  1. All the credit to Spags. He’s such a great DC. He seems to always finds a way to get pressure. Especially on 3rd down
  2. I agree to an extent. I don’t think he’s a “great” back when the play-call is for him to run outside. Good sounds about right. I think one of the key traits of being a great outside runner is the ability to know “when to bust it outside”. And that’s where I think James excels. Seems to me that he has superb feel on when to bust it outside. As if he knows whether or not he’s going to be able get the corner.
  3. Off topic- but unworthy of its own thread. Joey Bosa was placed on IR with a sprained foot. Eligible to return vs us, meanwhile 3 of the 4 games he’s definitely out will be played against playoff contenders, Ravens, Broncos and Raiders.
  4. I can see that comparison. Cook has a little more power imo, but the burst and make you miss ability is similar
  5. NO WAY!! SPENCER BROWN SUCKS!!!! kidding- big up to 79. He still has some terrible moments but he’s cut them down big time and has made some stellar blocks. Dion and McGovern have been rock solid on the left while Morse has been a solid vet to pair with the big rook. Kromer has done a solid job. Let’s appreciate them now and pray that we can continue to praise them in the next 4 weeks. Philly, KC then Dallas. Get after it bigs Rasul to the rescue!! You KNOW he has this game scheduled.
  6. 🙄 I believe you will be very disappointed until either Cook, Murray or Johnson get injured.
  7. Just for some perspective. While he’s 3rd in rushing yards Cook is currently 9th in rushing yards per game among RBs with a minimum of 8 games played. 11th among RBs with at least 7 games played. He hasn’t had a bye and hasn’t missed a game. There aren’t any RBs with a higher ypg that have played in 11 games like Cook has. not coming down on him, he’s a stud. Just pointing out how he’s come to be the 3rd leading rusher.
  8. I think that’s coming, but never with that type of usage rate. But definitely used more in the pass game than they have in his two years so far. Brady’s use of motion really opened things up
  9. Cool. Thanks….
  10. I don’t remember one ever being created, so I’d like to show him some love and appreciation. He’s proving doubters wrong. Some like to portray him as a purely finesse RB that can’t move the chains or take on contact. That’s pure bs. He’s been delivering the hammers to mix with his elusiveness. Good runner up the middle. Great runner to the outside. Tremendous hands for a RB. Similarly tremendous route running for a RB. Over the previous 5 seasons how many times have see our RB decide to bounce to the outside and run step for step with the LB or DE only to get dragged down? It seems like Cook is able to get the corner and head upfield every time he decides to bounce it outside. His short area quickness and acceleration to top speed is a thing of beauty. Ken Dorsey was a failure at utilizing his skill set. He should be a focal point of this offense as opposed to being an accent. Running the ball will be big test vs that Philly front 4 but I expect them to utilize him a lot more in the short passing game next week, negating their monsters in the middle. Put their LBs and S to work. If Brady can get the most out of his talents the rest of the way, we could be looking at a special end to the season Let’s hope that McD doesn’t doghouse him into wanting out. He’s here for 2 more years after this and we may not be able to pay him when his contract is up. Let’s appreciate this special talent while we have him.
  11. I’ve stood by he needs to win at least 1 playoff win to keep his job. Maybe even 2, depending how the last game turns out. We can’t continue to regress.
  12. I agree. I’d try and do why the jets did as well. And if KC does something’s that can add to the blueprint, even better. I just don’t see us in any type of competition with KC atm with concerns to us making that playoffs other than our meeting in December. I hope they beat the raiders, bengals and chargers. Sucks that they don’t play any of the more formidable playoff contenders.
  13. To your first point- right- obviously. That doesn’t really have anything to do with my statement. To your second point- could go either way. If KC can provide us with some new insight on how to beat them, I’d rather that the case. But if they don’t provide us any good info, I’d rather KC lose big!
  14. They will eventually elevate him if a RB gets hurt. I highly doubt they roster 4 RBs or cut Ty Johnson.
  15. He would suck but he engineered Gw drives against us in 2 of the last 3 games. Yesterday was his worst game I can remember by far. No shock that it was behind an OL of depth players. Dude never had a chance all day
  16. I told you so. Keep it up and we win our SB! No Gabe Davis = win. Kingcaid and Diggs were 1 and 2 in targets and catches. Cook was a beast. Shakir actually making a play Gabe Davis never could’ve made.
  17. I don’t root for injuries but when they happen, I don’t feel bad. It’s a huge part of the game. Injuries have ruined our seasons in the past. If injuries ruin other teams seasons, good. To beat a dead horse, winning SBs requires a lot of luck. If other teams having injuries is part of our luck, I’ll take all the luck we can get
  18. My take: Lenny is a PS player and will be all season unless someone gets hurt
  19. For sure. to be fair to the jets QB, their OL IS ravaged by injuries is such a terrible way. Tippman is really the only starter worthy player on their OL rn.
  20. I’d go with Ty tbh. He’s more versatile. He doesn’t have the same strength behind his hammer as Harris does, but he’s not far behind and has more juice imo. More useful in the pass game as well. that’s said- just give James Cook the dam ball!!!
  21. That would be best case scenario for sure!
  22. we want the chiefs to have success tonight so they can possibly expose a weakness in Philly that we can use to help us win next week. The only things that matters is the Bills winning games and the teams competing for the AFCE and WC to lose games. KC winning or losing games is irrelevant to our playoff push We aren’t competing with the chiefs for playoff position. They will win their division and will have a better record than us regardless of this game imo. The only thing that matters to us is winning every game. If KC can show us some concepts that will help us beat Philly, that’s more useful than KC getting beaten and showing us nothing on how to beat them.
  23. I really think Benford and Douglas will be our starting corners next season and possibly longer (if we extend Douglas)
  24. I was off on the time line- just makes my bet beat even worse. 12:53 of the 2nd qtr- -1 yard catch. He got blasted. He had 42 yards at that point and was his 5th catch of the day. He had one more after that for 4 yards.
  25. Some contenders suffered some worse luck than us. I ain’t sad about it. Just keep the bad kick away from us and win some games. We can make a run. Next week will tell us how serious of a team we are
