting paid either. The Patriots couldn't have gotten more yards rushing yesterday if the defense overslept and missed the game completely. Just a sorry excuse for a football team, up and down the roster, offense, defense, special teams. Who will they cut this week? Lindell? He was as bad as Moorman has been (sarcasm intended), especially if DeHaven doesn't like him either. You really think Ralph would let him cut a player that about $50 million is guaranteed to? But then again, Ralph might not even remember they signed him.
  13. I don't care about stats, if he isn't one of the 5 worst QBs in the NFL I am President of the United States(OK, I know I could do better then what we have). He has to the be most inconsistent in the league by a large margin. I have never seen a QB throw a really good pass then follow it up with two passes so bad that you wonder how he even got a helmet and uniform. Not blaming yesterdays disaster all on Fitz, but it wouldn't have mattered if we had the Steel Curtain defense from the 1970's Steelers, we still lose. With that, if we had the 90's Bills offense we still lose with the way the defense played also. For someone so intelligent, he makes so many bad decisions and alot of times when he makes a good decision he doesn't have the arm to back up his good decision. We never will win anything with Fitz, a great guy, with the heart of a lion, but the arm of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.
  14. I am guessing he hasn't even realized the season started yet, much less realized how pathetic they were yesterday.
  15. is there a coach that has had the success he has had for a decade that didn't have a HOF caliber QB or at least close? Maybe a year or two here and there with less of a QB, but any of the so called dynasties have had HOF QBs. Bradshaw, Staubach, Aikman, Elway, Starr, etc.
  16. Maybe they are keeping the blitzing to a minimum because as bad as the DB's have been covering receivers, they dont' want to take away any of their help? That as well as the DL has been getting some good pressure on the QB by themselves. Doesn't seem like they are going to take too many risks with the Defense this year, at least it hasn't so far. That is nothing, the Pats have to prepare for Brad Smith! (sarcasm intended).
  17. I think he wants to be a coach and they won't hire him, so this is his chance to prove he can motivate them from afar.
  18. What did he say that the Bills have been a bad organization? How dare he tell the truth! Just doing his job. Some people get bothered by the littlest things. Did he talk about the Buffalo weather too, what a SOB. Actually I believe he wanted to stay but the Bills were going to go with someone, yep-Cheaper! You are right, in fact I think I saw him in the food stamp line when i drove by the other day.
  19. Exactly, you took the words right out of my mouth. MLB's don't usually lead the league in interceptions or sacks, they are supposed to be tackling machines, and Poz was and is, just like London Fletcher. Shows you how some people spout out about things yet dont' have a clue what they are talking about.
  20. What is your issue with him? He was a decent player, not great, but had a decent career. Been in football forever. Demands respect, something alot of recent BIlls coaches haven't. Has forgotten more football then you and I together will ever know, and even though he has been in it forever he still has enthusiasm and a love for the game. How did he get a job? How did Greg Williams get the job in Buffalo-they said because he was organized and passed over Marvin Lewis because of that along with a few other more qualifed coaches.
  21. i don't think he will play if he isn't ready, and if he does it will probably be in a limited role and they will be watching him closely. Chan feels the pressure to win this year or else, but luckily for the player's health, the team doctors have the final say.
  22. And do what? Bring back "We're Talking Proud!" an the "Whammy Wheenie"!
  23. Not gonna find a Poz hater here. In my opinion, there has never been a more classy player to wear a buffalo on the side of his helmet, nor a harder worker. That failed attempt at a defensive scheme that the Bills didn't have the personnel to run forced him out of town, but he would have been an animal on this defense. A tackling machine ala, London Fletcher. It is guys like Poz that you have to route for even after they leave Buffalo.
  24. As it is in the Hall of Fame also.
  25. I am hoping both C.J. and Freddie play, but my well nutrioned gut is betting that neither play, or if they do, very sparingly.
