  1. Thanks for the kind words Howard and we all wish you the best of luck! You will certanly boost my morning ride in to work as compared to what I was "forced" ( by my own obsessiveness ) to listen to until you take over. Do us a favor when you're over there ( and I mean this with respect) and uphold your objectivity regrding the Bills and their endeavors. To me that has been the quality about you that stands out the most. You stay away from both the unrealistically positive, and the petty negative nonsense we are all too familiar with as you discuss the Bills and other topics on your show. You will add nothing but credibility to the team over at WGR! Good luck ....
  2. Stojanovich, why all the vinegar? Who the !@#$ cares what the guy's credentials are? He provided a service and many of us appreciated it, especially because he was always objective about things. Which can't be said for the other local radio personalities in Buff.
  3. I tell you what, I'd take the coach over those morning show clowns! Specifically Gaughn and Puff.
  4. good point
  5. I'm right there with ya!
  6. I think his point is that he's a Buffalo Bill so therefore somehow he must suck and be complained about
  7. You are correct. Oh how true re: RJ
  8. 2 sacks and many run stops against the best left tackle in the game CANNOT be disputed.
  9. Drew gives his linemen each 500$ if he has a game with no sacks. This was verified by AVP. It was mentioned because they gave up 0 sacks this past weekend.
  10. It's painfull trying to holdback my beverage from spraying all over my monitor when reading this post.
  11. Horribly off base.
  12. I actually called in to the MM show last night and asked Mike if, going forward, he would be using a counter action play or two to go along with the ones where they used Bannan pulling to the right. He said that on one occasion in the game, they actually did do that already. I can't remember if he said it was a pass or simply a run to the left but he did confirm that there was one play where Bannan was in and did not pull to the right.
  13. I didn't know Willis did that during the game... Can you describe the situation a little bit more?
  14. I agree with you. Now we all see the complexity of the situation. If there is a team out there who sees his ability and downplays the injury factor, then we (as ICE suggests) may be able to atleast get something for him by going the franchise route.
  15. considering there are 64 starting tackles in the league, I'd say he's above average. If you're talking purely left tackles (which doesn't really make as much difference as it used to considering formation shifts) and you have him at 11-20, I can see your point. One other tthought on this IMO is that there are @ 20 above average starting left tackles in the league right now. I guess it's all how you look at it. I'd probably rank him @ 18-20 of all starting tackles in the league.
  16. nope. that is the easy choice for a lazy detractor. He played with a bum leg and was still suffering the effects of a concussion. My point was made and included the words "when healthy".
  17. Well it's kinda complicated because really the only reason he's considered average is because of the frequent injuries. Otherwise he has shown that when healthy he is above average at both pass and run blocking. He is (when healthy) often left on an island and has faired quite well vs. some of the better pass rushers in the game.
  18. True, but for one year it wouldn't kill us...
  19. I would not be opposed to the Bills using the tag on JJ. As stated it would surely be a way to recoup something for him if indeed he does want to leave.
  20. Agreed Campy! It's fun when you can take the "politics" out of it and just talk about the game itself. It's always exciting to find such posts, rare as they may be. My problem is allowing myself to get caught up in the back and forth BS and then adding to the crap that is already out there.
  21. The way I see it, many of these frequent "passionate" slams on our team come from assumptions that fans make that are simply unfounded. Mind you, I agree that opinions are everyone's right to express. It just seems that having an opinion that can be proven makes more sense. Some examples of these unfounded passions: - The GM is somehow not trying to do everything in his power to make the team better and lets EGO get in the way of decisions. - You know more than ___________ (insert coach/staff member here) about the game or who should be ____________ (starting/fired/cut) - ___________ (insert player's name) sucks! ......... (followed by zero examples of what qualifies as sucking and/or game examples of said suckiness) These are just a few of many typical rants. Now I understand that there are also plenty of complaints that can be debated fairly from both angles, but these atleast personally are the ones that "get me going" as a Bills fan anyway.
  22. Sush!, you pencil necked geek who probably never played the game!
  23. Ha! It didn't take you very long to find this one! I had the over/under on 15 minutes
