the way I see it, we the bills aren’t worthy of your fandom. The Bills are too soft mentally, unlike you. You should start rooting for team with a rock hard foundation, unlike the Bills You’re nuts bro. Forrealdough

No. Those aren’t the only fools

These threads are the best. People just making fools of themselves for our enjoyment. 🤣

Isaiah Simmons might be an answer for the Bills at MLB
NewEra replied to gjv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Depends what you want out of your MLB. Seems like he fits what they’re looking for. Fast, sideline to sideline with long arms. He may never be anything more than depth, but it looks like he and Spector are the best equipped athletes for the job on papa imo. like many have said- he weighs as much as and has longer arm Fred Warner. About the same weight and slightly shorter arms than Shaquille Leonard. Weighs 6lbs less then and his arms are 1.5 inches longer than roquon smith. While also being much faster than Warner and Leonard and same speed as smith. his size isn’t a problem. Get stronger and hit the books. Coaching and heart will determine this kids future imo. He’s fine physically -
That play will never leave memory. The most important play of his life to date….and he didn’t even get out of his stance by the time a 32 year old DE was already by him. Josh to his rescue. Just feels like he’s going to get 17 killed one of these days. I agree 💯 we add 26 interior offensive lineman and only resigned the terrible Quess, which gift wraps the RT job to him, rather than making him earn it. Which is why I hope they give Edwards or Bates a shot at RT. A competition would only up his game if he is who they think he is.

We might have the best TE room in the league- definitely top 5 imo

I’d take our WRs in 2023 over the saints and bears 💯 Other than that, it looks about right to me

https://nfltraderumors.co/andy-reid-confirms-donovan-smith-will-play-left-tackle/ looks like he’ll start @ LT because they don’t have any confidence in Taylor playing LT or the other scrubs playing RT. didn’t even give Taylor a chance at LT after paying him 20M aav to play LT. 🤣

I agree with all of this. it’s just a shame that they didn’t bring in any competition for brown. He’s been nothing but terrible in pass protection. As I’ve stated previously- this decision might turn out to cost this regime their jobs. rd 1 of the playoffs- close game- brown gets wrecked and we lose partly due to his poor play. It’s a fireable offense after watching this guy play football for 2 years. He was drafted with the same pick as Terrell Bernard. No one is expecting him to be named starter and the Bills have already drafted his replacement a year later with the same pick. Man, I REALLY hope they’re right about Brown. I see his potential too…. But show me the baby

Being one of our best offensive lineman isn’t saying much. I didn’t think he was better than Dawkins or Morse. That leaves him being better than Saffold and Brown. You were better than those guys. I like Bates and I’m not condoning trading him. I’m not saying he’s bad. I think he’s sufficient and his versatility gives him more value. I hope they give him a shot @ RT. I don’t think he’ll be better than Torrance. If he is, I think we made a mistake drafting Torrance. I really hope our OGs are mcgovern and torrance. Bates as RT or the backup at almost every position and possibly taking over for Morse after next season.

I agree. i also think he’ll play more than 10% of his snaps in line

Anyone listen to The Rockport Report draft recap pod from a couple weeks ago? Nate Geary was the guest and he was brutal in that particular episode Maybe he should refrain from putting down beers. Forever. His reasoning for Kincaid being a bad pick was Dorsey and his play calling last season + the fact that they ran less 12 personnel than any team in the league. If Dorsey is the problem with drafting Kincaid….. then Dorsey is the problem and won’t be around long anyway. It has nothing to do with Kincaid. Basically disregarding the fact that Kincaid will be used as the slot the majority of the time. Refuting the fact that bringing in OJ Howard last year (and guaranteeing him 3.1m) had anything to do with Dorsey wanting to implement more 12 personnel…. Even though the panthers ran the 2nd most 12 when in Carolina. It was a cringeworthy portion of pod on his end. But down the beers nate- you’re a lightweight

Should Beane have made the trades that he did NOT make?

“Probably cost us the Super Bowl” lol. That’s a you post for sure. “it may have cost us a Super Bowl” is logical, but it wouldn’t be so negative. Hence why you wrote what you did. 🙄 per usual absurd = the posters MO -
No

He’s a sub 240 pass rusher- I love the guy too, but not for our scheme. He’s just not a fit.

Josh Allen Dethroned(Micah Hyde Softball Home Run Derby)

It’s just part of my 2023 offseason schtick. I don’t like Spencer Brown being our RT1 especially with Quess or Doyle as his competition. They should have given him some competition. He wins by default. I’m extremely optimistic about this team. More than most. I’ve watched Spencer Brown hurt our offense for the last two years. Josh is about the only QB in the league that could take this offense the heights it reached the last 2 years with Brown as the RT. I can only imagine how good our offense would be if we had a competent RT. My feelings about brown won’t negatively impact our season. His play on the field likely will. I hope to be wrong, but being optimistic about him won’t change a thing. -
If You Could Pick Any RB to Line Up Behind Josh

I think it’s because he’s a murderer and many people don’t like that? They’d rather have a non murderer in the backfield. personally, I’d take him. He looked to be as special as special can be. Wish I would’ve been able to watch him live and remember. other than him- I’ll take Adrian Peterson or Earl Campbell. I love the violence in their running style. -

Swinging baseball bats as hard as you can + bad back = the worst RT in the league in 2023. -

Thanks- @Doc corrected me. Too lazy to fix my post 🤣 Since I made the post, I read the cardinals forums and talked to a buddy who’s a cardinal fan. Consensus seemed to be that he had his best season last year but was more of a big nickel than mlb- he covered the slot a lot. Most felt that was the only role he could really excel in Considering his 5th year option would make him the highest paid slot corner in the league- everyone agrees with the team not picking up the 5th year- seems like he could be a fit for us as a :rd LB- a la Shaq Thompson, but not sure he would be a fit at the Mike in a 2 LB set -
Still can’t believe he fell to 25 and Beane traded up for him!!!

Fairly confidant that will be the plan.

He’s a pimp. in other news- where’s Britt? Where’s Diggs? Put 2 and 2 together- uhoh -
The old fashioned way John!

I agree. He’s a very good blocking slot WR. I’ve watched a bunch of game tape- and his misses are really bad. Many plays where he just couldn’t even get his hands on the CB and the play went for a loss. Also many plays where he did enough to spring the back. There will be times where we’ll like but you’re right…. He a solid blocking slot WR

I think it deserves some analysis too. Unfortunately, the analysis ends @ 6.5M cap hit. If Az would assume most of that hit (if that’s even possible), I’d be good with trading a 6th for a 1 year rental. And a 6th might even be a bit rich.
