  1. We won’t even have to worry about taking him. He’ll be gone
  2. If Campbell is the pick, so be it, but Simpson better be off the board. Campbell doesn’t have the sideline to sideline I’d prefer. And if we thought Tremaine got stuck on blocks, Campbell is even worse in that regard trading down is the best case scenario. Hope to snag an early 2nd and 3rd for 27
  3. What I want most from a 1st rd selection outside the top 20 picks: An elite player/ superstar. I think he can be one so I’m good with it. now that we have Harris makes him less attractive, but Harris is probably gonna get hurt and miss most of the year anyway.
  4. I agree completely. I thought we had the team this year but the injuries on D and having a rookie OC were too much to overcome. Just wasn’t meant to be.
  5. Idk man. I love Beane but giving him 4-5 years with no SB win is pushing it. All pro cornerstone players on D prior to Beane: Milano, white, Poyer and hyde. He’s signed 1 good offensive lineman (and had to make him the highest paid C in the league to do so). He’s drafted and developed exactly no good OL to date (except the one he traded while keeping bums). 1 decent WR. No good RBs (maybe cook too early to tell for sure). 1 good TE. Cornerstone players he’s drafted- Knox- 14m a year says he’s cornerstone Rousseau- looks to be anyway. Bass- hope to resign him. Might be Beanes best pick. Gabe- maybe- my vote is No unless he takes less than 5-6M aav. Ed? Probably not. Tremaine- gone harry- gone Teller- tradeD He’s made a bunch of free agent mistakes but he’s also hit on a lot: Beasley, Brown, all the DL signing last year, Daryl Williams for 1 season and morse. Trading for Bates was a plus. He’s done a great job piecing the team together but his draft results have not been good. Looking at the first 2 days of the draft, i would grade Josh, Diggs (some like to count this so I will), Knox and Rousseau successful picks. 4 players out of 13. The rest haven’t lived up to our hopes. Taron, teller (but minus points for trading him), Gabe, Hamlin, hodgins, Dane and Neal are the day 3 guys that turned out to be solid players. Taron and Teller being the only guys that I would consider really good. I’m a big fan of Beane and hope that he’s our GM for the next 20+ years…..but show me the baby god dammit!
  6. The thought that Beane would build long term at this point, is far fetched imo. If we don’t win a SB in the next 2-3 years, there’s a good chance he won’t be around. If he wins a Super Bowl in the next 2 years, he’s bought himself another 4-5 years minimum imo. Josh Allen in his prime. Aging stars under contract that are still quite good. If we don’t go for it now, signing von and all those restructures were a complete waste
  7. I just don’t understand the extreme exaggeration and watch who you call lil, bro 😘
  8. I’d be very happy with Devon Witherspoon @ 27- Gonzalez, Branch and Porter in rd 2. Banks in rd 3. We won’t have to worry about that happening though. but we do have to worry about taking somebody other than those 5 in the first 3 rds
  9. Give me Devon Witherspoon @ 27!! never happen. Stud
  10. Yeah I agree. That’s why I think getting the best pass blocker in the draft makes more sense than anything. I think Hyatt is really hit or miss. While harrison isn’t a sure thing, I think , at worst, he’s an average pass blocker…. Which is 100x better than Spencer Brown. There’s still hope for brown…. But I think going with brown and quess will end our season prematurely and is a really stupid move.
  11. I hate this thread now 😔
  12. Good. He’s the worst in coverage nowadays
  13. Mentor = teacher. Groot (and any athlete) can benefit from multiple teachers. I don’t see why anyone would have a problem with this. Especially a fan.
  14. @GunnerBill I noticed you chose Hyatt- just wondering the pros you see in Hyatt. Speed, not a midget. What else?
  15. I need to see Hyatt run more routes for me to be happy with him. I’d rather take Zay at this point. I love what Hyatt brings to the table (Speed and not a midget), but he needs to show his ability to run routes. I thought Will Fuller was a much more complete WR than Hyatt….and Fuller was just a deep threat. I see Hyatt as deep threat only at this point.
  16. yeah, JSN, Addison and Johnston are my top choices (even if we land Hopkins), but I think all 3 will be off the board. I’d be happy with Darnell wright too.
  17. A week ago I would’ve said Wright. today, I say Harrison. Give me the best pass blocker in the draft
  18. Agree with the top part. the bottom part is crap- I’m probably Jerry’s biggest fanboy on the site and I’ve never said he was dominant. He’s a good pass rusher- much better than anyone we have not named Miller and Rousseau. Not dominant. Good. who has said he’s dominant? Or are you exaggerating?
  19. Been hoping to snag him for years.
  20. Ok, then we aren’t talking about a duo. We’re talking about a threesome
  21. Exciting= Tyreek hill. I think Hill and Kelce and Hill and Waddle are more exciting.
