Ralph could spend $1 million dollars a week for the rest of his life and still have more money left then most of us could even imagine having. If spending money on one player wrecked his finances, and he thought he could turn this mess around with one player, and you know it didn't get spent without his authority, he deserves to go broke. Find it hard to believe he has finance problems in a sport with a salary cap.

Wrap them up and give them to someone you don't like as a Christmas gift. No don't do that, second thought, I wouldn't wish that on my eniemies. Better yet, everyone sit on the Jets side and wear green jackets/shirts.

Young QBs leading teams to the Playoffs
BuffBill replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Nix's plan on finding a franchise QB is to let another team spend the draft pick on the QB, then when he bombs there we either get him for a 4th or 5th round pick or off of waivers. Someone needs to make Nix aware, that if the QB were any good, he probably would still be on the team that drafted him. -
He didn't convince all of us "Die Hards" that it could be done totally through the draft. I have always said, a successful team needs to draft well (we draft terrible), sign some free agents (not necessarily the big money ones, but key pieces) and retain certain players and let other go. Nix and his gang have done just about all of these to a level that is gut wrenchingly bad. It wouldn't be Buffalo Bills football without one 3 year plan after another. Turning over coaches every 3 years has become the norm at One Bills Drive, just like losing has.

Who isn't playing at 100%
BuffBill replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am guessing he was referring to who is give a 100% of an effort not at 100% of their health. Outside of punter and kickers and 3rd string QBs, not many are at 100% of health this late in the season, even on "real" teams. -
Who isn't playing at 100%

The worst part of this whole topic? Alot of them are playing at 100% and still suck at the NFL level. Buddy Nix has done a bang up job assembling this roster? -
Agree with most of your list, although some don't need to be cut, just not resigned as their contract is up after the last disaster against the Jets. I would probably keep Sheppard, Justin Rodgers and Dickerson off of your list though. Would probably keep Barnett until you know he has been replaced (Mantei T'eo-in my dreams). Might also cut the ties with Aaron Williams, but they won't if Nix is still around, he doesn't like to admit his mistakes.

I really don't agree with you, although he might be just a tad less succesful, Fitz has been putrid. It seems like Fitz has no awareness of the pass rush, as he fumbles at least once just about every game. How many times has there been an open receiver downfield that and Fitz's pass wasn't even in the same zip code? Wilson can make those throws. Fitz has at least one pass, normally many more then that, batted down every single game-that doesn't happen to Wilson. Fitz almost always throws a terrible pass for an interception when the game in on the line, Wilson throws very few picks. I have heard from quite a few so called experts, that the only reason Wilson wasn't a top 10 pick was because of his height, and Drew Brees has shown that isn't all that important. As far as Andy Dalton-who needs him, we got Aaron Williams right ahead of him? Barf. -

10 months ago people were saying "Nobody would ever give up a draft pick for Tarvaris Jackson" -
That is about all you will get from him too, don't expect a decent team inside that stadium for the next 7 years.

Chan is a great coach...if he gets a great QB
BuffBill replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tom Coughlin was on the hot seat in New York last year and listening to the NYC Sports Radio he was thought by many to be canned before the season ended. Eli Manning got hot as heck, and now Coughlin can coach there as long as he wants to. Bill Belicheck was a much less then successful head coach until Tom Brady started playing, now he is going to Canton when he is done and is considered by many to be the best coach in the NFL. Chan Gailey would probably lose with Tom Brady at QB, because he would try to get to fancy and pull Brady out for some unsuccessful Wildcat play. Brian Billick was talking about the Wildcat on ESPN radio a day or so ago, and his quote was "If you try running the Wildcat offense it is because your quarterback isn't very good." -

I know alot of Bills fans, and probably don't like the serious because it gives away the Home Field Advantage. The Bills are the only team in the NFL that annually only have homefield advantage 7 times during the season. The organization is bad enough, but to start with a disadvantage is all this team needs. Spend the night at his house drunk and see if he keeps wanting to make you a sandwich! -

So am I, Tebow would be an upgrade to Brad Smith's roster spot-I am positive about that. I don't agree that you make that trade only if you intend on starting Tebow at QB. I do believe though that if you make that trade or waiver signing, you do it with a plan to use him, unlike the Jets who pretty much gave him a uniform and a front row seat to watch the games. -

It is a joke, but so is Rex Ryan. The truth behind this, I think, is they are afraid that Tebow would come in and win their last two games, and all they would hear from their fanbase all off season was "Tebow, Tebow!" -

And Brad Smith has completed 100% of his passes as a member of the Bills, too bad they were all to the opponents players. -

And Brady got Bradied by the Bills last year also, so he sucks too I guess? That loss to the Bills was ugly, but it was also about his only loss in 8 or 9 weeks. He won two seasons worth of wins for the Bills in 2 thirds of a season for Denver last year. -

I agree, sadly though, his career is probably going to go down as one of the many with a load of talent and "what could have been" but couldn't ever stay healthy. So true. It will only last so long that they keep dishing out good money, but the product in return continually sucks. Eventually they will quit buying tickets, as witnessed by the empty seats this season, despite the fact that they drastically cut the price of the tickets. The Bills are basically like a Prostitute who comes to town once a year for the money but doesn't put out anything near worth of the money she is getting paid. Eventually, her "customers" will look elsewhere for their thrills. -
Better yet, when the receivers see ahead of time that Fitz can't get the ball to them, they can save their energy and not bother to run 60 yards downfield.

You know, how many times this year have we had the ball at the one yard line on first or second down and running Spiller or even Jackson up the middle either fails or they fumble? Quite a few. Put Tebow on this team in those situations and those stops and fumbles turn into touchdowns at least 75% of the time. -

Pretty much what I said, no argument from me. I would like to see Tebow in Buffalo. Maybe not as the starter, but he sure as heck could be much more productive then he has been in New Jersey, and more productive then Brad Smith has been here. All Brad Smith has done is return a couple kicks, and we have more then enough able bodied kick returners. -

I agree, but once Ralph and his cronies get a ear of this, he is gone when his contract is up. Complain about something that puts cash in Ralphies wallet and you aren't long for his band of losers. He is correct though, the only thing it benefits is Ralph. The Bills fans in WNY don't like it, most Canadiens don't like it, especially with the Bills being the joke of the NFL. I am sure opponents don't care for it, other then they have as many fans as the Bills do, if not more, at a Bills "Home Game." The Bills have only won once up there in the whole series.
