  1. Exactly, people want to point all the fingers at Mario Williams because he makes the most money, well that is a joke. The entire defense has sucked, every single player. Aaron Williams is the worst CB in the NFL. Gilmore is young and promising, but he has been toasted over and over. Dareus has been invisible. Kyle Williams, maybe playing the best of anyone on the defense, but still hasn't been as good as he has in the past. The defense can't tackle. I have never seen a defense leave the opponents best receiver wide open on a regular basis. Defense is a team game, and even if one or two players were playing great, with the rest of the defense sucking, the result is going to be sucktitude all the time.
  2. Nothing personal, but what a ridiculous suggestion. I have never been a fan of Nix or Gailey or their hirings, but Nix isn't out of the field-although he couldn't do much worse. What you are seeing is what you get when you hire coaches that nobody else wants, when you have ownership that can't get a good coach to come here, can't get top players to come here unless you so severely overpay them it turns out to be a joke. Kinda like putting a blind person in a scavenging hunt and asking if he is trying not to win the hunt on purpose. Plus, they spent the money on Williams, now they have an excuse for sucking for the next 5 years when someone says they don't spend money. Even if they were throwing it, they would just screw up the draft pick anyway, so what would be accomplished?
  3. I don't doubt that he is "one of" the players they talk about, but there was an "s" at the end of player. He isn't the only one who isn't living up to the hype. Dareus has taken a major step backwards from his rookie season, he seemed like he was destined for the Pro Bowl this year, not even close. People on this board criticize Kelsay all the time, but if more of the players played with the heart and leadership he does, they might not be, once again, in the bottom 2 or 3 of defenses in the entire NFL.
  4. Alot of differences between these two franchises. The biggest, and it is never guaranteed, but it appears that the Redskins have their QB of the future, ours makes you f-n sick seeing him lick his wedding ringed fingers and trying to imitate Aaron Rodgers Discount Double Check on sundays. They lost maybe their two best defensive players for the year in Orakpo and Carriker. Lost their running back for the year (Helu) and now lost their tight end for the year and they are still playing better then Buffalo. Redskins have problems, but not like this mess we have. They have a coach with a clue. A GM with a clue. All things we don't have not to mention an owner who gives a crap.
  5. It does seem to be a never ending cycle doesn't it? Retard Rodeo, never heard that, good one!
  6. I have always thought there was more to the whole Spygate story and it affected the Super Bowls more then they let on. Why else would the NFL be so insistent on destroying the evidence as soon as they could? They didn't rush to destroy Bounty Gate evidence?
  7. I agree, if Jackson has eaten his Wheaties and is suddenly smart enough to learn a playbook that over the course of two months he hasn't been able to. Besides, you are right, you can't possible do worse? Fitz is bad, real bad and he isn't getting any better, he is what you see and nothing more. What was Fitz when he came here? A career backup who wasn't good enough to be a backup on the Bengals? You might get a disaster if you play Jackson-but you MIGHT NOT TOO! You won't know until you try. He has had much more success winning games starting then Fitz has, so what can it hurt? You either win or lose, and you can't get much worse then losing games you should be able to win with even an average QB.
  8. I have seen every game he has played in and honestly I can't disagree. The name on his jersey should say "toast" instead of "Williams."
  9. One time in about 35-40 years of watching all 4 major sports has a team of mine won a Championship. The 1986 Mets (best baseball team ever) won, and I have been a Mets fan since about 1972. The Bills and Sabres may never win anything, and the way the Mets are going, they might never win again in my lifetime. I do however absolutely refuse, to be a fan of a team just because they win frequently, that is so f---king lame. Band wagon fans might be the biggest pet peeve I have ever had, especially when someone throws the Steelers or Cowboys in your face, and you know for a fact that they have never even been to the state those teams are from, and a few years earlier were fans of different team-who was winning then. Those types of wannabe fans are the lowest scum on the earth.
  10. So by your theory, Fitz is 4 years younger then Brees, 6 years younger then Brady and 7 years younger then Peyton Manning so you would take him over all those All Pros also?
  11. People always run cash only sales on items out of the country when they are in prison? Who makes up this crap?
  12. Fitz is never awesome, so it is still Romo by a country mile. Plus the Bills never get to "when it counts" so he would be perfect here!
  13. I really don't think it is "goning" (is that a word) to happen at all. What will they get for a 30+ year old running back coming off two straight injuries? And what would they replace him with? Brad Smith?
  14. You obviously don't know the meaning of the word "barely." If I am correct, he has two pass attempts as a member of the Bills, both went for ugly interceptions. Not only was that pass not close at all, much less barely missed, it was a terrible decision because the coverage was like a blanket. Give him a chance? I would rather give him a plane ticket out of Buffalo.
  15. Romo. Kinda like asking who do you want at running back-Adrian Peterson or Johnny White?
  16. As far as the Playoffs, this year it is wide open, but the Bills sure don't look like a playoff team. Do they have a chance? Sure they do. But, if they cannot win in the division, which they have done, what? about two times in the past 3 seasons, they won't win any tiebreakers, and it certainly looks like tiebreakers of some sort are going to come into play this year with all the parity/mediocrity.
  17. I think CJ has taken major steps this season, but he still isn't a complete back and I kinda like keeping the defense on their toes splitting the carries. I know Fred fumbled the first play of the game sunday, but he is still less likely overall to fumble on a big hit then CJ is. I like the splitting but it still seems like Gailey could use them better, for example, I would never have CJ in when it is down at the 1 or 2 yard line and you are running up the gut, he is too small and takes too big of hits doing that (see the end of the first half against the Pats). Fred has much more power, better up the gut, but he isn't as quick as CJ and isn't as big a threat in open field. That said, I really like when they have both of them in the backfield, really keeps the defense from playing towards one strength and they have to be prepared for either one of them. Not to mention, all backs can get hurt, and CJ is certainly no exception to that, especially since he is so small, splitting carries will help in keeping the both as healthy as possible.
  18. So many people around here call him an Offensive Genius that I think he actually believes that crap and it goes to his head. He needs to go, and sooner then later.
  19. How is it the D's fault that Fitz sucks? Maybe it is Fitz's fault that the D sucks, afterall when you miss Fred Jackson from 3 yards away for a sure first down and the defense has to go back on the field 30 seconds after it left, that has to wear you out.
  20. i Agree, since the regular season started the majority of his kickoffs have been returned? I thought the whole reason he was here was because he booted the ball out of the endzone so it couldn't be returned, like he did in the preseason.
  21. His footwork is so bad because his arm is so weak, that he has to put his entire body into a throw to get it 30 yards downfield.
  22. He has been studying the playbook for almost two months now and you still have to simplify it for him? If that is the case, he isn't worth the effort.
  23. Not defending Fitz because he sucks terribly, but how do you know "Thiggy" would have hit Fred in stride? The few times he has made appearances for the Bills he has made Losman look like Joe Montana. Well said. He is a very likeable person. I have talked to him for a few minutes at camp when he first came here and he was very personable. He goes out of this way for the fans at training camp. But none of this has any bearing on whether or not he can be a good quarterback, and obviously he cannot.
  24. Getting warmed up? Are you serious, he is getting worse week by week. The guy is terrible. He has wide open receivers or backs 5-10 yards away and hits them in their feet. Guys wide open down field and throws it over their heads or in the turf? I like Fitz, but as a QB, he is closing in on being the worst starting QB in the entire NFL. This isn't a great team by any stretch, but what talent that is on the offense he is holding them back from producing.
  25. He is on the team because he has a 1.000 field goal percentage, not his fault that the Fitz led putrid offense has only given him 3 attempts all year. As far as the field goal that clueless Chan didn't go for, I think in part it was because of the new OT rules and knowing that if the kick misses, they opponent has a kicker who just kicked a 61 yarder and they would have almost been in that range already. Chan is clueless, that Wildcat garbage should have gotten in police charges filed against him, but I thought he made the right call on that play.
