  1. Nice... Hey it worked for Gates and Graham. Gotta try.
  2. I hear ya ... I think the reason is that there is really no other option for Bills post-game coverage and day to day coverage... The ultimate solution here would be to get some competition for WGR for the day to day stuff with some more reasonable hosts... Maybe even some that know a bit about the sport outside of mathematics. More guys like Sal.
  3. Thanks for clarifying that... that was what I had thought but couldn't get a straight answer.
  4. As long as thats the case
  5. Yup - and it really is that simple
  6. Right. All that ... But in contrast, Joe B said that the Watkins trade was too risky. That's the contradiction being pointed out. (for clarity - not just for you )
  7. Joe B was once a potential breath of fresh air on that station but has unfortunately fallen to contradicting himself and spending too much time praising analytics theories and making them his football bible.
  8. Winston is BY FAR the best QB that will be drafted into the NFL this year (even though he's a total immature douche) but yeah totally agree with your main point "But the Sammy trade was too risky ..." LOL - That station's personalities really believe some of the crap they spew.
  9. Crap QBing not withstanding... No not what I said at all... please read. Hogan happens to be good (decent) at slot. MW is and was not. It's an entirely different skill set - just like slot corner - something that Robey excels at but is just ok outside. this is not about Hogan, it's about Woods beating out MW as #2 and Sammy is already #1. I see that you're not likely going to change your thoughts and thats fine but don't try to validate what I am trying to convey by saying something completely different lol. I'm done I'm letting this argument go with you. and again the 80 yd TD was a busted play... Not one to hang your hat on
  10. When coaches talk about players coming on and/or regressing it's about in practice as much as it is in game. Hogan is just the after thought of the whole point. He's the guiy that gets to play slot because Woods is a good #2 (outside) and MW can't play slot. Oh and the long TD was just badly broken coverage... Glad he caught it and all just sayin. I liked MW in the redzone - never did get to see that much.
  11. Not what he said about MW listen again. He's told us this before in a few different ways throughout the year... : MW is an outside WR. - He doesnt run crisp enough routes for slot Their 1st idea was to use him outside and try Woods in the slot. They then found that Woods was better suited not in the slot and was developing before our eyes outside (we all saw this) so Woods goes outside as the #2 (like he should) to the point where he plays over MW out there and MW has nowhere to go because he can't play slot WR, so slot goes to Hogan. You will seemingly take this cause of yours re: MW to the grave with you. You are one of my favorite posters and otherwise usually make a lot of sense. Let it go my friend. Let it go...
  12. I'd rather listen to Marrone every day than one more day of this guy and his dice rolling, card playing unrealistic idea of football and how it works.
  13. Correction for some - People OK with Hackett staying= People who consistently see Wr's running free in his offense on the All 22 film review. Not enamored with the guy but facts are facts.
  14. As a 5th string corner, we could do much worse (remember 2013?) He played like the position he is.
  15. Brooks should have known that even though the WR had a chance to catch the deflected ball, he should have gone to "patty cake" mode or arm-wrestled the guy and refrained from the hit.
  16. I think a lot showed yesterday in the game... Orton was playing as good as you'd ever expect him to, and then he got hit ONE Time and turned into the guy we've been witnessing for the past 5 or 6 weeks. He's been a nice add this year to steady the ship a bit but unfortunately that's it. He's thinking about Orton when he drops back to pass, and we can't have that.
  17. I think that's all true. However, does anyone think we will not still lose to the Pats and their backups (in the 4th quarter or whatever) this coming Sunday? I really hate feeling that way but well you know we have this quarterback problem, and a shaky O-line.
  18. Yeah Schwartz has been on all year beyond those few times... It's a damn shame that one meant so much in the outcome of this game. Combined with the Oline performance and Orton performance, it was too much to overcome Haha!!
  19. No it isn't necessarily. It's to clog the passing lanes and increase the odds of a turnover or force a tight difficult throw. To Force the underneath throw you must generate enough pressure to FORCE the qb to release the ball before he wants to. This philosophy is pretty standard and widely known and discussed constantly by guys like Gruden, Jaws, etc.
  20. the 3rd and 22 specifically was on Schwartz to me... He should have learned from the NE game to not not rush 3 and sit back on 3rd and 15 or more. Make them throw underneath and then make the tackle! Rough for the D today losing MD and SG but should have still been able to overcome it and didn't
  21. I think this team is on the verge of making it very difficult for some long time good respectable TBD posters, who have been beaten into doubting thomases through years of prior Bills ineptitude, to make such frequent sour assumptions. Just my 2 cents. We are a QB away (though easier said than done).
  22. not in 1000 lifetimes would any team trade Mario for Cutler, regardless of your good point about the approach.
