    Interesting that you seem to wanna just ignore our dominance in the first half. Take away the Hyde pick 6 and Allen’s dagger TD to Sanders to seal it, and we still end up ahead 24-20 on the scoreboard.

    Both called and uncalled. Conversely, the only thing that helped the Chiefs offense was penalties.

    Get that thought out of your mind right now. This is the NFL for crissakes. Every team has world class athletes and great players. There are no “cupcakes” on the schedule. Ever. This isn’t Alabama vs. Cal-Poly Pomona.

    Held our offense to 31 points. That’s what the Chiefs defense did. And they looked mighty fine doing it, too.

    Collinsworth only wrote one pregame narrative and he was determined to shoehorn that narrative into the proceedings regardless of how ridiculous and biased he looked otherwise.

    Yes, but according to Collinsoworthless, those 8 seconds of throwing time were all about great protection from his OLine and had little to do with fine secondary play.

    Beasley and Davis are gonna get theirs before the season is over. Knox and Sanders have become focal points in the meantime. DCs will adjust and Daboll will readjust and so it goes.

    That may be true about some fans. But those of us who can accept the refs as part of the game usually don’t point fingers and the calls, in terms of number and type of calls, tend to even out over the course of a season. All I as a fan, the players, and coaches demand is consistency. And last night was atrocious in that regard; perhaps the worst I’ve seen. Ever.

    That was my biggest issue; the sheer inconsistency in the calls.

    So true. Literally every point the Chiefs scored was aided by the refs. Every. One. I lean towards the 3-4 years together in the system. Our back seven can complete each others’ sentences by now. That was on full display tonight. But having a solid nine man D line rotation and Star back is a big factor as well. Can’t wait until our arguably best player on D returns, too.

    Beat the Chiefs, beat the Arrowhead noise and, most importantly, beat the refs. Not easy to do in Kansas City. Well done boys!

    They may wanna invest in some guys who can tackle first.

    Absolutely. I’m not impatient so much as surprised that a coach with that acumen and background didn’t even try to make adjustments in his secondary yesterday. But I’m still solidly behind the hire and wanna give him all the time he needs.
