  1. Not seeing it man. The arm warp occurs with the best of 'em. But anyway his arm was around him not on him til the same spilt second the ball arrived .. It's all good either way. Trying to move on. We woulda lost to you guys any way.
  2. Totally agree we need to try - Just think JF will never be remotely close - could be wrong. Would rather let EJ continue to develop than go JF. Screw JF
  3. What you can't tell form your still shot is that while Gilmore's arm is around him, it is not touching him and therefore, not pass interference
  4. All of our coaches (including future hypothetical hires such as Cowher and Harbaugh and on and on) will net this same result where you will claim they are the worst ever and dumb and gutless and inept, and then one day....one magical day we will acquire a Franchise QB and our coach will have a shot.
  5. Unfortunately it's as simple as this
  6. I agree Whaley is a must-keep...along with Schwartz.... I suspect Marrone would even look a whole lot better (magically ) with the franchise QB this team needs
  7. 2 serviceable guards, a TE and a Franchise level QB. The D is fantastic, but clearly still not good enough (unfortunately) to get the to the playoffs with just an average QB. The "Dilfer formula" isn't going to work here it seems.
  8. The bad reffing certainly doesn't excuse the horrible offensive execution in the 2nd half, but the PI on Gilmore was certainly horrific in nature as was the "bump" on Hughes which was clearly not intentional at all. The Gilmore play would be a coaches tape used in training a corner just exactly how to perfectly cover that particular route. Such incompetence ....
  9. Mario (still the best player on the Bills) will be in there too I would think... Remember players and coaches get to vote too and they understand how important he is to our scheme and what a physical presence he is.
  10. credit where credit is due sometimes aye? Thanks Simon I'll check that out.
  11. Sanchez looked pretty good last night. I am impressed , but also feeling like over the course of a few more games he will look like the average QB he is. Just like Orton and many others. Nothing wrong with average. They can win for you with the right cast.
  12. Thats fine - (it was my interpretation as well) It would be a flawed play design however if Brown was really expected to contain the edge from his snap position which was too deep and inside to hope to get out on Charles. I really like point # 2 there... Makes a lot of sense
  13. this is the one that got me ^^^^ Damn!
  14. ah , could well be... To me, Smith looked to have the option there to sneak for the yard if our look dictated it.
  15. There were 2 gash runs. I believe Preston overshot his gap on the other one, but on the 40 yd TD the Qb read for the pitch was based on Manny and where he committed to. I don't see how Brown would be responsible for getting out to the edge.
  16. Manny is a Vet and has been a starter. He simply blew contain there... He knows (and should know) better and was not putting the team in a position where his game experience would have hindered the team on a 4th down play. He simply failed his responsibility. If Manny were a classic backup who never really sees the field without injury, I'd think differently of it. Manny was playing the right end for Hughes on the 4th down I believe...
  17. You get football...
  18. Yup WGR (shopp) now claiming as FACT the coach should have gone for it on FOUR of the 4th downs!!!!! My god they really need to get a more football oriented (Sal) guy doing the initial postgame instead of just the wrap up. It's amazing. He really really thinks he's right..
  19. Newer members, this thread provides a very nice screening if you will on which posters might just be out of their minds or overly emotional, and which ones understand the game of football. Makes a worthless thread quite meaningful . Oh and fumbles lost the game...
  20. this place is so irrational when we lose. gotta love it
  21. Coaches did a fine job in this game. They didn't fumble... The coaches set the team up for an easy win (17-3 going in with Bryce Brown)... Gotta know what you're talking about when you call out coaching.
  22. I can attest... Much less disgruntled at parties (Lot parties). Pleasant even
  23. 5-3 for the 2nd half is going to be tough but seems within the realm of reason.
