  1. GR was mentioned as Rex's replacement here less than a week ago. LOL
  2. I'm hearing from league sources the Bills haven't changed the battery's since London 2015.
  3. EJ is a dead man walking. No way can his play salvage a bad start to a season. The Bills have a lot riding on Tyrod And cannot make next years what 30 million dollar decision based on 3 games. Because EJ starting is clearly raising A white flag on the season for no good reason. He is gone next year. There going to play Tyrod until the crap game plans Finally expose the OC, or he gets hurt.
  4. Sure as heck aren't making him look good. It has to be frustrating it's year 3 he wants a break out year More than anyone.
  5. Jerry Hughes was playing with his usual passion yesterday. I was surprised he had such a good game with Mario gone & Dareus not there.the Ravens could throw a lot more attention towards him and he made some plays. The roughing penalty was BS. I think he helped himself.
  6. Kind of sucks would have been nice too see him play at the home opener. Something he probably dreamed of for years. It was rumored Brandon was making the UDFA calls after round 7. Russ is the guy who has no input on personel matters I heard.
  7. This thread is caustic. Why Start it or for that matter post here? Started to stir the pot by a troll. Close it before it gets ugly. Let fans post on a fan forum their thoughts The way they want too. and start your very own site for homers and ice cream.
  8. When did this become rob Ryans defense?
  9. Battered fan syndrome?
  10. The fromt office is where i would look first then coaching. The players are just the results of those two places.
  11. Do do you really think the 20-30 more plays in game 3 against some scrubs and some starters on the other team. Really made the difference? I don't. What surprised me though Rex unlike his bro apprently is never in his office during the offseason, never sleeps there, etc. read that somewhere last week. maybe the head coach needed some more prep time for the regular season? I remember in his heyday an article on Bill Walsh that He hadn't been home for weeks and just stayed at work.
  12. He's not trying to leave the Bills by dragging out injuries. Because his second team and contract would reflect his injury issues. That said i could see him wanting out after his rookie contract. Unless the team starts winning more than 8-9 games per year. There's a few teams with established QB's that would make him a star. IMO those teams are in the NFC. Like the sea chickens, packers, maybe the vikes, & Panthers.
  13. In regards too jokes made about the team. The bobbleheads are having a field day. Even Dan Patrick who typically Shy's away from it took a couple of shots today. In short and paraphrasing a tad. the Bills will suck, and Thursday's game is not must see NFL football. WIll Rex survive? And the Bills/ Ravens game isn't worth talking about.
  14. no doubt a first would be a possability. But his outrageous contract and one failed drug test away from a major suspension would scare most GM's off. Not everyone thinks like Whaley.
  15. Brutal just brutal. Resigning a overpriced, over the hill pine riding turd. Another player that if not for the Bills would be out of the league.
  16. Well, if that was to happen. Might as well clean house in the FO. So the new guy(s) can pick who they want. And the team isn't caught trying to sell a new coach, etc. Whaley's pick and the likely high price he will pay for that QB. Because this is still a team that will win their fair share of games this year and will be far away from drafting top 3 or top 5. Where a lot of franchise QB's are taken. Since the Bills haven't developed a QB in decades. Cardelle Jones chances of moving into a franchise QB are slim. I would be happy if he can become a solid #2.
  17. Brandon is a excellant carnival barker. Selling tickets to a fanbase that win or lose needs little marketing to sell tickets. The Quicker ownership realizes this the better. Or save face and just keep him with the Sabres. As a powerful trusted man With the last regime, it's hard to think that Pegula cannot let his wife do Brandons job in this New Era. You know because If you can believe OBD. Brandon has zero input on player personel decisions. So Kim should be able to handle his duty's Quite well. #dontletthatwomanoutoftheroom
  18. I would guess they are all Key & Peele fans.
  19. Well i guess it's a little of both. And probably more on Tyrod. Like someone said Tyrod wasn't even seeing his primary receiver much less going Through his progressions. With the perception shady and Bush are pretty decent receivers out of the Backfield. Nothing yesterday utilized the type of dump off passes like too old Fred Jackson that used to work pretty Well. That was a with all of coaches/QB's he played for while a Bill. Throwing on a regular basis to shady doesn't seem to be a option in this offense that much. Don't understand why? Tyrod seemed to playScared yesterday against a team that we should have easily beat. Road game or not. Man I hope Tyrod doesn't Flame out. because going back to QB "purgatory" again will guarantee this franchise continuing its decades of continual failure.
  20. After watching the Broncos/Carolina season opener Thursday. And the high quality Coaching and play on both teams. And then comparing the Bills coaching/play yesterday. The Bills seem to be playng at a complete different level. Yes it was game 1 But it was a game that frankly after Rex boasted the team won the off season.the team seemed To be so lost and played so flat that they are not in the same league as the usual perennial play off teams. In particular Coaching and game day adjustments, and game plans. The Bills will not feared by anyone. That is coaching. Roman who some here envision as a Rex replacement should his Employment end would be a huge mistake. IMO he has done nothing since joining the Bills to justify His lofty status as a very good OC. In fact quite the opposite his misuse of his passing game is frustrating. let Tyrod Loose take off the training wheels and let him sink or swim. And please cut Reggie Bush today. And sign a kid Who may have future potential. Or better yet use who is on the team today. Too many players on one year deals, They are old, some are rejects, and simply have zero value for a team in perpetual rebuild mode. The injuries play A part in this, but Roman seems to not be playing to his players strengths. And seems to be unable to make in game Adjustments. None! I doubt a player with Watkins potential Wants to spend his entire career on a team that simply cannot recognize that. Considering the price paid for him.
  21. Not to hi jack this thread. But does Roman have some personal beef with Charles Clay? Tight ends were intregal when he had success in SF. Yesterday Clay had 3 targets. One of them The days best play was a broken one with Tyrod finding Clay for a 33 yard gain. After that nothing. The price for Clay was Pretty high. you got the feeling he was going to be a huge contributor for a team that for years Forgot the position exsisted. Can't say how Clay did on run blocking but judging by the total run Yardage and the o-line a perceived team strength ( Glen injury aside) that unit may be the biggest Surprise of the day. Sammy seemed to be open a lot his lack of targets was frustrating. DItto Robert Woods.
  22. Well, if,you want a defensive minded HC you could poach ole Wade Philips. He seemed to do good with the players he inherited last year.
  23. The bushman. This loss was by no means his fault and really Signing him reflects on how out of touch OBD seems at times. There has to be some UDFA's out there with at least some potential. That were passed up for Bush..... Who's NFL career is really quite unremarkable For the most part.
  24. The pats*** looked pretty good. They will not Make it too the worst team of the week thread.
