Preseason week 1: Colts at Bills
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nice stop. -
Doc, you know he’s hoping he’s released as Seattle could do what you’re suggesting instead of a 1 yr. Rental for Cleveland. If he didn’t have such a crappy injury history, he did bring his team to the NFC Championship game twice and 1 SB. They basically were winning that SB for 3.5 quarters. How KC pulled that rabbit was shocking. SF was the more physical team.

Preseason week 1: Colts at Bills
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don, I’m normally on the same page with you, but these games don’t matter so why risk a starters injury when game 1 does matter. preseason to keep is figuring out roster 43-53, and see who is for our practice squad. -
We’ll it just came out. Zack has a bone bruise and possible meniscus tear. Sounds reasonable to get him back. I tore meniscus I. My right knee when competing in powerlifting. Hurts like a bastard, but correctable. My $ is still on Cleveland. Watson is toast this year. They already blinked in the Watson camp negotiating 8 games and $5 mil. so he knows he’s going away for the year.
-
All the rookies, Hodgins, Epenesa, GROOT, and Boogie. Did they develop over the off season.
-
Actually the contract is $24.2 mil. and other teams are supposedly negotiating where SF eats some of it like Cleveland did, and the new team assumes the rest. Cleveland assumed $10 mil. Of the $18.8 mil. Owed to BM, Mayfield accepted $5 mil. Of the $8.8 mil. With incentives to get him back to $8.6 of the $8.8 mil. SF has openly stated they want to trade him, and my bet is on Cleveland as Watson will most likely be suspended for a year. Cleveland has $46.7 mil. on cap space vs. the Jets have $3+ mil. The Jets could try and move $ around, but Cleveland is more playoff ready.

Just got tickets for Bills at Ravens week 4!

Youll have fun JA. Baltimore is fine as was part of my Region awhile back. I’m not dumb enough to wear a Bills jersey in some cities the night before, but the day of the game you should be fine. Baltimore is actually a pretty city with some nice architecture. Thanks from the TBD crowd for representing us. Have a ball. -
Malik Willis is going to be a problem
machine gun kelly replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed on you’re points especially that he is raw. I’m betting he’ll start next year and this is red shirt year. The Titans are still delusional enough thinking they are a contender this year. If Tanny and team tank enough where they are out of the playoff race by December, then yes, why not let him get game time experience even if they lose their last four. They play the NFCE, and AFCW so the second division will be tough for them. -
It’s not as good as Sirius, but it’s fine. People can whine about anything and I don’t mean you guys.

NP here bud. They did change two weeks ago formatting. It’s actually much better where you can open segments and by pass some of the adv.. you still have to listen to some, but it’s better.

It was until one retired early and the other went out for the year. It used to be one of the Bucs strengths (yes I live in Tampa so I hear about it everyday) and now you’re right, it is a significant weakness. They really only brought in Julio as they aren’t sure Godwin will be ready from his injury, but he will be back by October. Also losing Gronk and now Howard to us weakens their TE room even with their rookies. Julio will be on the bench by week 6-8 unless he gets injured again early. The Bucs like not only Evans, but also Miller. He’s a solid slot WR. Julio buys them time to get Godwin back. They talk a positive game he will be there for the opener, but most don’t see it down here.

And the best part of this plan is one can stop me… Since I am playing chess while others play checkers. Oh sh@t! The Bills. On a serious note, yesterday you guys have listened to a portion where Jeremy and Joe (I refuse to call him sneaky as it sounds stupid) whether we want the Pats to go 4-13 or Brady to finally hit the wall. Some answers were interesting. By all means (to me at least) please allow Brady to win the South in a tight battle with New Orleans, amd the Pats to go 7-10 to 8-9. No high draft pick, and no playoffs. Darth Vader (BB) looks more and more like a chump, Pats fans pull their hair out, and hate their own organization for allowing Brady to leave. They could’ve changed their style, found ways to incentivize him to stay, etc. So a win for Pats fans wanting to commit Seppuku. Of course, we get Brady in the SB and destroy him and them. Perfect how sweet revenge can be. Then, he enacts his master plan and goes to the Fins next year, we sweep them again, and after this year when sweeping them, next year it will be 11-1 against the Fish since Allen gets here in 18. The Fins finish 7-10, and both Brady and BB end their careers in agony. Thats what I would’ve said if I called in yesterday to WGR. A little thing called work got in the way. Feel free to chime in on you’re Pats, BB, and Brady premonition of what you want to happen. I like mine, but you may have something better. The last thing I want is a 4-13 season and BB moves up to get the best QB in what looks like a solid QB draft. I want them to drown in mediocrity. Did I mention we sweep the Pats again as there are no monsoon winds games this year.

Bottom line is every era has multiple top flight QBs. Brady/Manning was always hyped by the media during that timeframe even though Ben, Rodgers, Brees, and Rivers we’re all excellent. The difference was the team around them and coaching and GM’s. Now Allen/Mahomes have at their heels Herbert, Burrow, and Lamar. Now there are older guys still viable, but these fab 5 are going to Duke it out for a long time. The key is who has the better team and the coaching. Wilson will still be around for awhile so I wouldn’t count him out. I have no idea if the new Denver coach, Hackett can pull them together as they have talent on this team, and the $ will be flowing with the Walton family. Basically one of the richest families in the world so cash over cap is a non issue. They’ll keep bringing in talent and the Walmart Wltons will be writing the checks. To them this is a toy as Walmart is everywhere.

Preseason week 1: Colts at Bills
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
So Jeremy and Howard had a fun conversation yesterday sparked by the Chargers HC stated Herbert wouldn’t take a snap in the preseason nor has he ever since entering the NFL. In addition, the Chargers HC said he’s not playing any of the starters who are veterans and Inam paraphrasing. If you go on Audacy their show yesterday should still be there on demand. They then as a fun exercise said who should McD sit as they already know what they have in these players. Offense Allen Diggs Davis McKenzie Morse Dawkins Defense Von Oliver Milano Edmunds Basically the whole secondary except for Elam. There is a small argument to play Allen a little on the 3rd game so Dorsey and Allen can get on the same page with play calling. Personally, I agree except for Morse and Dawkins. I see the value of getting our starting O Linemen gelling together for a quarter each PS game. Starting RBs benefit from live action as they don’t get it in camp. On defense there is value in Basham, Epenesa, and Rousseau getting snaps as they are still young. What do you guys think about young guys and backups getting the majority of snaps, and the injury risk is too great in a year where we are hopefully in a SB run. Love to hear you’re arguments. Sure we are all excited, but I’m more excited about seeing our rookies and depth seeing what they can do in game time play. I could care less if we lose all three games. In 2020 we had no preseason and look how well we started that year. -
That was funny War. Here’s to another 7-1 beginning, and 1-8 ending season.

Final Roster Predictions WRs
machine gun kelly replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs Davis OBJ (mid November pick up) McKenzie Shakir Kumerow Hodgins I think Crowder is a surprise cut. He’s been hurt, has an injury history and been underwhelming from what I keep hearing from the best reporters. Hodgins gets turfed to PS eventually. The interesting debate Sal and Joe had yesterday was do we pick up OBJ now and have our team doctors and training staff work on his rehab in our world class facilities, or do we wait til November, but then compete with other teams like GB, the Rams, and KC for his services. -
Is there a Football site similar to Capfriendly.com

OP, I agree with Thurm if I understand you’re question, but don’t have any knowledge of the referenced website. -
NFL reffing focus (roughing the passer/illegal contact)
machine gun kelly replied to Watkins101's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s a good point and was a BS call. -
The Assman. Funny episode.

No argument. The difference is Mahomes doesn’t have the size although close of Allen. I agree we have two new version QB’s that will emerge as the leaders of the NFL for the next decade.

Well, great news Brown was back in practice and even had a couple of nice plays opposite Von. ww still have a month so he has time to have the team just take their time bringing Brown back into the fold.
