  1. Any financials released for Harris or Sherfield?
  2. Keep telling myself what? That motor is worthy of a 2-3M contract as a change of pace back/backup? that’s what he is. And that’s what he’ll be for the next couple years. I couldn’t care less what you keep telling yourself
  3. No. If he was horrendous, he wouldn’t have gotten a contract. Motor is a decent back. Nothing more- nothing less. Your ridiculous posting habits continue
  4. I’m just going to express that I think we’ll be happy with him
  5. My bad- i should looked into it before posting. I just recall watching the games with my buddy, listening to him complain about how Sherfield is keeping Aiyuk off the field for the first bit of the season. Aiyuks snaps went from averaging 63%ish the first 6 games to 90%+ the rest of the season. Feel free to chime in with someone other than: Stats. reasons why he’s a good or bad signing?
  6. “He’s horrendous”. Lol. This take sums up you as a poster very well. Thanks for posting this.
  7. I’m not saying he’s a star or a great player. He’s a nice backup that can do pretty anything a WR would be asked to do. We currently don’t have one WR that can fill the variety of roles that he can. His stats last season (30-400+) were on par for a guy that played less than 60% of the teams plays and behind Tyreek hill and waddle. Why throw to sherfield when you can throw to them? He’s an upgrade to the back end of the WR room as well at ST units. Considering the current WR sitch, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was more than a WR5-6. As stated…. He was WR3 in Miami playing over a 7M aav investment. It’s a good signing- feel good about it or pout about it. Up to you. I feel very good about it
  8. Thanks for the memories Motor. You’re a class act and I’ll miss watching you making people miss but I’m glad I don’t have to worry about
  9. Yup. This signing upgraded our receiving unit as well as ST units. This
  10. And a nice depth WR4-6 that will get some snaps. I don’t think he’ll return kicks. He was WR3 in Miami last year. Playing over a 7M WR
  11. Because I watched him a lot in 2021z I aMy best friend is a die hard niner fan. I’ve been watching every niner game for the last 15+ years. Sherfield really impressed me watching him 2021. He was starting over Brandon Aiyuk the first 1/4 of the season mainly because he was doing everything right and 💯. He can run block (Pff rated him #1 last year), run proper routes inside and out, has reliable hands, solid RAC, can make contested catches and is a core ST player with good speed. Can anyone tell me anything that they don’t like about him…. other than his production? I think he’s going to be a cheap and end of the rotation backup WR that may surprise and earn more snaps than people think. He’s done it the last two years. Miami signed Cedrick Wilson to a 3-22M contract to be Miamis WR3. Wilson played 22% of their offensive snaps. Sherfield played 57% and led their team in ST snaps. He earns his snaps. If he doesn’t get 40% of our snaps this season I think that it’ll be because Beane added another very good WR. I think he’ll get snaps over any WR selected after rd 2.
  12. He’s pretty good- haven’t seen the financials but if it’s under 2M aav, it’s a nice addition
  13. I agree with all of this. I haven’t listened to cosell since the combine. Did he mention any SR in particular @ 27? imo- addison, Johnston and JSN are the only guys that would be worthy of our 1st rd pick. Flowers and Hyatt, not worthy but I’d be excited about adding to the offense. Josh has the ability to turn them into stars.
  14. Thank goodness. I don’t think either will end up counting, but we’ll see
  15. Interesting. You could be right. I just don’t see the WRs that will be available as having as much of an impact in 2023 as OBj would. I would hope we could sign him to deal that guarantees 1 year so we can move on next year if we want.
  16. Yeah that works for me- we’ll see what Beane and the rest of the league feels.
  17. We don’t even know what he wants- only that he wants more than 4M. It looks as if Beane won’t pay him what he wants present time. That said, I don’t think it’s on Beane as much as it’s on the rest of the league. If no one will pay him what he thinks he’s worth, which looks to be the case (so far), his price will come down and possibly into a range where we can afford him. If that happens, maybe Beane will pay him what he wants.
  18. Agreed. Having 4 picks in the first 3 rounds should be our goal- WR, Mike, OL and either DL or TE would be ideal.
  19. The guy you speak of will be a 1-3 rd draft pick imo….. unless OBj will take 5-7M for one year.
  20. He’s almost 220 now. 6’1
  21. Yeah, he played on the outside plenty in SF.
  22. Yeah, he was pretty good in SF. When Aiyuk was going through his battle with Shanahan early 2021, sherfield got his snaps and was producing. I watch every niner game and was impressed with his play. For under 1.5M, he’s a very solid addition.
  23. I didn’t read an infatuation in his post. He said he’s not a jag. He’s right. He’s not. He’s better than a Jag and won’t be paid like a jag. I agree with those people that would rather use his cap space on offense and replace him with someone a lot cheaper. That player would likely be a Jag…..but Ed is not.
  24. I think campbell has the highest floor of the mikes. He can do everything a MLB is supposed to do- but could be better in coverage. I don’t think he’s worth 27….. but I also don’t think anyone likely to be available for us will be worth 27. I don’t want a Mike @ 27 but considering the draft, I get why. I don’t like any of the later round LBs very much. They all seem too small.
