  1. I don’t have to keep anything in mind. Douglas does. All I said was that I believe that they plan on keeping Williams. I agree they’re in a terrible cap position going forward and are def all in the next 2 years. They’ll be paying rodgers cap hit over the next 5 years. I don’t think they’re the rams- they are set up much better for the future. They’ll be in cap hell throughout- but they can navigate it to be competing for the next 5 years as long as they replace AR properly. They have superstars and core players (gardner- Wilson- Breece- Clemons- Johnson) that will be getting paid on their rookie contracts for the next 3+ years. All of the rams superstars were getting paid big bucks and on their 2nd and 3rd contract.
  2. Oh I know they’re in a bad spot. I also know that teams can kick as much money as they want and long as they kick it down the road. How much and how far do they want to kick it is the question. But they can sign him. Make no mistake about it I just don’t see them getting rid of the such and impact defensive lineman.
  3. Just like every contender that pays their QB. It’ll be a challenge for sure but definitely possible. if they don’t sign him, good. Hopefully an NFC team will pay him. He just strikes me as a guy that Saleh needs and wants for his defense
  4. Depends how Ed plays in 2023. Based on last season play- I think 12-16M I expect him to play better this year and likely play himself out of Buffalo
  5. I think they’ll get a deal done. I’m thinking he’ll get 25/26m.
  6. You’re using size to prove your point? 🤣 🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s the skillset that determines whether or not someone is an effect slot. Your takes in this thread are really strange. Again….. size doesn’t = skillset. Skillset is what determines if a player can be effective in the slot….. not size. Tremaine Edmunds - 6’5 250- we should’ve been using him In the slot all along. while knox is a very good athlete, his nuanced route running and start and stop ability is lacking. His movement skills are nowhere near Kincaids. They are much different movers
  7. Did they ask the people on broadway in Nashville? If they did…. There’s a great chance that they knew what the logo of their local nfl team. It’s everywhere.
  8. It’s not all Josh allen. mostly. Then why is the browns defense crap every year while the Bills. More talent…. Yet their results on D suck. Meanwhile the bills have a top 1-5 d routinely, the Browns are usually in the bottom 1/3 of the league. I think the Bills have had more talent on D as well as better coaching. The browns have had a beast OL and decent weapons…. I’d take the Bills WR unit and TE unit over Clevelands. I’d take the browns RB. Imo, the browns only advantages are the OL, RB and having Myles Garrett.
  9. I think “must” is a terrible word to use in this case. I think we’re set @ RB ILB would be nice, but I don’t think it’s in our plans unless a vet will take the minimum OT should be addressed….. but the FO sadly disagree. Maybe one of our 11 IOL can swing outside. DT- we have 5 solid DTs. We don’t have room on the roster for another unless we cut settle or trade Ed. I hope we keep Ee at this point. He should play like his hair is on fire this season
  10. Taron says no
  11. I agree with you….but that’s just sports. but Jerry Rice’s career would’ve been a whole lot different if he was drafted by the Bucs instead of the niners. Same can be said for many HoF pass catchers that we’re catching passes from HoFers. Kelce is special.
  12. He’s a camp body with depth player upside imo. Great guy to bring in. Can’t hurt
  13. Great point. i think it was a bit of both and probably more Josh wanting the big play than Dorsey. Ultimately, it’s Dorsey’s offense and it’s his responsibility to make sure that his QB runs what he likes. X’s and O’s are the primary concern of the coordinators but we all know there’s more to that job than just calling plays. like you said, he was too predictable and one dimensional. I don’t think Josh would be in position to take the lower percentage deep ball nearly as much as he was, if our offensive system was more efficient. Partly on Josh. Partly on Dorsey.
  14. I agree- the D was an issue. Mainly due to injuries. The O wasn’t missing a handful of their best players. Allen also didn’t look right before the injury. He was off the entire 2nd half of the packers game and the entire Jets game (he got hurt late in that game). I’m definitely not putting everything on Dorsey…. I just don’t trust him yet. I’m not sold. I wasn’t happy with the way he used some of our players- Knox and Cook to name 2. I was hoping he’d get cook more involved in the pass game. That’s why we drafted him. To be fair, Cook failed as a receiver early on, but I thought that would encourage Dorsey to get him on track. Knox….. he was criminally underutilized imo. He’s a dam good we’ll rounded TE that’s relegated to being a red zone threat who’s forgotten the other 80 yards of the field while he blocks. Which is partly on Beane for putting Spencer brown out there as our only RT.
  15. And an OC that ran an offense with no identity. Why’d we draft a James Cook? Why’d we trade for Hines? Why’d we pay Dawson Knox 13M a year? Dorsey failed to take anything off of Josh's plate. He was supposed to alleviate some of the pressure. Instead, we saw him take on more of the load that ever. With a partially torn UCL. Dorsey is the OC of an established all time QB/WR combos. Of course they’re going to score points during the regular season. They did that without an identity other than- Josh doing everything. That said- I’m not saying he’s bad, I’m just not going to give him another year if our offense resembles what we saw last year. Good….. but it should be amazing. now he has Kincaid. My #1 draft crush. A do it all Swiss Army knife at his disposal. Hopefully he uses him properly
  16. Stats. Everyone loves to talk about the stats. Look at the stats for the first half of the season. Look at the stats for the 2nd half. Looks at the stats in the playoffs. Look at the stats for the Cinci game. you have eyes. I have eyes. My eyes tell me that our offense wasn’t nearly as good down the stretch. Partly due to Josh’s injuries. No doubt. There’s a reason that the Bills were the NFL darlings last offseason and the SB bowl favorite. It wasn’t because of our defense. It was because everyone remembered Josh Allen unleashing in the playoffs last season. Our offense wasn’t that last year. You know it. I know it Everyone knows it. yet you got it. Talk about all the stats you want. Our offense was less than what we had hoped for last season. Partly due to Ken Dorsey
  17. Depends on what giving him a pass entails before I’d give him one. If his pass is getting another season, fine. If his pass is keeping him for another season if we end this season in similar fashion. Hellllll naw. He was a OC for the SB favorite and he flopped when we needed him most (calling plays with the same OL all year). I definitely take into consideration that he was a rookie, but he got taken to the woodshed by Anarumo. He better not have another playoff performance like that or he should be fired imo.
  18. Can’t teach those hips. I bet you’re salivating at the thought of what he can do with them! You had me so excited….. and then you had to mention Dorsey! 🤣
  19. i don’t agree with the whole stats side of many arguments. Everyone has their own way of putting together their lists. I put mine together using the eye test, which certainly has its flaws. It’s very easy to find error in my judgement in many cases, but that’s just how I see things. Is Jason Witten better than Kelce? I don’t think so. He certainly has better stats. Is emmitt smith better than OJ? Steve Smith better than Julio Jones? So many arguments can be made where the superior player has lesser stats.
  20. I agree that he’s not head and shoulders above Gates but he’s clearly a tier above imo. I don’t consider Gates in competition for the best tight end ever. Those that are in that conversation, imo, are a tier above. Gronk, Gonzo and Kelce are my goat candidates. I can’t comment on Ditka because I’m too young. Winslow, imo, was the best prior to the new breeds. Wittens stats get him in tier 2. Gates might be the best of tier 2. He also might not. jmo
  21. And Mark Clayton has 10 more TDs than James Lofton. 16 more than Andre Johnson. Jimmy Graham has 16 more TDs than Kelce. Clayton was clearly inferior to both players. Gates - 236 games 11,800 yards Kelce - 144 games. 10.300 yards 92 more games- 5.75 more seasons worth of games. Just pointing out the difference in games played. Gates has less yards than Derrick Mason…. And 6 more games played. again- not taking away from Gates- playing in that many games is a tremendous feat in itself.
  22. Agreed- Kelce >> Gates. taking nothing away from Gates, but I’d take Kelce over Gates and wouldn’t think twice. Easy decision imo
  23. I think he’s a Dion Dawkins type impact at OG. Good, but not great. Pro bowls, but never an all pro. I just hope that he can excel at making sure we get our 3rd and 4th and shorts
  24. A poster on the message board giving their opinion. another poster on the message boards not to give their opinions, but to wait. as if a poster on a message board could anoint him…. Or have any sort of impact on the future
