  1. Based on 5 different areas of play (Accuracy, Arm Strength, Decision Making, Mechanics and Mobility), Fitz came out at #43 out of 65 quarterbacks. Could be worse, the Cardinals had #'s 64 & 65 and the Jets had #63 (Sanchez) and #62 (Tebow). Clear to see why most people with common sense feel the QB position is an urgency for the Bills. Would post the link but one of the Administrators don't like Bleacher Report, although the article is written by one of the NFL Draft's lead writers and is pretty thorough.
  2. My thought exactly, he can't be any worse then Fitz!
  3. I agree. Have never seen a QB whose stats are so insignificant when it comes to telling the real story of how good a QB is. He has to be the worst I have ever seen when the game in on the line in the last half of the 4th quarter. They talk about getting a big game receiver, to go with Graham's speed and Johnsons fine routes, by why, when the QB can't get the ball to them anyway?
  4. He is rated as the top FA Guard by most, but has also stated that he is going to shop for the best deal. If the Bills decide to dish out top dollar they may be able to keep him. Can you really blame him if a contender wants to give him big bucks? My guess is he is gone.
  5. Hoping they bring in a true #1, Stevie is more suited to be a #2 in the slot.
  6. I have never seen a defense that can make a quarterback's arm stronger, more accurate or have more touch? We need a defense like that! WOW?
  7. Yep. Good to see there are people on here that have common sense and don't look at everything with a "Every Thing The Bills Do is Correct" biased attitude. It is quite obvious, makes you wonder where some of these people learned their football at?
  8. I agree, he had a bad first half, as did the entire S.F. roster. Jealous fans period.
  9. You hit the nail right on the head, 1,000,000,000,000,000% correct!
  10. For one, do the receiver's really matter when Fitz can't get it downfield to them anyway? Put Fitz behind the Eagles O-Line last year and he probably doesn't make it through the season. If Fitz a better person then Vick is? Well, I can't argue with you on that one there, but when has that won football games? Vick had a bad 2012, no doubt, but he had more comebacks and clutch plays the first month of the season then Fitz has in his whole tenure in Buffalo.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised that because of his injuries which limited his production, he won't get signed until there is an injury in training camp. It is a pretty good crop of free agent receivers as well as a deep draft at that position.
  12. Not saying I want Vick, but not sure why people stretch the truth just to try to make a point or get people to agree with their opinion? A 6 game stretch won't get you a Division Championship, a Pro Bowl selection and Comeback Player of the Year. He has never thrown more picks then TD's, never led the league in interceptions like our mighty might has and has more rushing yards in his sleep then Fitz does in a career. Is he what he used to be? Not close, but what he is, is still more then what Fitz will ever be. His biggest problem this past year was fumbles, way too many of them, but Fitz had his share also. Vick had 11 fumbles and lost 5 of them, Fitz had 8 fumbles and lost 6 of them. A big part of Vick's problems were his terrible offensive line (85 sacks the past 3 years-just think if he wasn't mobile), Fitz had a much better line in front of him, that isn't even arguable.
  13. Aren't us long time Bills fans suffering enough? There can't be any worse news imaginable then keeping FItz around. I am not sure about other Bills fans, but I am in dire need of a winning team and it isn't going to happen with Noodle Arm around. People can throw out stats, and stats don't mean crap. Just watch him play. If the game is on the line, you can bet your paycheck he will choke.
  14. I kinda agree. I don't want VIck, but anyone with at least one functioning eye, even with all his injuries, turnovers and off the field stuff, can see he is still much better then Fitz, and twice the threat throwing and running. Would prefer the third option if there is one, but of the two I would have to take Vick.
  15. I think it is apples and oranges when you talk about Levitre and Byrd. If they only talked to one free agent at a time, they would never get anything done. As far as Jones, I don't think on a "contending" team he is anything but a #4 receiver at best, and he can't play special teams because he gets hurt to easy. Good guy, but not concerned that he is gone. If the rumor that they are trying to restructure Fitz's deal is true, does it really matter who is at WR?
  16. I agree, that he is a smart dude, so he knows if he don't restructure he is most likely gone, and no other team is gonna give him what the Bills will on a restructured deal. I agree, I would be much happier if they just dumped him and moved on and tried to start winning. Keeping him around another year is just delaying this organization from moving ahead offensively for another year. I guess the Bills have to choose between winning and money?
  17. I agree whole heartedly. Compare his two seasons away from Buffalo with this five seasons in Buffalo. Looks like he got the final laugh. He has been a part of about as many wins in two seasons in San Francisco as he was in 5 seasons in Buffalo combined.
  18. I doubt it, but even if you can that still places him in the bottom third of the starting QBs in the league, not gonna win with that.
  19. Free Agency period is well before the draft. If the Bills wait until after the draft they will both be gone. They have two of their best players without a contract, yet they are trying to find ways to keep of one their worst players? That is why ths franchise has been so successful over the past decade. Wow?
  20. There is training that might help him catch the several passes a year that hit his hands and he drops either because he is expecting a hit, or just being Stevie Johnson. Most of the great receivers, Jerry Rice would spend hours in the off season with the throwing maching throwing hundreds of footballs a day at them. Playing basketball isn't going to help that at all.
  21. Patriots and 49ers, last two season in the Conference Championship game, one Super Bowl a piece. The Bills, well they are the Bills. This type of work ethic isn't the only reason obviously, but you would be a moronic dumbass to say it wasn't a factor.
  22. No he wouldn't, not with Welker and the two tight ends there. He would have lesser numbers. Brandon Lloyd is a more accomplished and probably better reciever then Johnson is, his numbers weren't as big as Johnson's were in Buffalo.
  23. Hope it isn't real. Was more hoping he restructured is home residence a few states away.
