  1. So, the ONLY indicator of a D line having an effective game is sacks. Got it. And this conversation is over.
  2. You disagree that Heinecke made some great athletic plays to escape pressure and avoid being sacked? You disagree that the D line forced him into hurried passes and a poor decisions at times? Your and I watched different football games I guess.
  3. Now way. Really? I don’t look at the forum during the games, but that’s just a crazy take, even for this place.
  4. Did you see some of the incredibly athletic plays that Heinecke made to avoid sacks? The D line forced a lot of hurries and poor passes, regardless.
  5. As critical as I was of Daboll, Allen and the offense last week, I am that much more effusive in my praise of them this week. Just a masterful, surgical performance from start to finish.
  6. Hey, Gugny! There’s a big party down in steerage later on! See ya there!
  7. People in true poverty and lower middle class people have never been large consumers of the live attendance product. But middle class consumers, especially those with families, have become increasingly less able to attend.
  8. This also isn’t an insignificant factor as well. Over the last generation, the middle class has slowly been priced out of attending sporting events on an increasing basis.
  9. That is not an insignificant factor moving forward. Teams like the Bills, with much less stadium generated unshared revenue, are at a competitive disadvantage because a much higher percentage of their revenues go to their operating costs than other teams’ unshared revenues go towards theirs. PSLs were always going to be an inevitable reality sooner or later.
  10. Or, the cost of doing business with me will now cost you $1,000 more. It’s a free market and we are free to participate in that market or not.
  11. At the same time he was reshaping his body, Epenesa seems to have learned an array of moves and counter moves as well. His handwork is bordering on elite.
  12. He’s 93/153 for 61% in those first three career starts. Nice, but not eye popping. Averaging 51 attempts per start IS eye popping, however. I’d bet if it isn’t, then it’s at least near a record for most attempts in the first three starts of a career.
  13. Per the bold, Bruce Smith might be the greatest example of a player that did just that.
  14. Has Heinecke attempted more passes than anyone in his first three career starts as well?
  15. Ah, those Rich Stadium winds. Wasn’t as big a deal back in the say when we could run the ball consistently, but given our current makeup, it’s a great equalizer for lesser teams. This offense has struggled in windy conditions for a while now.
  16. No worries. Thanks for the clarification.
  17. Contorted throwing motion? From a frozen moment in time in a photograph?
  18. He could join Bill Shaw as the only HOFers to never have played a down in the NFL.
  19. Kelly was the highest paid player in the league at one time, but how much a player is paid has nothing to do with anything on the field.
  20. Good choice.
  21. UCLA - Jackie Robinson Miami - Ed Reed ND - George Gipp Ole Miss - Archie Manning USC - OJ
  22. I totally understand and feel your frustration. It’s that pesky “team” stat idea. No, return yards aren’t added to O stats, but points scored on those returns are added to a team points scored stats.
  23. That’s the whole point of when I said Josh could actually have lesser stats this year and still be a better QB than he was last year. If we appreciate the difference between being a QB and being a passer, it’s pretty easy to understand.
