Of your whole list, the one that I really blame the FO for not getting is Andy Dalton. The whole world, and at least a couple other planets know we need a quarterback, with the exception of a few Fitz Kool Aid drinkers. I am not sure Aaron Williams is going to turn into being worth where he was drafted. Brees was only pursued by the Saints and Dolphins because he was coming off a serious shoulder injury. The McFumble pick still puzzles me and not just because he has turned out to be a disaster since he was drafted, it was a shocking surprise when he was picked. At this point, I don't think I would give up more then a 4th or 5th round pick for Carson Palmer, he hasn't been the same since the Steelers rolled into this knee in the playoffs years ago. The other ones are just throwing names out there to help make the FO look bad, and for God's sake they don't need any help in that area. Like I said, next to not picking Ngata when the whole world thought we were going to, the McFumble pick in the biggest draft day surprise over the past 15 years for the Bills and it only gets worse as each game goes by. That might just narrow down the biggest reason for this teams lack of success for what seems like forever. When us out of shape, beer drinking, burger eating, fake jersey wearing die hard fans can see something and the so called "Pros" that get paid big bucks to see these things can't see them, success is nothing but a pipe dream.

We just lost a WR, so the Bills sign a RB???
BuffBill replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty obvious move, either that or put Fred Jackson on the IR, but you can't have just two backs. -
Rodney Harrison: Mario Will Never Win In Buffalo
BuffBill replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is an obvious point, if winning was a bigger concern then money he would have went elsewhere, or more then likely stayed right in Houston. -

Harrison is a cheap shot idiot, but can you argue with his opinion at this point? Probably not. -

Heck, they brought in Merriman, why throw away the millions that Ralph finally spent already. Bring him in, can it really hurt at this point? The season is on the verge of floating down the toilet after one game, at least try to salvage it for a proven guy, with post season experience who will come at basically the minium salary. -

So what you are saying is there might have been more money spent then in awhile but the results are still the same. Very accurate actually. -
And he accomplished more in his first couple seasons before he mentally crapped to bed then Fitz will during his whole career.

Mario, Anderson, and Fitz should be arrested.

I cut and pasted this from another article on the guys that got new contracts in the last 12 months: Here's what the Buffalo Bills got for their nearly quarter-billion dollars of off-season spending, in their odoriferous 48-28 smackdown at the fists of the New York Jets on Sunday. Three ugly interceptions from Ryan Fitzpatrick, and many other bad throws. Three short, insignificant catches from Stevie Johnson before garbage time. Fifteen yards from running back Fred Jackson before he left early with a banged-up knee. And most disappointing -- and surprising -- of all? Zero sacks, and zero impact whatsoever, from the Bills' new supposed pass-rush demons, $100-million man Mario Williams and $19.5-million man Mark Anderson. The Bills awarded the above five players a combined $224 million in off-season contracts, $104 million of it guaranteed. They were all big-money busts in Game 1, Jackson's left-knee injury notwithstanding. Pity the poor Bills fan -

Same crap. Does CJ play receiver too, because we only have one of those on the whole roster who is NFL Caliber and his groin could end up being the same nagging problem it was last year. Sounds like they are already making excuses for another season down the drain. -

For some teams maybe, Chandler might be the first one we have had since Metzelaars that can be counted on. And now he can run her things during the game without TBD getting all shaken up about it. -
I think we have only won one game with Spiller starting or playing a significant amount of the game? Not disputing he had a great game, but don't really think he was won all that many games for us, if any? The only game we have won in what seems like forever was against Denver last year and Tebow and our defense won that game.

How does someone who the biggest praise anyone gives him is his intelligence forget to step into his throws? Isn't that like a genius dog forgetting to lift his leg? -

I am still scratching my head as to why they brought back Ruvell Martin instead of Roosevelt or someone else with a clue. -

That seemed quite obvious when they ignored that position, in fact the entire offense during the off season. Once Vincent Jackson signed with Tampa they did nothing. I guess if there is a bright spot it is early enough where he should be full go for camp next year. How many weeks until the draft? -

Adam Shefter is reporting Nelson tore his ACL and is done for the year. This hurts, we already have less quality depth at that position then probably any other team in the league and I have said for awhile I thought Nelson was the most clutch receiver we have. What do they do now? Just fill in his spot with Graham and keep losing? -
The last time the Bills made the playoffs you were....

You expect me to remember what I was doing that long ago? -
I would rather they went after Peyton Manning but there is no way on earth he is coming to this losing franchise, so they took the just a tad bit better odds and went for Williams and surprisingly, for some reason (or 100,000,000 reasons) he actually signed here.

[please fix subject]A point everyone is forgetting.

Tape, Schmape-No video tape or lack there of can be blamed for Fitz being a terrible quarterback and singlehandedly giving the game to the Jets before it even got started for crying out loud. -
What do you expect when the Head Coach is a journeyman that nobody else wanted for the past decade plus.

Are we being Punked? I think I can win Mr. Universe too if I lose this beer belly. You are wrong there, take away the 21 points that Fitz handed them on a silver platter and we might still be in overtime right now. -
Let the Matt Barkley countdown begin!!
BuffBill replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they finish 0-16 they wont take him, they will take a offensive guard, defensive back or trade the pick for Kevin Kolb or someone like that. -
Jackson suffers LCL injury,nothing conclusive...
BuffBill replied to bills44's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure Spiller is the better back, I think they are both better when they are both playing, since they are different types of backs. My biggest problem with Spiller is everytime he touches the ball it seems like he is going to fumble it, he holds it like a loaf of bread. -
I believe the first kickoff he had was returned. As far as the rushing numbers, and not taking anything away from Spiller, when a team has a 3-4 touchdown lead, it is alot easier to get rushing yards, since they are playing to prevent the deep pass. That onsides kick might have been the weakest attempt at one I have ever seen in 40+ years of watching football, it went right to Tebow like that was his intention. I was thinking that, but as soon as Lindell goes out for a kickoff now with Potter on the roster they opponent knows an onside kick is coming.

What FA WR do we sign now with the injuries...
BuffBill replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heck, if there is one available he is better than anything we have on our active roster with the exception of Johnson. The Bills have been bad for years and years, but I think it is safe to say that most of us realized yesterday wasn't their best? You are correct, and look at the winning record of the folks at One Bills Drive-they always make the correct decisions. If a team like the Bills is going to bring a veteran in at any position, they would prefer to wait until week one was in the books anyway. After that the player is basically being employed week to week, whereas if they are on the roster for week one, the team is on the hook for the entire seasons salary.
