  1. What? Phi Zappa Krappa isn't on the list?
  2. I think Hillbilly Catfishing is real to. But you never know these days.
  3. The 49ers crowd is ok, if the opposing teams fans don't start stuff. I have never seen anything negative at a 9ers-Bills game.Actually, the Bills over the years have been fairly successful there which is always good. The stick is a dump, and the Bills last appearance there will be this year. Like you said the only crap I ever heard of is preseason when tickets are cheap or free and the gang banger wannabes show up.
  4. Nice call on T.Bone. I might have to go out and buy the album now. I've seen him live several times and albums he produces are usually top notch.
  5. I don't think that was the case. I kind of remember Florence tweeting he would take a pay cut if it helped signing Williams during those epic 3 days this year. I think the reason they released him so early was out of respect. He was a team guy and the cut allowed him the opportunity to sign elsewhere early on.
  6. I haven't been there in a couple of years. If your into extremely rare guitars, at the museum they had the holy grail. Les Paul's "LOG". I don't know if it was on permanent loan or not. Again, the log, and other guitars displayed there for some guitar freaks is a must.
  7. I'll be happy like in the past when SI puts the Bills on the cover in December and says "The Big Bad Bills". Jaws comments are like any other talking head at this point. Conjecture. Hard too imagine anyone losing sleep over the big bad bills in June. Other than those fans blinded by the light.
  8. Hard to believe someone actually spends the time to write that dribble. The NFL needs a spring league now more than ever. Way too much garbage to read these days.
  9. Fred needs to have another good season and finish so he can get some league recognition. Where are the FredEx T's available?
  10. The fact that Thigpen made 3mil last year, and is scheduled to make the same this year.Well, thatleads me to believe he has some pictures that Chan doesn't want his wife to see? If thigpen gets cut I don't think he even stays in the league.
  11. Technically I guess your correct. But having Smith take a knee in the end zone is really not an advantage. I don't know if he ran a single kick out of there last year. Man, I hope he gets cut. What a waste of millions per year. Reminds of a certain former lights out guy. Can management admit to making a mistake like every organization does from time to time? And just cut and move on?
  12. John Kruk. Far from the best athlete ever, but what a guy to have on your team! I'm surprised he never went on the be a great analyst.
  13. T-Rex is getting himself into a mess that may be terminal. You got to wonder if they just cut Holmes take the mammoth financial hit and move on in salary cap hell. On the bright side as a Bills fan I love it. Jets 2012 record? 4-12.
  14. I think Mike Meyers is somehow behind this? Cool video.
  15. I am well aware of Jimmy Buffets net worth, He's got it down and is worth a lot of money/ Just him and Paul Simon could buy a team. But No Warren Buffet is not healthy, he will probably outlive prostate cancer or so they say, he is not in perfect health and I think a good game of poker with a gentleman's wager is more his style. His liking Buffalo is not too unique. He also likes Dayton Ohio.Go figure. I saw his own gambling railroad car once in storage there in Dayton. Apparently some big deals were cut inside back in his prime. It was very nice. I wish he could take an interest in the Bills. GO BILLS!
  16. Certainly Warren Buffett the young spry 81 year old with prostrate cancer, would be the perfect new owner of the Bills. or are you talking about Jimmy Buffett? Get real. Neither Buffett is looking for a NFL team.
  17. I agree he can play. He's just not what others may make him out too be at times.Lets call it media hype. I guess what I was trying to say if he was a Bill with the same talent he's had in D is, people here would be calling for his head with post season failures. To be honest I was surprised when the G-Men beat Dallas too get in the playoffs. I will even compliment the guy because he did not come into the league as a highly touted prospect like some QB's in the past 2 drafts. he earned his way and deserves credit GO BILLS!
  18. Well, lets look at it from another angle. If Romo was the Bills quarterback with the talent he has had around him in Dallas, and lost every playoff game he appeared in (in the years they even made it to the playoffs), would you still be on his bandwagon? he could have beat the Giants and been in the playoffs last year. His passing stats including the 20k passing yards in today crazy pass happy NFL in 5.5 seasons isn't what really counts.Ask Drew Brees,Aaron Rogers among others. It's championships that count, even a conference championship. Romo other than stats hasn't won anything yet. Yes, it's a team sport but too date he doesn't seem to elevate his play at all in crunch time. Some players can some cannot. Yep, even Tebow won a playoff game, although he will never be a league leader in passing, that game he won,It was his to win or lose and he won it. I lump Romo in with Flaco BTW. Sorry just my opinion I'm sure ESPN disagrees big time. Like they do every year pimping Americas team with a quarterback who has won nothing yet. Flame away
  19. If stats won super bowls I could agree with them (stats). They don't. Romo has choked in at least one of the few playoff games he's played in. He also had talent around him and couldn't close the deal even once. I'm talking just winning a single playoff game, forget going deep in the playoffs. Sorry, not my guy,he's over hyped every year by the talking heads and fails every year. You can't even blame Jessica Simpson anymore. He's average, and don't think JJ's leash on him won't get shorter when he misses this year too.
  20. I don't follow asst coaches either. But your argument was that nobody is calling him a savior (my words there), well I've read some posts where people think he is a guru. Also, as for coaching up Eli in 2010 and 2011 I guess he may have helped him win his 2nd super bowl. Eli's first being in 07, I would love too see where Eli called him out and said he couldn't have done it last year without Lee. My comment on Romo and Pennington really isn't a dig at Lee. It was meant to prove a point that all the coaching up in the world won't make a good or great player out of an average one. That being IMO Romo, Pennington, etc. I consider Romo one of the most over hyped average players in the league.
  21. I wouldn't call them gross exaggerations. I've read some posts here in threads that praise him up and down. Funny thing is some of those posters probably never heard of him until he got here. Personally I don't believe for one second he's a quarterback guru. One of his students Romo has never even won a playoff game. Then there's a guy named Chad who had one good season under his guidance, if my memory is correct. I see the same with Wanny. I'm more of the what have you done in the NFL lately crowd, and take a wait and see approach. Apparently Wanny did receive a full years salary and guest pass for last years tragic attempt at fielding a NFL defense.
  22. Just say no to Ochostinko. The major hotels in Florida don't even want him in their places for his wedding for fear of bad publicity. LOL
  23. So with two super bowls on the line, playing against Brady. Where a pressure filled clutch play is needed, you would prefer Fitz rather than ELI? My most negative views of Fitz were posted after last season and his comments became a thread here. They were something like this"at 5-2 we weren't sure of ourselves and felt the pressure of having to continue to win" I am paraphrasing here. I wasn't impressed by a starting NFL quarterback saying that in public. Every team and player feels pressure. At least they should be, it's what makes some players great. I felt it was more of an excuse than anything. Were not talking injuries here. Were talking the mindset of Fitz and his offensive team. Hopefully that is all in the past now. GO BILLS!
  24. NO, neither of you 2 were my target. Football teams like most other things (politics, music, literature, comedy, etc.) will all have supporters and detractors. Honestly, as good as some teams are they are not fielding 53 all pros. Quarterback is a very important position. Myself I have criticized Fitz in the past. I support the Bills and Fitz let him play all 16+ games this season. I am not as foolish to think that a guy named Lee just because this year he is employed by the Bills will make Fitz measurably better JMO. Now, bring back the ghost of Bill Walsh and I'll get a bit more excited. Also, I'm well aware of Walsh's comments on Trent, that aside Walsh did not coach Trent in B-Lo.
  25. I don't understand how another poster can call out a fan and his fanhood based on a less than ra-ra opinion of the Bills quarterback? But, I believe Fitz was signed as a backup. I stand behind him as out starter for 2012 at least. He reminds me of another Bills quarterback who had a lot of fans on both sides of the fence. That guy was around before the internet tubes were invented. Fergy is one of my favorite Bills Quarterbacks. Tough as nails just like Fitzgibbons.
