I think it needs to be OL. This team struggled on the middle part of the year when the line fell apart. Allen seemed to regress under constant pressure and the run game was worthless then too. Once the line gelled at the end, our O became unstoppable. Give me a first round G or C to improve the passing ge and run game with guys we already have. Then draft the fastest WRs in the later rounds. I don't see how our D coulda been better last night, in terms of personnel. Mahommes is just unstoppable.

I mean, Mahommes was unstoppable too. And since his team wins the games, he's going to be better. I'll be shocked if he isn't Superbowl MVP again this year. People are ripping on the D today, but they were great untill they they got gassed. They covered extremely well they generated pressure, mahommes just scrambled great and made ridiculous throws. It's unstoppable at some point.

I think this is an outdated opinion. The NFL has changed all rules basically outlawing most defense. When you get to the playoffs most teams will be competent enough to score on every drive when you have the game on the line. Just look at the finish of every game this weekend. Therefore the current OT rule with the current NFL offensive push, basically means the winner of the toss wins the game.

Fix the OT Rule for Playoff Games--That was Stupid
peterpan replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL has changed their rules to create games like this. I find it embarrassing that instead of cheering a go ahead TD with 13 seconds left, that instead, I yell "no you left too much time on the clock!!!" OT has to let every team touch the ball. The league is designed for the last team with possession to win. So it's basically whenever wins the toss wins the game. Play 10 minute quarters till there's a winner. I EXPECTED them to get it. Duh. Welcome to the modern NFL. Like a middle schooler playing video games. -
Best Decision/Unpopular Take...Don't Resign Allen Yet
peterpan replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
.maybe I've been scorned by Fitz's contract, but I don't think 1 year of superstar ability is enough for a massive contract. I think it needs to be.multiple years. And I agree, keep his cap hit low. And win the superbowl -
Win big now, or lots of victories but no ring?
peterpan replied to RangerDave's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I vote we win the next 15 superbowls going 19-0 every season. -
Wanna know what ticks me off? Johnson is cleat TWO yards deep in the end zone when he makes the interception. He should HOLD the record for longest INT return in the playoffs, not have to TIE IT!!!! CONSPIRACY!!!!

I predict the Chiefs come out FLAT. Bye week last week. Rested starters in week 17. Played like crap against a bad Falcons team week 16. It's been 4 weeks since they played a good game. The game is different now, it's less physical than in years past..rest isn't as important, remaining in sync with your teamates is. Taking 2 games off was a bad move by Coach Reid. Especially after a bad game against the falcons. Browns win! It's Rust Belt Destiny!!! Only this year could it be possible.

Don't forget to mention that Johnson slowed down a bit to allow Tre to get out in front of him! Without Tre's block Lamar woulda caught him. That level of awareness you don't see is most offensive players or kick returners. The way this team is just coming together is unbelievable. Never seen anything like it.

Trent Murphy was worthy of the cap hit
peterpan replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have never seen such roster moves in my life. Our coach and GM were pulling guys off the bench I'd never seen all season, and adjusted our D to stop their O.... Better than I have ever seen. And wow is our team well coached. They are prepped for and executing in every single scenario. This is a SB team. I just hope we pull it off.- 58 replies

Who do you think will win - Chiefs or Browns?
peterpan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I came here to post exactly this. Off last week, rest starters the week before, poor outing in week 16 v a bad Falcons team..... They are fitting the mold of a team that will come out FLAT. now their O is so good, they could come back quick, so there's always that.... But I think the REAL test will be on this Browns team. Do they come out focused? Are they for real? Or did they pack it in after winning their SB last week????? -
The best run defense is scoring 30+
peterpan replied to DollaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta play a ton of zone coverage. And I wouldn't rush too many. Gotta have your second level players with eyes in the backfield, and cover guys up. Let Jackson throw into tight windows and be ready to pounch once he scrambles. Man coverage and he escapes the pocket for big gains. -
Predict Josh Allen's Next Contract
peterpan replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pick up his 5th year option and stack the roster with talent so we can win the superbowl again next year -
I thought Milano played great. He is a beast out there and made so many good plays. Tre White had a roughy first half. He missed a particularly easy tackles on a screen play that was a big gain for them, and blew the coverage on their one TD pass. Edmonds had his usual day of missing easy tackles, not getting off blocks, and being a step behind. Milano blitzed well, covered pretty well, had a tipped pass, he is all over the field all dang day.

The colts fumble that was not called
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I must admit. The call being so obvious and so wrong has ruined the entire win for me. I was so mad that I wasn't even happy when they won. I'm still not happy now. Why??? Because it's clear the nfl still wants the bills to lose. It's painfully obvious that the NFL puts it's fingers on scale. It's more obvious this year than any before. Just look at the way they bent over backwards for the Titans, but make the Broncos play with a practice squad WR at QB. Remember last year? Remember the Bills getting that kickoff touchdown....that was erased? No review, no wrong call made and it's being corrected, just....canceled? Remember the Texans getting 3-4 seconds extra on the playclock on critical downs? The NFL will simply do what they can to sway the outcome of games to their 'preferred' winner. And the Bills are clearly not the preferred winner. That's something that just ticks me off and I can't seem to get over it. Face it, we won't be winning the Superbowl if the NFL doesn't want you there. -
Chan Gailey resigns as OC of Dolphins
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id happily welcome him back if daboll leaves. Same goes for Anthony lynn. Both are good OCs and would likely be here for a long time without a HC opportunity presented to them. -
Momentum heading into the playoffs
peterpan replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are the hottest team in the league. Ravens are the only.other team close. Ps I know Roberts is a good returner, but I've been saying for the last two years mcKenzie could do it with no letdown and safe a roster spot 🙂 Plus, our team is having FUN. We are so damn dangerous right now -

Colts and Titans Games Thread... and scenarios
peterpan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want to play either of those teams, but I certainly wouldn't want to play the ravens. Ideally those two teams play each other. The winner likely ends up the last seed remaining, and draws the Chiefs. That's equivelant to the stars aligning as far as the Bills are concerned. -
Report: SF to move on from Jimmy G

He will be in NE by March. Stupid move by the 9ers.
