  1. I listened. I still feel the same. jesus
  2. i just find it odd to “based on his progressions so far”….. what progressions? He’s working out and playing golf? tre’s injury has nothing to do with Vons injury. I don’t know why it’s even being discussed. i think Von making it trough an entire 17 game season AND being healthy come playoffs is pushing it. We got him for one reason. To win playoff games. We were gifted a soft spot of our schedule to open the season. We should take advantage off it and shorten his season by limiting his opportunity to get injured again. jmo
  3. What do you know about his progression? I don’t think you have a clue. No offense
  4. Do you want him to play week 1?
  5. Lol. Mine came up as “sorry, we’re having technical difficulties” and some weird icon.
  6. He’s been on my wish list every offseason. He’s better than our previous 2nd round picks.
  7. Would you miss the game or watch it elsewhere? I haven’t read any of this thread, but I’m assuming that you can sign up for 1 month and then cancel, costing you $10 or so. The price of a coffee nowadays. I’m just worried about my bills bar not being able to show it for w/e reason. I’d sure as hell sign up and cancel before outright missing a Bills playoff game….
  8. And then their season would over 1 game later.
  9. Yeah…. The same spot they were in this year if they didn’t get him. The fast track to picking top 15. I think the odds are that he plays pretty good. Just need lots of things to fall in place. Like every eventual champion.
  10. Just a year removed from back to back mvps- even a declining Rodgers can be enough. I think he’ll be rejuvenated but there’s definitely a chance we see another regression.
  11. Obviously. Same goes for every team in the league. Being an afc team with a very good roster is useless when you don’t have a qb. They were one qb away from being a SB contender and got the only one that would accomplish that. The way I see it, drafting and developing a rookie qb, considering how poor this qb class was, likely would’ve ended up in drafting a QB not SB worthy for at least 2-3 years….and likely never worthy imo.
  12. He was on some decent teams. Comparing talent, I this this Jets team is just as talented. The guy has won a Super Bowl. He’s arguably one of the greatest QBs of all time. He beat out allen for MVP 2 of the last 3 years. Sure, he’s declining, but who else were they going to get? They needed a QB and they got the best one available. Not sure why anyone would frown on what they did.
  13. Because he did exactly what everyone wanted him to do: Support Josh Allen: started 20M OVER the cap. -IOL was a major issue last year. It doesn’t look to be an issue atm. Spent $ on McGovern- 2nd rd pick on Torrance, added edwards. -we needed better playmakers and weapons over the middle of the field- 1st rd pick on Kincaid- signed Harty and Sherfield- upgrades over Mckenzie and Kumerow (if you don’t believe they’re upgrades, you’ll soon see) -needed better goal line RBs- added harris and Murray. all those additions and we were able to keep the entire DL intact while adding Poona. So 20M over the cap and we added significantly on O while suffering one loss on D in edmunds. A non premium position. sure, it would be nice to add another pass rusher. I think we will as long as one will agree to a minimum/incentive based contract. I don’t think we’ll sign anyone for more than 3.5M+. We look to be done kicking money down the road for this offseason.
  14. that is definitely a horrible spot to be in…..if they didn’t win a Lombardi and can’t get a decent QB when AR steps away. But right now, they have something to get excited about. That’s all you can ask for as a fan and a team. To have a chance to win a Super Bowl. The Jets definitely have that imo. 1, maybe 2 or 3 shots. Nfl is not for long- you can’t just plan long term. Especially if you don’t have a QB. They didn’t have a QB and they didn’t have a chance to win a Super Bowl. Now they have both. At the expense of salary cap and/or draft picks. Per usual. they have some elite type players on rookie deals- they made a smart play imo. He was the only QB that changed teams that would’ve made them a SB contender imo. Carr, nah. Slimmy G, hell nah. Mariota, stidham, Dalton? No.
  15. I don’t have to keep anything in mind. Douglas does. All I said was that I believe that they plan on keeping Williams. I agree they’re in a terrible cap position going forward and are def all in the next 2 years. They’ll be paying rodgers cap hit over the next 5 years. I don’t think they’re the rams- they are set up much better for the future. They’ll be in cap hell throughout- but they can navigate it to be competing for the next 5 years as long as they replace AR properly. They have superstars and core players (gardner- Wilson- Breece- Clemons- Johnson) that will be getting paid on their rookie contracts for the next 3+ years. All of the rams superstars were getting paid big bucks and on their 2nd and 3rd contract.
  16. Oh I know they’re in a bad spot. I also know that teams can kick as much money as they want and long as they kick it down the road. How much and how far do they want to kick it is the question. But they can sign him. Make no mistake about it I just don’t see them getting rid of the such and impact defensive lineman.
  17. Just like every contender that pays their QB. It’ll be a challenge for sure but definitely possible. if they don’t sign him, good. Hopefully an NFC team will pay him. He just strikes me as a guy that Saleh needs and wants for his defense
  18. Depends how Ed plays in 2023. Based on last season play- I think 12-16M I expect him to play better this year and likely play himself out of Buffalo
  19. I think they’ll get a deal done. I’m thinking he’ll get 25/26m.
  20. You’re using size to prove your point? 🤣 🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s the skillset that determines whether or not someone is an effect slot. Your takes in this thread are really strange. Again….. size doesn’t = skillset. Skillset is what determines if a player can be effective in the slot….. not size. Tremaine Edmunds - 6’5 250- we should’ve been using him In the slot all along. while knox is a very good athlete, his nuanced route running and start and stop ability is lacking. His movement skills are nowhere near Kincaids. They are much different movers
  21. Did they ask the people on broadway in Nashville? If they did…. There’s a great chance that they knew what the logo of their local nfl team. It’s everywhere.
  22. It’s not all Josh allen. mostly. Then why is the browns defense crap every year while the Bills. More talent…. Yet their results on D suck. Meanwhile the bills have a top 1-5 d routinely, the Browns are usually in the bottom 1/3 of the league. I think the Bills have had more talent on D as well as better coaching. The browns have had a beast OL and decent weapons…. I’d take the Bills WR unit and TE unit over Clevelands. I’d take the browns RB. Imo, the browns only advantages are the OL, RB and having Myles Garrett.
