This years STer that has no business playing on O/D

Put on your glasses J. Mack Hollins Put on your glasses J. Mack Hollins -
You can look at it that way. I don’t think the roster losses that constitute this a “rebuild” were that big minus Diggs and Floyd. Neither player played significant roles in our seasons turn around. 2 Older players that didn’t live up to their contracts when they were needed. Gabe- mehhhh- paying him would’ve been a terrible mistake imo. Poyer and Hyde had clearly lost more than a step- their replacements may actually be upgrades comes playoff time. Tre- we got nothing but big cap hits from Tre for 3 years. phillips, settle, Joseph- I think our replacements are better. Sure- our WR unit is worse than last year based on history- but what else is noticeably worse? One could argue that this team is better on D by replacing declining vets. The team that barely lost to the champs will get back Milano, Bernard, Benford and a healthy Douglas. Von miller should be better and I love that soloman will be learning from him. I think that we’re a pretty competitive rebuild as I don’t think we’ll be much worse, if at all, yet have put ourselves in a much better cap situation going forward…..which will increase our chances of winning for the remaining Josh Allen “prime years” The chiefs were in a similar rebuild. Their WR unit regressed and they won back to back Lombardi's edit- forgot to mention Morse. That loss could be a big one, but Edwards was a capable LG for a Super Bowl winning team. Up the middle, Mcgovern should be a more physical force than Morse too. Might not be a noticeable drop off if at all.

It’s just an incognito “Mack Hollins- our WRs suck” thread. Don’t get it twisted -
Von Miller/Epenesa/Groot.......over/under 20 combined sacks??
NewEra replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed on the Von front. While I don’t believe he’s a sure thing to be good again, I think it’s unfair to assume he’s toast because of what we saw last year. That may be the case, he may be done….but I believe some people are built different mentally and physically. Based on his career, I believe Von may be one of those built different. If he plays in 14+ games, I think he’ll get 6+ sacks. Regarding Groot and AJ, I think they’re both shoo ins for 7+ (if healthy). AJ has improved every season and has an explosive get off. Groot has looked like a dominant player at times- then he inevitably gets a lower body injury that slows him down. Stay relatively healthy and I think they hit over 20 Yeah- I’ll go under on 54. Eager to see what Babich brings to the table though. -
Joey Bosa to Bills Trade Proposal (Speculation)

Time will tell, but I think Cooks burst is on a different level than Davis. And while Cooks hands have been a mixed bag as a pro, his hands were arguably his best trait coming out of college. I love Davis and I expect him to be the starter in 26, but I’m expecting Cook to be the unquestioned starter. Could be similar to Shady and Gillislee/Karlos. Unless……Cook continues to fumble. That’s the one thing that will put him in the doghouse. it’ll be interesting to see how Cook deals with the competition with his eventual replacement

Based on history- It would be great- until he inevitably gets hurt and has zero playoff impact -
Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs
NewEra replied to Nephilim17's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, but you’re comparing them to the bengals- a team that was gift wrapped two elite players because they were bad- I don’t give Cinci any credit for drafting those two. Both picks were givens. I do give them credit for signing Trey and drafting Higgins, wilson, pratt and cam Taylor Britt. Jury is still out on last years class and Dax Hill from the prior year. You mention Ed being the 4th best DT and Cody ford being a massive bust….as if the bengals didn’t bust taking Jonah Williams and drew sample with the 11th pick in rd 1 and 2…… as if they didn’t draft Jackson Carmen in rd 2……zach Carter in rd 3. GMs make poor selections- several of them. It’s inevitable. I think Beanes biggest blunders have been in FA. -
Dude has been on his couch for 2 years. How does this make Buffalo look like fools and not the entire nfl that also allowed him to sit on his couch?

First team all pro Milano disagrees with you assessment of elite. 2 of our 4 elite players were injured. -

Who is on your All-Time Buffalo Bills Mt. SHUSHmore?
NewEra replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m probably forgetting some, but I’ll go with Colin Brown, Chris Watson, Mike Tolbert and Nate Hackett -
Daaaaaaaaaammmm!!! I figured he’d go to Miami or KC. Yeah, he’s still solid

Feeling the heat….lol. Or maybe just knowing there a lot more turnover than in the past and that more reps can help? 🤷🏻♂️

And yet we still have the 2nd best record in the league over 5 years. Again…..it’s partly on coaching. It’s partly on execution. It’s partly on injuries. You’re trying to pinpoint coaching here. A coach can do a good job and still be part of the problem. That’s usually the case tbh. And he has the 2nd best record in the league…..so he should get credit for that? No? Or is the HC only accountable for losses and poor play? Not “everything” apparently. Wins are a QB stat and losses are the HC stat now?
