  1. October, 25th 2020 against an 0-6 Jets team, who was the worst team in the NFL.
  2. 3rd and ***** 20, no pressure, vanilla coverage. Disgusting
  3. We are going to lose to the ***** Jets...i can't believe it.
  4. I defected from an entire family of Steelers fans because of "bad things man."
  5. I remember Belichick talking about this in his press conference before a match up. Basically stated the post snap movement made it difficult to know exactly what we were doing, mainly in part because of our safety tandem. I haven't seen much movement at all this year....especially not compared to what I'm used to seeing. Looks like we are just lining up and saying, hi...here we are. It's very discouraging. Here's a link to the interview. https://www.patspulpit.com/2019/12/20/21031657/new-england-patriots-bill-belichick-pre-snap-looks-buffalo-bills-defense-nfl-week-16
  6. As much as I hated Brady for years, I hope he goes to the Super Bowl. Not only will it be history in the making I'll never see again (10 for a player) but I'll get to watch BLo get the ultimate revenge when beat him there. It's a win win.
  7. I believe it's a pretty even split aside from the business decisions a GM must make in terms of contracts. Ex, who can we pay and who can't we pay and what is their value in the open market.
  8. In terms of the running game, yes. There is no question they can pass block very well; they are very suspect in the ground game. The only question I have is it that way by design? Is the reason we have small shifty running backs so they can squeak through tight cracks? Was pass protection for Allen's development more important then a mauling ground and pound Oline? I'm not in the war room so I can only speculate, but the Oline is definitely sub par in run blocking.
  9. Putting the Pats offense in the same category as the Chiefs is completely disrespecting the Chiefs. Did you see the Pats last game?
  10. My only question with such a bad kick is, was it laces out??? They didn't show a reverse angle on the kick. It was long and straight just waaay off target.
  11. Well, you have one shot at a two point conversion. You have multiple shots for your defense to make a play...which they almost did. Bass doesn't miss a 52 yarder at the end of the half things change too.
  12. Well the flip side of that coin is you don't get two, and need a td and extra point just to tie, not to win. It was the right call to go for 1. Get a stop, score a Td, and take the lead. I'm fine with the decision.
  13. Yeah, this isn't even a legit comparison IMO. In Aikman's day Qbs got murdered, wrs got murdered, and there wasn't a flag on the field. Today's NFL is completely soft compared to back then. It's not even comparable.
  14. Lol, we aren't getting swept by the Pats, nor are we dropping 3 straight. We are coming off of two losses against the top two teams in the AFC, including the SB Champions. Im disappointed, but no where near in the panic mode, or the "reality" you are in. I'll panic if we get beat by Gase and the winless Jets.
  15. I can only assume they feel everything is in place and clicking well around the Qb position. Now is the time to insert their franchise guy with all the pieces in place around him. Let him take his lumps the rest of the year.
  16. Really? What we allowed them to do was run...he made many mentions of it by stating "pick your poison.". Now I'm not a physicist, but that pretty much sounds to me that they were willing to continue to let them run that way without giving additional help by dropping more in the box. Of course we wanted better execution. Of course we wanted stops. But they didn't make an effort to stack the box, or run blitz, because that wasn't their scheme. I'm not selectively throwing quotes in there to alter what the scheme was, they support what the game plan was and what we were willing to let the Chiefs do.
  17. Yea, look at the 16 minute mark...he clearly states the numbers don't look good but you "pick your poison," in terms of our defense attacking their offense. 17 min mark....one stop on defense and we have a chance to maybe make it a different game. 19:35 mark...you have to pick your poison, they are explosive in the pass game, you take away somewhere and you have to be willing to give up elsewhere. In the end there, we were in the game. They schemed that defensive game plan, they weren't happy with all the yards, but their plan was to keep it close, stop the big plays and have a chance to win in the end. 22:20 mark...put 9 in the box and go all out to shut down the run game....people have tried it against this team, it hasn't really worked out to be honest with you.
  18. I'd lick the sweat from a yeti's nuts to see him continue to play like that. It would leave a bad taste but at least be worth it.
  19. Clearly. That's why I'm assuming two players were benched. The were looking for answers on the defensive front. But....they clearly didn't bring guys in the box to prevent what was happening over and over. They were looking for someone to make a play on the D line and keep everything in front of them. They were willing to allow it to happen in order to not give up the big plays.
  20. Just watched it and it seems like we schemed to do exactly what we did. The defensive design was to take away all big passing plays, keep it on the ground and in front of the defense. He was asked about bringing more into the box to stop the run and McD stated from all the film they watched, it never worked out well for other defenses. He didn't want this to be a 40pt game. It's seems they were willing to take a slow death to keep the game close and have a chance to win it in the end. I can only assume they believed the Dline would have a much better game with the benching of Harry and Trent.
  21. I don't think anyone said that, unless I missed it. If Allen sucks, we don't win. We want to win, we like to win. I don't think anyone is rooting for failure, it's counter productive.
