Josh: the patron saint of nuts

Texans vs Bills Thread - Realism abounds
K-9 replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Must be tough for Houston fans knowing they have a couple absolute nut jobs running the franchise and it’s a bad situation when the coaches and players have to circle the wagons against that. Initially, I think that can galvanize a team but it wears real thin real quickly. -
The big 3: AFC offensive player of the week stat
K-9 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, one in 2019 and three in 2020. So he’s one it at least once in each of the last three seasons. EDIT: Forgot to include this week’s award which makes it at least once in each of the last four seasons. -
The big 3: AFC offensive player of the week stat

When he first won it in 2018, it was week 17 against the Dolphins. He had 319 total yards and 5 total TDs. -

Long but excellent Cover 1 tape breakdown of WFT game
K-9 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. The film is not kind to him at all. Granted, in two of the three games this year, he’s gone up against some very talented DTs, but he’s a liability. Truth be told, I don’t have a ton of faith in Feliciano, either. Josh really compensates for their shortcomings and makes them look better than they are. -

Another game, another throw or two that only a couple people on the planet can make. Ho hum. Please, let me never take this rare talent for granted. -
That is a perfect answer, an indicator of his focus, and a hell of an example to the rest of the team.

Bucs at Patriots - How to Process this Game
K-9 replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m surprised there are any conflicting desired outcomes for this game. Patriots need to lose so we can go up 2 full games. Simple as that. Personally, I’d like to see the Bucs issue a soul-sucking beatdown that has the Pat*** questioning their very existence afterwards. -
John McKay was one of the funniest people ever, let alone funniest head coach.

Josh Allen named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Is it time for a “conference” call? -
Is it too much to ask the Bills media department or whomever is responsible to put a couple of boom microphones in the interview room? Same with the Sabres. It’s almost useless to make these pressers available to the public if you can’t hear the fricken questions.

Cole Beasley has lost all his power. Gone. Done. Finished.
K-9 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Say what you want, but Cole Beasley is a real shot in the arm to this offense. He’s immune to any variation of man or zone coverage and easily unmasks whatever disguises defensive coordinators use.- 53 replies

Does Anyone watch ESPN morning shows anymore?

The players’ own moms aren’t even homers anymore. -
Does Anyone watch ESPN morning shows anymore?
K-9 replied to sistersarah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not since they got rid of the ‘Kiana’s Flex Appeal’ and ‘Body Shaping’ exercise shows. -
This is a salient point and one the league needs to consider moving forward.
-
I’m glad the league has added the W/L record in extra games to the playoff formula.
-
True, but since the extra game was against an NFC opponent, in reality it’s like playing an extra half game because wins and losses vs. NFC teams aren’t as impactful to the overall W/L record.
-
Sounds like we have a crusade on our hands?

Don’t miss running down the clock in the first half!
K-9 replied to Jammer8732's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great point. I was convinced McD was just gonna take a knee but damned if he didn’t let Josh go 50 yards and get us a FG. Masterful work by Josh and the offense there. -
You keep insisting on chewing on this bone, but ok. I don’t doubt your numbers here, but I’d appreciate an attribution or, better yet, an actual link to the source so that I can determine for myself how much stock to put into their analysis. If it’s PFF, don’t waste your time because I won’t. Hurries and/or forcing a QB off his spot and disrupting timing are two additional indicators of an effective pass rush and they aren’t always counted as pressures as it depends on who is compiling them. Given WFT’s dependence on timing patterns in their scheme, this was a big factor yesterday. Are you ever gonna give Heineke some credit for his ability to escape a collapsing pocket? Look, I apologize for calling you clueless, but I think we’ve dance around this enough. You think our D line didn’t play well yesterday and I do. I’ll agree with you that opinions may differ and agree to disagree. Have a good evening.

Yep. And 65,536 TD passes in the season finale against the Jets. Hey, the Jets just might be capable.
