WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers
Peter replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I find it humorous that a guy who goes by "Doug Flutie Band" would use cancer to describe Stevie. -
WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers
Peter replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. Unlike some of the haters on this board and in the Buffalo media, I was not pushing for this to happen. Stevie seems like a good guy and had success with Revis Island. I wish him the best. -
RD1, Pick #4: WR Sammy Watkins - Clemson
Peter replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BB.com just posted this transcript of Sammy's interview with the Buffalo media. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Sammy-Watkins-My-mentality-is-to-score-every-play/2ae9ac34-1dd0-4429-baca-f4d9547f8618 Without even having any names attached to the transcript, you can basically surmise which questions Sully and the Debbie Downers asked. -
They brought Kouandjio in so he is my guess.

Houston wants 3 #1's for the First over all pick
Peter replied to Kellyto83TD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good luck with that Houston. Washington gave up a bunch for RGIII. At the time, I thought they gave up too much. In his rookie year up until he got hurt, I thought maybe I was wrong. I now think that my initial conclusion was correct. There is always a lot of risk in the draft. Giving up so many high picks magnifies the risk. -
WVAU TV Marcel Dareus arrested-edit-again
Peter replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marcel might want to consider living in Colorado in the off season. -
I am one of those guys that would not mind picking a tackle with the 9th pick. I am just a bit troubled about taking the fourth best tackle (according to most) with the 9th pick in the draft. Just our luck. I do see value with having a great tackle -- I just have my doubts that Martin is that guy. I posted in another thread that it appears that the Bills have been using the media to get us ready for the Bills taking Martin. I just hope that, if we do pick him, he ends up being a standout. Whether EJ is our QB or someone else, having a great offensive line will help. Martin seems like he is pretty good -- just not elite. Again, just our luck.

Could Brandon, Whaley & Co be willing to bankrupt this year's
Peter replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to believe -- and hope -- that the model for any trade to move up is not what Washington traded to the Rams to pick RGIII, but what the Dolphins traded last year to move up. -
Firm Hired to Scout New Stadium Sites in Buffalo

My thoughts exactly. Each would be interesting in its own way. -
10+ players fail drug test at combine
Peter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a Miami Hurricane fan, I have been following this guy for a long time. Yet, the kid is hard to figure out. He has all the physical tools that one would look for in an offensive lineman. He was (by some accounts) the highest rated high school player when he came out. Nevertheless, he had (shall we say) an inconsistent career in college. He is not, by any means, a bad kid. He can play when motivated. Would he excel in the NFL? Who the hell knows. Having said all that, I would have no problem with the Bills spending a later round pick on him. That would minimize the risk for a possible high reward outcome. -
Poll: Who Is Your Favorite Williams?
Peter replied to ICanSleepWhenI'mDead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Buffalo Williams -- at least when I am being formal. -
Enjoy this Brady Pic. It takes the cake.

It will be Zack Martin then a RB in round 2
Peter replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly, I have the feeling the Bills are preparing us for taking Martin - who many think is the fourth best tackle. If so, I really hope the Bills are right about him. -
Howard Milstein interested in the Bills
Peter replied to SF Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also very much prefer Pegula, Jacobs, Golisano, and Rich for the reasons that you state. I believe that (1) each would want to keep the Bills in WNY while they owned the team; and (2) each would make sure that the Bills stayed in WNY after they no longer owned the team for whatever reason (so that we would not have some of the same worries that we have now). I also think they would be good owners by and large. -
NYS hires law firm to help keep Bills in Buffalo
Peter replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Listen, it is great that they are being proactive rather than reactive. This also sends a message to the Jon Bon Jerk Offs of the world to stay away from our team. -
Jameis Winston cited for stealing crab legs
Peter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Remember the legend of Jameis and the sweet middle school kid with the notebook . . . . http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9626566/florida-state-quarterback-jameis-winston-legend-making-first-seminoles-snap The kid is doing his best to raise so many red flags before next year's draft. For his own sake, he better get his house in order. -
Report: agreement forbids sale to an owner who would relocate
Peter replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Much to my (pleasant)surprise, I heard that Littman (and Russ) were the ones that talked the NFL into allowing the Bills to sign the lease with these particular clauses that are favorable to the Bills staying in Buffalo. There were owners who did not want to approve these. I have to believe that it was Ralph's desire that the team stay in Buffalo given these clauses. Certainly, the executor of the estate would be familiar with the intent. It is now up to Bills fans, the County, and the State to do what we can to make sure the team stays in Buffalo. I presume that there are enough people that want to keep the team in Buffalo who also have the money to buy the team. -
Bridgewater - the luster has come off
Peter replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope that SI's mock draft works out the way they predicted with the QBs going before our pick. That would be great. -
Report: agreement forbids sale to an owner who would relocate
Peter replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see some of you are discussing the "intention" language. The way I look at it, this is our way to tell Jon Bon Jerk Off to kiss our collective Buffalonian arses. It is clear what his and his partners' intentions are. They can now go f**k off. -
The build up to the draft, in part, is about having some fun with it. It will all depend on who is picked before the Bills pick. Having said that, I would be happy with your picks.

7 Elite Prospects in the Draft
Peter replied to Doug Flutie Band's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that each of the top 3-4 QBs is elite (wink wink) and should go in the top eight. -
Report: agreement forbids sale to an owner who would relocate
Peter replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Thank you Ralph! Also, I find it humorous that the most recent story was broken by Kryk from the Toronto Sun rather the outstanding sports reporters at the Buffalo News. I suppose those guys did not want to bother to read the lease and the accompanying documents and would rather continue to shoot from the hip.
