Our crappy team has beat his the past few years, what does that tell you? You really want him here? Or is it because of the success he had in Cleveland that makes you want him?

Steve Mariucci sees bright future for Fitzpatrick in Buffalo
BuffBill replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With Fitz it isn't just about numbers, when it gets to crunch time, he chokes almost every time-twice in the past 3 weeks. Also, as far as a rookie, yea maybe the first year he won't put up those numbers, Peyton Manning sure didn't, but they are only a rookie for the first year. You don't draft a QB high in the draft to QB your team for one year. -
Steve Mariucci sees bright future for Fitzpatrick in Buffalo
BuffBill replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he is trying to stir up interest for ratings on a game that most of the country doesn't give a crap about. Two losing teams on a thursday night, what a ratings grabber for them? -
Player changes at One Bills Drive
BuffBill replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They signed two guys who make you say that if either of them have to play, the Bills are serously in trouble? Why sign them. What happened to Routt, they wanted him just a few months ago? Just a piss poor excuse. No more decimated by injury then any other team in the NFL, and surely not as many injuries as in the past few years. Good teams have plans for injuries, the Bills never do. Dont' forget Levitre is a FA after this season with Byrd. Cant blame a good player if they want to leave this mess of an organization. Byrd will get big bucks elsewhere, he is one of the leagues best ballhawks and will only get better. -
Ralph is mad that the Bills are losing

Not sure it has much to do with the quality of football, but the press conferences are kinda like watching Beverly Hillbillies. -
The Bills are a laughing stock
BuffBill replied to first_and_ten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can't criticize a writer when he uses facts, and those are facts. The Pats and Brady have owned the Bills, to an extent that in almost unprecedented and probably won't end anytime soon. This franchise is a joke and has been for over a decade. The fact that the Bills have gone longer then any other team in the NFL without appearing in the Post Season is no coincidence. We sure did, once every 10 years whether we want to or not! -
I agree, I am not sure Spiller can be a 20-30 touches a game back and stay healthy. We know he isn't that big, and has already shown he is injury prone to some extent. He is best used in certain situations when he can get his speed outside or in gaps in the defense, because once he gets his speed going he is as dangerous as any back in the game. At the same time, he has proven he cannot be the goal line back and run it up the gut, he doesn't have the push and as we saw against New England, he can fumble when someone twice his size smacks him. I would rather see him run the ball 15 times and catch it 5 times and stay fresh and quick, then I would want to see him worn out by the 4th quarter and the 10th game of the season.

You might be right or you might be wrong, but running back is by far and away not one of the many reasons this team sucks. There are so, so many other problems with this team, that you could have them both in there on each others's shoulders or blindfolded and the biggest problems would still exist. Kinda like a car that won't start and you are wondering which tires to use, it doesn't matter if the car doesn't run. This team has way bigger problems at every other part of the offense 1. the QB sucks 2. the receivers have been ineffective-see problem #1 for part of the reason for that too.

Jauron vs Gailey, Who's better, not even close!
BuffBill replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isn't comparing the two kinda like comparing two turds and asking which one stinks worse? They both were bad, but Jauron had a better record, and I would say Gailey has had better talent, so I have to go DJ-painfully. A new HC can be lured anytime, there are only 32 positions in the league, but a top notch HC won't be lured to a organization with a 94 year old owner, who when he passes the team could be sold to the highest bidder, and a team with no quarterback. Are you serious or just in the middle of an all night binge? The only thing that matters in PROFESSIONAL football is winning, and although DJ didn't do it much, he did it much more then Gailey did with superior talent. -
Ralph is mad that the Bills are losing

Ralph just called Chan Gailey, wanted to know why O.J.isn't getting the ball much lately? -
Which is the worst organization in the NFL?
BuffBill replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL is all about winning. Which organization has gone the longest without appearing in a Playoff Game? There is your answer. -
Bills vs. Redskins. Similar teams with similar problems.
BuffBill replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have said for awhile that they are similar teams. Two of the worst owners in football. Great fanbases. The big difference though, like you said, they have the most important piece it appears to build and that is QB. Our's will never be a franchise QB, you can't make a guy that just by paying him like that. Neither team has drafted very well, although they have hit on a couple good defenders, who both happen to be out for the year with injuries. Another difference is, if Daniel Snyder wants a top name head coach there, he can get him, none will come to Buffalo. Not sure about in history, but the down side of our running game, at least in Jackson's case, he will be gone by the time this team ever becomes a winner, if it ever does. -
Ralph is mad that the Bills are losing
BuffBill replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't believe Ralph was getting slow in his old age, but I was wrong. It took him what 12+years to get mad because the Bills were losing? -
I hope anyone gets healthy or even stays healthy, but to put it bluntly-Aaron Williams has sucked, and he won't be missed on the field one bit. McFumble is way below average at CB, but he is still an upgrade over Williams-another wasted high draft pick.

This **** is absolutely mind numbing
BuffBill replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I kinda agree, our coaching doesn't seem like they are capable of handling the opponents adjustments. The Bills can somewhat hang with teams in the first half, but once the opponents coaches make adjustments, we are done. I am big of the opinion that we will never win with Fitz, and yesterday he wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible. The coaching and gameplan sucked. This staff gets out coached almost every sunday. Fitz had his usual turnover in a crucial point of the game, but for a change we didn't lose because of Fitz. This team has sucked for over a decade, and finally my optimism and any hope for this team are running out, to the point where I don't even get that upset anymore when they blow games or series-I am so f****king used to it. What a POS organization. -
I totally agree. Spiller has looked real good as of the past 12-15 games, but since the trade of Lynch and drafting Spiller, Lynch has still been the much better back. They could have kept him and used that high pick elsewhere, on a team with so many holes it just seemed like common sense?

I have to think that being a GM in the NFL they are the same thing?

Big Ben hopes 2004 QB draft class seen as best ever
BuffBill replied to kenny3000's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That class already has twice as many Lombardi Trophys as the 1983 class has. Ken Stabler wasn't a multiple Super Bowl winning QB, although he should be in the HOF already. Plunkett was a multiple Super Bowl winning QB for the Raiders. -
Why is it that Fitz gets all blame?
BuffBill replied to UticaBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you can't trust your starting quarterback, anytime of the game, much less when the game is on the line, then he shouldn't be your starting quarterback. Pretty simple, this is the NFL not little league or high school. -
Next years hype to the fan base??????????????????????
BuffBill replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you 100% sure Nix is safe after the way the Mario signing has gone so far? His drafts in 3 years have produced how many superstars=0. Some with potential, some improving (Spiller) but none are at that level yet. -

You need to put your pint sized man crush aside and face reality? -
He either needs a piss test or needs to be place in a room with padded walls. When has that happened?

Todd Marinovich. Watching Landry Jones the past few years, wouldn't get me too excited.
