  1. So Finfanfromrochester, What did you think of the game?
  2. No, I thought after a rough start to the game, he got into the groove and played well through the rest. Still can't hold on to those Int's but atleast he knows where the ball is. Very good tackling as well. He had atleast 2 PD's but none show on the stat sheet for him.
  3. Cool Mario gets as many double teams as JJ watt. That's why you don't always see him flash. Wake is a phenom pass rusher... Our Jerry Hughes is like a poor man's Wake
  4. A great piece on Goodwin for sure. I hope he gets the chance to make that next contract. He's just gotta stay healthy.
  5. Phinfan, no issues with your posts here overall in general. It'll be an interesting matchup. You sound like someone I know... However, that Phin fan I know here in Roch would never be silly enough to type Wake>Mario. That's beyond stupid. Mario is a complete ,every down, run stopper and pass rusher who can do it with both power and speed and physically out-classes any lineman in the league. Wake is a fantastic speed rusher (and boy he really is), but that's where it ends. He's not a run stopper and can't bull rush too many guys. Not even on the same measuring stick.
  6. A special FU needs to go out to Bob Matthews and MOST (not all) of the rest of the Rochester "Bills media coverage" for trying their best to paint all-things-Bills in a negative light!
  7. Thats HIGHLY unrealistic or likely but is possible I suppose. 5 all new Olineman typically will need 6 or 7 games to gel at minimum. I don't think the Pats were ready/ capable in game 1. We will see for sure this week!
  8. Our O-line is better by way more than a smidge. There's was the worst in football last year. It's a little better this year but still a long way to go
  9. and the beat goes on....
  10. my god this board...ugh I just don't know what to say. I surely am one of the biggest Bills fans on the planet and yet I'm pretty sure I don't at all like what has seemingly become the "typical Bills fan". Just some unbelievable assumptions, conclusions and statements that go on constantly here. It's completely mind-numbing. Yet I keep coming back here day after day, year after year, contributing just occasionally, like a junkie or something Must be those few sensible posters that I really respect that keep pulling me back. Who knows? Fire away if you must...It matters little.
  11. I think it's great what Murphy said last night at one point - That NONE of the reporters/ media including himself have any idea what they are looking at on the field. John himself relies heavily on expert analysis from Mark Kelso, for example, to help formulate his opinions. Also, he is much more of a "glass half full" guy than the blatant delusional homer some claim him to be. The proof is in what he says if you pay attention to the whole thing.
  12. - Nice to lighten things up around here once in a while...
  13. He's THIS popular ! (I've got my arms extended out really wide)
  14. I wish Jerry had his wish... No place I'd rather see JF land then the Cowboys or Patriots, but BB would never be that stupid.
  15. mmmm Dino - been a few weeks
  16. The big thing I noticed with Cohen that made me hold back my excitement after watching him play early on this preseason was my concern that he was just a snap-count jumper.... These guys time up the opposing snap counts better than most, and in the preseason many teams could give a crap about making fine adjustments to their count. They are trying to evaluate players after all. Any way, these guys come along every preseason and look really good until September hits. When I saw Cohen actually engaged by an O-lineman I wasn't overly impressed to the point where I felt they would do all they could to keep him, especially without being PS eligible.
  17. the only reason I don't get it is because Carpenter kicks off consistently deeper than the guy we kept for specialist (seemingly).
  18. No it was a play by play film breakdown done by a man who knows what he is looking at. Some things are factual in this game. It's not all open to opinion and conjecture.
  19. Man I really feel for NFL staffs in the internet age. Not that they care what we think (thank goodness), but holy crap! Can't even have an old fashioned passionate debate or argument without media leeches speculating on it and it spilling down to internet vultures/ fans.
  20. Yes, this PLUS they are building a TEAM, compiling Depth and Talent. If the QB doesnt work out after another full season, the guy the end up next with will have a nice group of players surrounding him.
  21. My goodness where do you people dream these things up?
