  1. Yeah, I should’ve included him, I expect him to be our starting slot. I was more or less leaning towards the gadget side of his plays, which have been less and less. Thankfully.
  2. This seems like our best option. Won’t break the bank like hopkins- Sutton is on a reasonable deal. Jeudy his rookie deal. Both younger. trading for hopkins would cause mass restructure and basically going “all in” over the next 2 years while really weakening our chances of winning after 2 years is up. I get both sides of the argument- -the rams went all in and won a SB. -the chiefs just won a Super Bowl after doing the opposite of going all in. They traded away their superstar WR and won. The chiefs never really went all in- they just kick some cap down the road and hit on draft picks. The biggest difference the last 2 years- KC has whooped us in the last two drafts…..edit: and injuries. I think we would’ve won the SB if we had with our opening day roster + Tre’davious healthy
  3. Penny signed with eagles, didn’t see financials though. Nothing else I’ve seen
  4. Seriously. He’s gotta get the axe. Right? I’d rather we give all of mckenzies reps to Hines/Cook
  5. Awesome. Thanks for the update- had me concerned. Glad you’re well @YoloinOhio Hope to have you back soon! You are missed
  6. He’s no sure thing but he’d be worth a look at the right price.
  7. Really rough would’ve included not signing one of the better guards on the market to a fair contract. we haven’t made any bad signings of significancez. Matakavich and Cam Lewis don’t get paid enough to be considering bad. WR is a focus, but it’s a terrible WR market and the dominos haven’t begun to fall yet. We’ll get someone. we just haven’t made a splash - in an offseason in which we started 20M OVER the cap. Losing edmunds was a lock in my eyes- as was losing Poyer. Doubtful, but there’s still a chance he returns. I don’t think this has been a bad start- many fans are just losing their minds because Miami got Ramsey and the jets are gonna get Rodgers.
  8. He would’ve been a nice compliment to cook- but I’d rather pay Jamaal if the price goes to 3.7M
  9. They decided that their window is now and went for it. If either win the SB….then we’ll know if it’s actually their time or just a waste of resources and future cap space.
  10. He did- including taking on blockers and stopping the run. I just think a D with a LB unit of Milano and Bernard would get trucked all game. I’d rather have Dodson (or Klein) and Milano. prove me wrong Bernard.
  11. Skins about to make the move for Ekeler? I’d like to snag Antonio Gibson for a late rounder.
  12. But they’re asked to do different things. I think Bernard and Milano would get rolled vs the run
  13. Good point- but I still want Milano on the line playing aggressively. If Bernard is the other LB, i don’t think that’s happening (with any success)
  14. Yeah- the current options to compete with Gabe aren’t looking to good. Johnston and Addison are the only options that would excite me. Flowers and the rest of the WRs capable of playing outside would probably get beat out by Gabe. the FA WRs- theilen…. I love his hands so I don’t hate the thought….but I really do hate the thought. juju- can’t stand this dude. He’s an upgrade over gabe 💯- but I’d rather spend the money elsewhere. lazard- no thanks- I don’t want to pay him what others are going to pay him. slayton- meh- better get someone better than him. He’s ok. Just ok. chark- could be a threat but I don’t know how involved he would be. Hardman- I’d prefer a non midget- I’m hoping for more. marvin jones- I think he’s the guy we’re going to sign (along with drafting a WR top 2 rounds). I love the size and catch radius- could be a good value- I wouldn’t want to pay him more than 3-4M max -
  15. I see a lot of talk about moving Milano to Edmunds spot and I don’t get it. Milano is an All Pro on the outside doing what they ask him to do. Asking him to do what Edmunds did is entirely different. I think the sound of it makes sense- I’m just not sure it’s a good idea to change what Milano does for our defense.
  16. I’m not saying I want him. I’m just saying that he fits just fine. I think we should allocate the the money we’d have to pay him and the draft picks to trade for him into the OL and WR. But if we traded for him, I’d be excited to watch him play for us while we try and win super bowls. While be subject to the whining and crying of the sadness brigade: “Beane didn’t do what I want!”, “Cancel Beane now”!!! He’s a great player and would definitely be a great asset for our offense. Especially if Dorsey could find a way to use cook and ekeler in the lineup at the same time.
  17. I think this is the best bet too. Or roll the dice on another RB in rd 5-6-7 edit- ekeler is the kind of back they hope Cook can be. Ekeler was a top 3 back last season running behind a poor OL with a terrible OC
  18. Yeah- the only problem would be our QB (and OC) getting him the ball in the pass game. if we can’t- he’s not worth the $ or trading of a pick
  19. This would be such a huge get
  20. RB1- He’ll catch passes. He’ll get first downs. He’ll score TDs. He’s a good short yardage back. He’s a bad man. James Cook will be his backup and hopefully play some slot-wing. Hopefully taking some of Mckenzies plays. Hines- returner - gadgets- RB3 he fits just fine….. minus the salary
  21. It really is. people whining about rumors…. you can’t make this stuff up
  22. It’s ok man. You don’t care what other think of you.
  23. Dude is smokin crack- sanders is the exact guy we don’t need, due to price (not talent). Not that I’m advocating trading for ekeler (I’m not)….but I’d rather give up a 4th rd pick and pay ekeler than to pay sanders. If we’re going to pay a RB big money, he better be a super star.
