I didn’t read the thread. I just feel that tipster generally just speaks his mind, even if he knows his take is going to get blasted. He usually takes it like a man and doesn’t disrespect. that said, I haven’t read anything in between the first and last page.

While I like the Sherfield addition, I really like the Harty addition. It’s a gamble as he hasn’t been able to stay healthy, but as long as he’s healthy and available for the playoffs, I think he can do some damage. Feels like a 50/50 chance
-
I’ve said my peace on all of this. Replying is a monumental waste of my time and yours if you were to read it. we’ll just have to wait and see. I think our passing game is going to be much improved and adding pieces like Harty and Sherfield will help as they are both upgrades over the incumbents that we let loose, Mckenzie and Kumerow. You disagree. agree to disagree.

Cool bro! Glad you feel this way. It makes me feel even better about his signing
-
If he’s “all that”? Wth are you talking about? I’m not saying he’s a great- I’m saying he’s a definite upgrade over Kumerow. If he’s so bad, how did he beat out 8M aav investment Cedrick Wilson for the slot? He played 57% of the dolphins offensive snaps. I don’t think he’ll get that many with us, but he’s surely an upgrade and can wear many hats between outside flex, slot flex and all the ST units. thanks for pointing out 2 lame stats that aren’t even listed on pro football reference. TD rate? 3rd down conversion rate? Come on man. Kumerow has 46 targets and 19 1st downs. 119 and 42 for Sherfield. slightly higher rate…. Based on his whopping 46 targets. Kumerow is so good that he has 14 targets in the last 3 years. No TDs in the last 2. Sherfield had more targets last season than Kumerow does in his career. I’ve said my peace multiple times on this subject and stand by it. Sherfield is a nice upgrade over Kumerow. We shall wait and see. Care to place a wager on who has a more successful career from here on out?

Time will tell if we’ve upgraded or not. We may not have added the big name WR everyone was hoping for but I think our passing game (and run game) have gotten better. Possibly much better. If the topic is relegated to have we upgraded each individual WR position, I can understand people wanting to see the baby before believing we’ve improved. It’s my belief that we have upgraded the position in the passing game and well as on ST. Kumerow isn’t nearly the receiver Sherfield is imo. I’ve been a Harty fan for a few years (thanks to a 15 team fantasy dynasty league). I was a big Mckenzie fan too….. until this year. He just wasn’t what he needed to be. He regressed imo. Harty may not stay healthy…. But if he does, I think he’s a tremendous weapon and can take any play to the house. Both Harty and Sherfield have outside/slot flex. Dirty and Kumerow had zero flex. Shakir should be better with a year under his belt. Kincaid is a TE, but he’ll also be our best slot weapon and will playing a lot of WR. I consider his to be an addition to our WR unit as well as TE. He’s going to wear many hats on O. I have no clue about Shorter, but for a 5th rd pick, he’s the kind of guy I’d like to gamble on and try and develop. I feel that we added a lot of size, rac ability, versatility, run blocking, big play potential and ST ability our receiving unit while not sacrificing any speed. jmo

Duly noted! Credit to Shaw! I didn’t read any of the thread. This doesn’t interest me in the least. Like you said, no one knows anything so the dialog in the chat is likely just people hating on my boy @Tipster19 and I ain’t down with that.

Dam @Tipster19!!! You’ve outdone yourself with this thread!! Well done!! that said, I haven’t read anything since page 1. From the looks of page 12, this thread sucks but is also awesome at the same time. can I get a thread recap anyone?

Bills RB Latavius Murray to build community center near Syracuse
NewEra replied to WhoTom's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear ya. When we signed him, I figured he’d end up like Duke did last year. The guaranteed money is much different though. 377k compared to 800k. That much gtd for a backup RB could actually prove to your point though. We may have gtd him that much money along with a wink and a nod that he rejects offers from other teams we want him as our 4th RB…. Only he’s on the ps. I would prefer that to be the case as it would allow us another roster spot for a young player that could be poached from the PS. -

Maybe…. Solid thought, but I just don’t see him turning down a chance to play and get paid even more. Nfl RBs get the $ shaft. Intentionally giving himself the $ shaft while also keeping himself off an nfl roster and getting snaps is moronic imo. Especially at his age. He’s made just under 20M in 10 seasons before taxes and fees. He looked pretty good last year. Sitting on the PS the entire year could ruin any chance of playing for another team next season. While playing well could get him another mill. it’ll be interesting to see how they handle this given the 800k guaranteed -

We guaranteed him $800k. Not a lot of money, but I think they really want him as Harris insurance and would rather not risk losing him. I think he’s going to be on the roster and inactive most weeks. -
4 Detroit Lions suspended for gambling violations
NewEra replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
They need to be beyond strict regarding betting on NFL games….. but players not being able to place a bet on non NFL games while in a team Facility is beyond stupid. Anyone know what this rule is in place for? What does it protect? -
Solid WR5. Plays ST, slot, outside, can block. Not sure why anyone would have an issue with this addition tbh.

Yeah I remember looking up that stat last September. I’m cool with September on Thursday, Sunday or Monday night. It’s not like this isn’t a big time matchup that the world wouldn’t want to see. Even a 4pm game would. The September 1pm games in Miami are the only games I have a real problem with

Ah my bad. I agree
-
For the love of god!!!! NO MORE THANKSGIVING GAMES!!! Please!! I hope not. Not the ideal situation. Prefer to get something on tape with Payton running the O before having to play them.

No mention of the 4 other that’s will definitely be in the HoF by them. Plus others are looking like they may as well. Gronk Kelce Gates witten maybe Andrews. Maybe ertz. Maybe Kittle. Maybe Christianson. Maybe olsen (doubtful). Maybe Pitts. so no, he won’t have to be among the top 10 in the position ever to make the HoF. He has a guy that will be among the best QBs ever throwing him passes for 10+ years. Again….. upside. Learn the definition

Yup. Ditalini makes for a nice spoonful. Problem being, if you’re drunk, you can smash the whole bowl in under 1 minute easy. Then it’s gone and you’re left sad and wanting more 🤣 I make that rice dish once a week. My Elderly mother moved in with my wife and I and is very particular about her food. When we make something I know she won’t eat- I throw beef, onions and rice together with a touch of beef bouillon to flavor it up.
-
That’s a given

This place just gets better and better by the minute!!! 🤣 you CAN’T make this stuff up.

Eh regarding the bolded- I acknowledge what it can potentially do to you. I believe that’s the underlined is a generalized blanket statement that doesn’t apply to everyone. Sex with a certain individual may start off as entertainment and not have any meaning and then evolve into something much, much more. Not everyone is built the same. If you think that woman or men with “x” amount of sexual partners at the age of 25 aren’t “marriage material” you are most definitely ignorant. There isn’t a better word for it.
-
To each is their own. If that’s their preference, so be it. It’s their right to wallow in their ignorance.

Apparently I’m crazy John.
