Not worth thinking about until they name a coach and an offensive coordinator and find out what type of offense they run. I agree with the thought that he can't be an every down back, and should be on the sideline when it is whatever down and short and a run up the gut is called for. They need to get him in space and he can be the best back in the league. If he is used as a normal every down back like a Steven Jackson or Ray Rice he will either get hurt or run out of gas.

Why Brandon will get the best coach here.

Spiller turned out to be a good pick, although you can't argue it was a luxury pick that bad teams shouldn't make. The jury is out on Gilmore, he had good moments and bad moments, Carrington has blocked kicks but what else? Dareus' play took a big drop in 2012 and it can't all be because of what happened to his brother, because it wasn't great before that. Bradham has emerged over 4 or 5 games, hope but no guarantee. What about Troup? Easley? Ed Wang (remember him and the jokes?)? Danny Batten? LEVI BROWN? Kyle Calloway? John Potter what a great move that was? Tank Carder? Jasper? Chris and Johnny White? I can go on and on, but you can pick any GM in league history that over 3 years didn't fall into at least one good pick. Aaron Williams has been a disaster. T.J. Graham has hands of stone-not to mention he failed to get a QB on the roster that cold use Graham's speed. Where is Zebrie Sanders? Where is Marshawn Lynch? Oh that is right he is in Seattle with over 1500 yards and double digits headed to the playoffs, while we got a backup offensive lineman for him? Enough said. -
Bills opening ranked 4th best opportunity

4th of 5 openings? Who the heck is worse? Is there a team in Siberia? -
Per CBSSports, Bills coaching candidate names emerging...

Actually I did, and if he didn't get hurt against they Bills they probably would have won without going to overtime. He played good that game, much better then Fitz. -

Probably so, this team has had an infatuation with coaches with links to the Steelers for awhile. Guess they don't get that bringing in one coach isn't going to result in what an entire classy organization can accomplish. -

I was kinda thinking the same thing? That team, especially the offense was just as bad as ours was, so what is the attraction to them? They had maybe the best receiver in the NFL (or close to it) and couldn't get him the ball with at least one QB (Kolb) who is better then Fitz. Just don't understand it? -

I have to be honest, I don't have alot of faith in this organization anymore. Years and years of believing and years and years of being made a fool of have taken it's toll. The fact that they kept Buddy Nix around to screw up a 4th draft, kinda dampers any hope that changes in the organization may have had. -
Think he would do best to just be a position coach, would probably do really well there. He coudn't even keep a job as a coordinator just months before the Bills hired him as HC. It would however be nice to see him be Bill Belichecks successor, let him sink that ship. Yea, he seems like a good guy, but alot of the so called pros who said he often got too hung up on gadgets and trick plays were spot on. I think so many people calling him an offensive genius when he got here went to his head.

That was supposed to be this year? -
They did that once to the Jaguars after Rob Johnson played one game for Mark Brunell, that didn't go so well if I recall correctly.

They can sure shovel it at One Bills Drive

Think they are in the upper level fighting on sundays. -

So an article about shoveling snow from the Ralph turns into an argument about whether it is the offense or the defense that has costs the Bills season to go down the drain? No need to argue, it is like arguing which pile of crap stinks more, they both suck, I wouldn't defend either. Although for the sake of the argument, we will win with Mario on the team light years quicker then with Fitz on the team, any blind 90 year old in a coma could see that. -

I say just leave the snow there, and let these two terrible teams just have a snowball fight and go home. Hardly nobody is going to see it anyway, and maybe they will let Tebow play some. Gotta be something these teams can do half-way decent, besides getting hit with a snowball from Fitz sure the heck isn't going to hurt at all. -
So original?

Not saying I would want Vick, but if him and Fitz were the only two options left, give Vick a blue jersey. He still can throw the long ball better with him arm in a cast then Fitz ever could.

Roster better now than it was 3 yrs ago?
BuffBill replied to Maddog69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I seriously doubt you will see Chan employed anywhere in the NFL for a long time, if ever again once the Bills wise up and send him packing. He didn't make it through the preseason as OC in Kansas City a few years ago before he was fired. -
Sports Illustrated coaching change article
BuffBill replied to Superman12975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People really need to stop making excuses for Fitz, he is not a starting NFL caliber quarterback. Nelson played in all 16 games last year, as did Stevie Johnson, and he led the NFL in interceptions. If Fitz stays, this team continues to play poorly at best for at least 80% of the season next year. -
Fitz/Gailey are the worse than Jauron/Lossman
BuffBill replied to JimKelly4President's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure if you are old enough to remember, but that would be kinda like the majority of the teams that O.J. was on with the exception of about two seasons.
