Game Speed. He plays faster than he looks. -

Damn, Albert Wilson is fast. Only Tyreek Hill was clocked faster this year. And yeah, Allen was impressive yesterday. -
Bills “Big Nickel” package is a Big Fail

but it was sneaky. The opposing QBs were always surprised to see Marcell Dareus drop 5 yards behind the LOS and cover no one. -
Josh Gordon to be released-now traded to PATS

We can have Corey Coleman back now. What really stinks is that Cleveland threw in a conditional 7th round pick to close the deal. It was nice of Beane to send a 7th rounder for 2 weeks of practice from Coleman -
Every throw from Josh Allen’s 1st start

IMO he only had 3 really bad passes. The 2 picks and the one where lobbed it over and behind Murphy's head. Going back and watching the game again, Allen played well given the score, the team around him, and being his first start. His final stats for the game, including sacks & rushing yardage were representative of how he played. I am more optimistic about JA than I was 1 month ago. He has a long way to go, but this is a guy who actually has the ability to put up 300 yard games, which has been unbelievably rare for the Bills the last 20 years. Hopefully he shows enough promise and consistency by the end of the year, that some receivers will want to come to Buffalo. And wow, was the defense awful in the first half. It's hard to imagine that the defense would be that terrible for the 1st 6 quarters of the year. -
Predict the Score: Week 2 - Chargers at Bills

Bills 17 Bolts 27 -
Even if Allen is not ready. We need to find out if he has the potential to be a franchise QB. It would be different if we had a legit NFL QB that gives the team a chance to win. But Tyrod is gone and we never found out about McCarron. What can Allen possibly learn watching Peterman’s historically awful performances? He needs to play.

What's a good link for filling Bills Daily hole?

Remember the '!@#$' site? That one sounded dirty, but the title of this thread takes it to another level -
No way. When you look at the size of Allen and athletic ability you can see the comparison. But EJ completely lacks instinct running, throwing and avoiding pass rush. His play looks forced and rehearsed. When things break down he is in trouble. Allen seems to have natural instinct on the field. Both of his TD plays in the preseason games were natural plays, throwing between defenders on the first one and avoiding the rush and keeping his head up, that EJ could not make. it always drove me crazy that Whaley said EJ had the “It” factor, implying that he had the intangibles that would make him a special QB. But that’s exactly what EJ is missing. So far Allen seems way more comfortable with natural instincts that EJ doesn’t have

Bills Run Defense vs Browns - 1st Series Analysis
Reks Ryan replied to SoCoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good Analysis. After watching the game again, I agree with most of your points. On the big runs, Edmunds completely took himself out the plays. He was not blocked and was nowhere near the RB. His lack of instinct is concerning. He needs experience to improve, but it is going to be a painful process as a Bills fan. Milano also took himself out of a few plays, but not as bad as Edmunds. -
Thanks for posting Sal. I don't think SNL could get away with that one today.

Rules of Being a Sports Fan
Reks Ryan replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tuned out Bill Simmons many years ago, due to his whiny voice and Boston homerism. Just one of those guys I can't stand. So it's been at least a few years since I read or listened to anything he produced. But I will give him credit, that this is a pretty good list of rules. Don't agree with number 9 that it's OK to root against your team and bet against your team (generally a bad idea to bet real money in either direction involving your favorite team). Otherwise it's a consistent and well reasoned rules of fandom. -
I agree, it would be great to see Milwaukee make it through to the 2nd round. But history is against them with the Celtics Game 7 record at home. GO BUCKS!
