  1. this is the one that got me ^^^^ Damn!
  2. ah , could well be... To me, Smith looked to have the option there to sneak for the yard if our look dictated it.
  3. There were 2 gash runs. I believe Preston overshot his gap on the other one, but on the 40 yd TD the Qb read for the pitch was based on Manny and where he committed to. I don't see how Brown would be responsible for getting out to the edge.
  4. Manny is a Vet and has been a starter. He simply blew contain there... He knows (and should know) better and was not putting the team in a position where his game experience would have hindered the team on a 4th down play. He simply failed his responsibility. If Manny were a classic backup who never really sees the field without injury, I'd think differently of it. Manny was playing the right end for Hughes on the 4th down I believe...
  5. You get football...
  6. Yup WGR (shopp) now claiming as FACT the coach should have gone for it on FOUR of the 4th downs!!!!! My god they really need to get a more football oriented (Sal) guy doing the initial postgame instead of just the wrap up. It's amazing. He really really thinks he's right..
  7. Newer members, this thread provides a very nice screening if you will on which posters might just be out of their minds or overly emotional, and which ones understand the game of football. Makes a worthless thread quite meaningful . Oh and fumbles lost the game...
  8. this place is so irrational when we lose. gotta love it
  9. Coaches did a fine job in this game. They didn't fumble... The coaches set the team up for an easy win (17-3 going in with Bryce Brown)... Gotta know what you're talking about when you call out coaching.
  10. I can attest... Much less disgruntled at parties (Lot parties). Pleasant even
  11. 5-3 for the 2nd half is going to be tough but seems within the realm of reason.
  12. Wow just wow. Just asinine that you gathered THAT from the OP /Article
  13. Just saw this...Some funny stuff right there... and true
  14. Week 8 - Bills @ Jets WIN Week 10 - KC @ Buff WIN Week 11 - Bills @ Fish LOSS Week 12 - Jets @ Bills WIN Week 13 - Browns @ Bills WIN Week 14 - Bills @ Broncos LOSS Week 15 - Packers @ Bills WIN Week 16 - Bills @ Oakland WIN Week 17 - Bills at NE* LOSS
  15. sure but in the grand scheme of the Pats, Mayo's loss as a leader, play caller and very good player hurts them a lot in a full season. It should come out in the wash as they say.
  16. Leodis balls on every play, and he has the ability to forget the occasional poor plays he makes quickly and moves on. Great punt returner too... I have no issues with Leo really. He's not perfect but the past two seasons has made a lot more good plays than bad.
  17. It would take longer to finish games, but I'd sure be fine with it if interference and D holding were challenge-able calls. The networks may not be ok with the extra time unfortunately
  18. Schopp used to really annoy me in multiple ways. Now I have come to expect his schtik but what really still gets me is his puritan-like faith in his analytics and the idea that it's a bad decision to punt in the game of tackle football. As if the defense on a team means nothing, nor the fact that the odds go down for a team having to drive the length of the field.
  19. I'd echo all that... All those factors made it too much to overcome 3 horrific BS penalties in the 2nd half.
  20. Seriously doubt that will be the case for very long
  21. With mr. Brady it's all about pressure up the middle to get him off the spot. Then he gets just a little bit risky, ornery , and less accurate. I think most teams know this (including Pepper and Schwartz) but not many can execute it on a consistent basis. You also have to take away his running game and make them one dimensional which it seems like the Bills should be able to do.
  22. Bingo And the stat is yards per game like it or not and we are 2nd vs. the Run and have a very good D. One simple example of a reason why YPC is flawed????? Hmm let me think for half a second... Ok got it - You force a team into lots of 2nd and long and 3rd and long - they run lot's of draw plays that don't pick up the 1st down but boost their rushing average a ton ( ie. 3rd and 12 , draw play for 7 yds - punt )
