  1. 💯 I watch just about every niner game and the kid has what it takes to lead an nfl team. He played a ton of snaps in college. His college experience + shanahans offense = just enough. He won’t wow you with arm strength or mobility but he has just enough of both to beat you either way. He understands where to go with the ball and isn’t scared by defenders in his face. He’s pretty calm, cool and collected. He won’t win many game, if any, on his own. He’s the anti Josh Allen, but he’s a nice system qb that isn’t afraid to throw the big pass. If I’m lynch, I’d see what I can get for Lance before he spends another year on the sideline NOT playing football. In the last 3 seasons (2020 ncaa, 21/22 nfl) the kid has gone: 71-152 946 yards 7 TDs 4 Ints. He never really learned how to play QB in college and probably won’t get the chance in SF either. His career as an NFL starting QB could be over already.
  2. thanks, I didn’t know that, 3-30m 15m guaranteed for MVS who led the KC WRs in snaps and had 42 catches for 687 and 2 TDs. i don’t think that’s a good roi in the least. He’s dropped several easy catches (per usual) and I doubt they bring him back next year. Take the 4M cap hit and move on. I’d rather have Gabe. Both are a tier above jag imo. when we traded for Diggs, we didn’t want him to put up similar stats to minny. We wanted more. The chiefs paid MVS more than they paid JuJu and JuJu is twice the War MVS is. And JuJu isn’t that good. i said juju is better than the other guys, so as not to include him in being a step above jag.
  3. For sure. I agree 💯- especially if we win the SB this year. If we don’t, I wouldn’t be shocked to see them shake things up a little
  4. But you’re sure about the rest of the post. So that works
  5. Because if we win this year, it could be because guys like Edmunds, Poyer, Oliver, Davis step up and take their game up a notch. They might just want to keep the guys we have and run it back while drafting a WR in rd 1 and keep the picks for OL or a different position. They’d have proven they have a built a championship roster and won the SB without von Miller. If we win the SB, I don’t want to go crazy with a huge asset turnover. Trading for hopkins would change our roster dramatically. If it doesn’t change it dramatically, then we’d have mortgaged a boatload of cap down the road. Just doesn’t seem to be the move after winning our first SB. jmo Regarding the bolded- if we win the SB this year we’d have already cashed in.
  6. I think a lot rides on how this season unfolds. If the O get stifled and a season ending loss, I could see a big move
  7. I don’t think there’s any chance Jones is inactive. We didn’t keep him on the squad to get our ST through the regular season and then neglect it come playoff time. His error last week was massive, but not massive enough for McD to go without h him imo
  8. It’s the points that count. You’re right, they should be fine. But they still have to play the games. Our OL still needs to not lose the game for us. The chances are very good. i just don’t believe in saying an nfl playoff team has no chance. Miami has some very good players
  9. I hope your right. It shouldn’t be close but our boys still need to come to play to get to that conclusion. It’s the playoffs…..they should. To me, I always comes down to our OL. A terrible performance by one or two of our OL starters can lead to more than a couple scores for our opponents.
  10. As long as our O is average- we shouldn’t have any worries. But there’s a reason that teams play the games on the field as opposed to in our minds.
  11. My comment was in response to another poster saying that we can just replace starters with mid round players. Bernard was my example of how that could blow up in our faces. As a rookie 3rd rd pick, he fits the criteria in the post I was responding to. He wasn’t ready. That said, I won’t pretend to know if he can play next year. I’d give him the offseason before deciding that for sure. Another camp, additional weight/strength, knowledge of the system can have an impact on the product you saw this year. Milano got better each and every year. Maybe Bernard will too. Right now is not the time to make a decision on whether or not he can contribute next year. You like to label others prediction posts as ridiculous…. your Bernard post is ridiculous. You’re saying that he can’t improve enough to sniff the field. Nonsense. I agree, I think McB wants to retain Maine…… but it’ll be up to him and his agent to decide that imo. If he wants 16-17aav maybe he’ll stay. I dunno if we pay him more than that Could franchise tag also be an option? Anyone know what his franchise tag cap hit would be? Would the edge rusher LBs jack the cap hit or are they separate now? Is Joey Bosa a LB? TJ Watt? Mack?
  12. I figure the line could be worse because we wouldn’t have any money for any FAs. Saffold is gone and will need to be replaced. Morse just suffered another concussion- there’s always a chance he steps away (with 1 year left on his contract). Quessenberry is a FA. He’s not great, but he’s super valuable depth. Our OL as a whole has been pretty healthy this season. We might not be so lucky next year. I’m not saying it will definitely be worse…..but it could be if the guys we get as replacements don’t produce. Everyone talking about upgrading the OL, but if we get hopkins, our resources will be diminished and our replacements will have to be done through the draft, which could lead to an even lesser OL.
  13. I think some of it depends on Kyler and Dhops relationship. If Hop doesn’t like Kyler and things could get ugly, maybe a 4th….. but I’d say a 2 or 3 plus later picks. I don’t really understand the dynamics of the relationships they have going on in AZ. I think that will help determine the cost. How bad to they want to get rid of him? They save 8M in 2023 if they trade him. 15M in 2024.
  14. Replacing Poyer or Edmunds with a mid round pick shouldn’t be so detrimental…… How about we take Edmunds out of this defense and plug in Bernard. Then think about what you said. Sure, it might not be so detrimental…..but it could implode the entire difference if we don’t hit on the player. I agree with the last part- if they chose to go all in on 17 and giving him the best of everything, I can get behind that. I just don’t expect that to happen.
  15. Because it’s not JUST edmunds or Poyer. It’s the picks you have to give up for hopkins plus his 30M cap hit next year and 26.2 the following season. We’ll have to decide between more players than just Poyer. if our offense fails us along the way this year (something it didn’t do last season) and they go after him, so be it. I wouldn’t hate it but get ready to have an even worse OL and some players on D that could be taken advantage of. I just don’t see that happening
  16. They still have some draft picks to mortgage to win next year!!
  17. I hit back and find a new videos the moment I hear Mudbloods nowadays. I think prohaska’s intro might be the worst Intro in the history of all podcast and has now made me really dislike his voice. Can’t watch any of his videos anymore.
  18. Yup. This is what I expect 💯
