  1. Bills Draft Room (Video) http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Bills-Focus-Inside-Buffalos-Draft-Room/b37321a3-5a95-4c80-b662-46ed9aa57696
  2. I am with those who think we probably gave up too much to move up fewer picks than the Dolphins did last year as I recall. Nevertheless, I love the fact that Sammy is on our team. He seems like a great kid, comes from a good family, has tons of talent, and grew up as a Bills fan. There is nothing not to like about the player and the person.
  3. I am just curious about what all this is about? How much worse can it be than someone (Bryce Brown) quitting on two teams (Tennessee and K State), for example?
  4. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Bryce Brown: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Bryce-Brown-leaves-as-he-lived-at-Tennessee-Wit?urn=ncaaf,258719 http://www.ganggreennation.com/2012/3/31/2916700/the-curious-case-of-bryce-brown http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/27/sports/ncaafootball/27recruit.html You guys can do your own google research on Bryce Brown, Brian Butler, his diva attitude in recruiting, how he walked away from Tennessee, and subsequently walked away from Kansas State. I hope the kid has grown up. I hope he works out. From what I have seen, in my opinion, he does not have the character of a Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller -- or our best receiver the past few years whom many have thrown under the bus. Again, just my two cents. I hope I am wrong.
  5. Just curious - how was Lynch not worth much and not more than Brown? While I had no problem trading Lynch, I thought he was a good back -- and a more proven NFL back than B. Brown.
  6. I have read what Sullivan and others have said about Stevie. In Sullivan's article, he never really said anything specific, but made it sound like Stevie is a horrible human being. Others here seem to have the same view. Maybe I am missing something. What exactly has Stevie done to wear out his welcome so thoroughly with the Bills, Buffalo media, and some fans? I am asking this as an honest question. To me, Stevie just seemed like a character, and I had no problem having him on the team. Yeah, he dropped a couple of passes - BUT which receiver hasn't. Again, I am just curious about what makes Stevie a guy you have to get rid of, but M. Williams (and others) a guy you trade for or draft?
  7. I agree - especially after reading that article. He has talent, but I just don't think that he was worth the same amount that we got for Lynch. Lynch is a better back than Brown (same with Fred and CJ). I just hope it works out. It just seems like we have a tendency to pay more and get less than other teams do.
  8. Patriots' Manziel Scouting Report? http://www.brobible.com/sports/article/johnny-manziel-scouting-report-new-england-patriots/
  9. I thought the same thing. The story reflects well on Sammy and his family and not so well on Parker.
  10. Just arrived back home in Miami. I hope you had a good time.
  11. As I recall, you are an FSU fan . . . .
  12. My family and I are spending the weekend at Disney World this weekend. I wore a Bills shirt today. While walking around, a guy from Duke spotted me and went out of his way to congratulate the Bills on this pick. He went on and on about what a great guy and player Cockrell is.
  13. I am a Hurricane fan and know a bit about Seantrel. As others have posted, he was (in many people's opinion) the number one recruit coming out of high school. He has all the physical tools to be a very good offensive lineman He played both tackle and guard for the Hurricanes. He got in some trouble while with the Canes, but the kind of things a lot of kids do. He is not a bad kid though. He needs a wake up call, and I hope getting drafted at the back end of the draft does the trick. From the Bills' perspective, spending a seventh round pick on him (even if it does not work out) is well worth the risk.
  14. The kid has talent, but he was a first class douchebag coming out of high school and at Tennessee. I am too lazy to post links, but you can do your own google research about his "advisor", his recruiting, and his time at Tennessee. I hope he has changed. Maybe he has. Yet, what I knew about him from a few years ago is not consistent with the team players that both Fred and CJ have been. The Bills gave up at least what they got for Lynch. To me, that is a lot. I hope the kid has grown up and it works out for us.
  15. . . . a first and fourth.
  16. On twitter last night, the Browns fans were going nuts after they realized they could have had BOTH Sammy Watkins and Johnny Football.
  17. I like Woods as well, but you seem to forget that Stevie's mom died and he had some injuries.
  18. . . . or Sullivan, Gleason, or Harrington etc. To be fair, I would not describe what they do as having to put out negative stories. It is more like they go out of their way to be snarky. It is just sad when you think of the great Buffalo News sports guys like Jim Kelley, Larry Felser, and Vic Carucci.
  19. As an aside, this is yet another example of someone other than the snarks at the Buffalo News breaking a story that impacts the Bills or Sabres.
  20. I take it that your co-worker does not really follow the NFL.
  21. I have to admit that I would have preferred if I read that the Bills traded TJ for a 4th/conditional 3rd.
  22. Good point. We will have to be active in FA as well pay to keep our own.
  23. Sadly, I think that the highest paid player on the Bills is named "Dead Money."
  24. The funny thing is that Marrone was fine with trading for a guy (Williams) who really had some baggage.
