I'll argue based on performance and coaching the Bills this year have regressed. Plus the luxury of a "easy" schedule to help them along. The defense is insanely under producing. ZERO missteps? Most would call 2012 a collapse. This is what they have put together a little over two and a half into the regime. Most other organizations would find this performance cause to change the FO. I'll stick with my argument. This team sucks and needs players on both sides of the ball before they go anywhere. Nix should not be handling drafting a QB.

I like your review and agree for the most part. But, as far as Mick Taylor goes, I could see Jagger wanting him out of the picture for any commentary. Crappy corners are a dime a dozen. he's a first round pick playing well on ST in a contract year. I'd help him pack his locker, and pack it to the bus.He's replaceable for what he was drafted for. Yea, most would agree defense was supposed to carry their weight this year. Especially the D-Line, surprising how the safety's Byrd excluded fell off the planet. Linebackers we kind of a expected weakness but Barnett has disappeared He's done. Ditto George Wilson at safety. 6-4 was about right for most peoples expectations, the QB plays exactly like expected. Mediocre at best and in no way clutch. Gilmore for the most part has been disappointing considering his draft slot. really no dazzling what it could be type play yet. I think he has zero int's 10 games in. He should come around though. They need a huge defensive draft by a good talent evaluator IMO. Nix wouldn't be my first choice in the 2013 draft, scouting, picks, whatever. His drafts have sucked.

I agree about extremes. here's an example. Some here believe the Bills are still a playoff team. Now that's some funny stuff right there. Merriman seems do be doing "ok" based on a single game against another scrub sub .500 team. So yea he fits real well here since the sub .500 teams are all Gailey can beat (sometimes), and are left on the schedule for the most part for 2012.

Solid depth at DE is an opinion only. I think after three years here he is a monumental failure and actually blame NIX. As for people saying he's back or my all world comment. I don't have time were on the road today and I suggest reading the post game merriman comments.So yes in the end after Nix yet again pulled merriman out of the casinos since NO one wanted him, and his career was most likely DONE.
