  1. The kid probably gave his life to the game, and rose to a place in his profession (he got a sniff at the big show) that puts the rest of us to shame. And so as he leaves, he clicks the local boards and reads the lame comments you little dicks have spewed. It's amazing how small you are.
  2. Billy Shaw. Smart, mean, inspirational Hall of Fame guard.
  3. My Dad and uncles bought a seat for their quarter keg. I'm not kidding.
  4. Yeah, we want the players with toe-to-earlobe tats that scream "F*ck the hos, k*ll the cops." That "Phil. 4:13" stuff just won't do.
  5. ...and today's heap o' hate is brought to you by kdiggz.
  6. Incognito's therapy consisted of watching "The View" nonstop for six weeks with his eyes glued wide-open. He's now convinced that Whoopi Goldberg is his Mom. America can rejoice knowing that another rebel has embraced the common denominator.
  7. Yes they do, in the same way that some historians might debate whether Hitler had the best mustache ever.
  8. Once you decapitate your wife, no one cares whether or not you could run with a football better than somebody else could run with a football.
  9. Every time I think that nothing could top the dumbest post I've ever read on this message board, somebody comes along and proves me wrong.
  10. There are a whole lot of people who don't understand the fascination with Manuel by Whaley/Nix and gang, and see more NFL QB in Tuel than in EJ. Just thought you should know that "the fascination" goes beyond "Moron and gang."
  11. Dave and Buster's is looking for someone to clean toilets. Yeah, that's what we're talkin' 'bout. Karma's a B word, ain't it Willis?
  12. It seems you have an inordinate need to tell other people what to write, think, and do. Did they teach you that in the Hitler Youth camps?
  13. I think the discussion is whatever the hell people want it to be.
  14. There really hasn't been anything like these Charles Clay threads. When was the last time we needed to play the "metaphysical" card (well-played, by the way) to characterize a thread? If this goes on much longer, I'm going to have to look up how to spell "transubstantiation."
  15. Lately, on my yearly trip to training camp, the one player who stands out to the casual fan (that's me) is Goodwin. A lot of what goes on at training camp is pretty mundane. Then, out of the corner of the eye, a lightning bolt crosses the scene. I'd read that Spiller and TJ Graham and their ilk had "world class speed." If they do, then Goodwin has intergalactic speed. He walks past guys like Spiller and Graham. If that startling speed could be deployed correctly, he would present a match-up issue akin to Gronk. I hope they find a way to keep him. He is a conspicuously special talent.
  16. I'm sorry I read thus far through this dipstick thread.
  17. I think we should drop Easley and Hogan and Goodwin to make room for, let's say, Megatron and Julio Jones. We could trade half of our defensive line for Megatron and the other half (if we throw in Gilmore) for Julio. I mean, we need to surround our young first-round QB with first-rate weapons in order to be able to ascertain whether he's "the guy" or not. Did I tell you that he's only got 14 games under his belt?
  18. He was born to run the read option, but Marrone & Buddy Hackett stifled his creative flow. This left him thinking instead of reacting, which flustered him so much that he'd just curl up in a ball and go full-fetal.
  19. That's an interesting perspective. He does have that look about him. But, as you said, it doesn't disqualify him!
