“A reach” is subjective on who you talk to. I thought he was considered a reach 💯 I was furious with the pick. The only reason I was somewhat on board with the pick was I because I was hoping we’d start being more multiple on defense and mix in more man and press. He was coming off a poor season at Florida in which he was very handsy and was poor in run support.

The Knox injury unfortunately has changed this offense for the better

I agree with the play calling- I wasn’t a fan of it in the 4th either. I was a fan the majority of the game. Spreading the ball out in the pass game. Shakir 6 (6)- 92 Davis 9 (12)- 87-1 Diggs 9 (12)- 70 Kincaid 5 (7)- 65- 1 thats the offense we’ve been waiting for (I have anyway). Would’ve liked to see Cook a few more targets in the pass game but overall, I think we should be happy. We’ve gotten off to horrible first halves the last few weeks. Our offense dictated the game in the first half and was clicking. The cohesiveness we haven’t seen since the Miami game was there. -
A couple firsts tonight! -Kincaids first TD (.5 yard from 2 TDs and a tipped pass away from 3) -me applauding you for not being “that guy”. 👍🏻

Here’s the question: what’s the downside of doing this? Regarding the game- there is no downside. Zero. Every time we DON’T do this is a wasted opportunity. Sure, the chances are slim….but the chances are ZERO if we just line up and punt. Slim chance > zero chance. This also could help us convert a first in future if/when we do decide to go for it. Every team has to realize by now that McD has a tendency to try and draw offside more than most teams. Realizing this could eventually backfire if/when we actually do go for it as fans, the downside is….it’s 2023 and everyone is impatient. We have to wait an extra minute or so til we punt.

Sounds a lot like Mahomes and the KC offense last season. Kc having Reid rather than Dorsey is a major advantage, but you have to BE ABLE to take what the D gives you. That’s what teams gave KC all last season and they took it all the way to a championship. Dorsey just needs to figure some things out and our OL has to continue to play like they did tonight. -

Like everything else in the world…. Context matters. When were the points scored? What was the score when we punted? 25 1st downs. 7/13 on 3rd. Our top 4 pass catchers all had very good games. Our RB1 averaged 4.8 ypc and looked pretty darn good (again). Our interception was tipped up and caught by a DT. The Bucs had one legit scoring drive and it was aided by 2 4th down penalties, a push off (the TD to evans would’ve hit Benford in the back of head if he wasn’t pushed) and a tipped pass for lucky 2 pt conversion. We didn’t finish drives in the 2nd half because our D was holding their O them in check and punting > possibly gaining their O a short field. And Martin was having a helluva game -

Not scoring the final few drives sucks for sure but McD played it according to the context of the game. Punting on 4th and 2’s that we’ve seen him go for time after time in recent years…..we were up 2 scores and our defense was stopping their offense. Other than Josh gifting them a TD on that int, their offense couldn’t do much. I think we would’ve gone for it and likely succeeded if we went for them and also scored more points. Our offense looked very good and we should all be very happy with their performance tonight. -

Shakir in the slot and Kincaid TE1. >>>>> Kincaid in the slot and Knox TE1 Shakir >>>>> knox in the passing game. It’s not even close. -
4 targets he hasn’t caught all season 2 tipped at the LOS by DL 1 broken up by DB before it got to him 1 in the end zone thrown into double coverage and hit immediately on an off target pass throw him the ball. Please You’d be happy if he were top 10? Sheeesh. If he only makes the top 10, we need new a new OC
-
He’s still working his way back to 💯…… of course he doesn’t look 💯 think big picture……not week 8
-
Go for it. Boooooooooo!! just throw it to Kincaid
-
I’m not a Dorsey guy, but he’s our OC this season. All season. There will be no change. Get behind him and hope he can contribute to tinker and improve. I love our offense with shakir in the slot and Kincaid TE1. I think we’re so much more dynamic. Especially with cook in the backfield. get it together Ken. We can bring one home

Dorsey calling a good game so far. Other than that 2nd and 10 shotgun run. Was hoping Josh would check out of that play. but credit to Dorsey. Gabe playing a helluva game doing some things we don’t associate him with. Namely rac.

Yeah seems like he has a sprained shoulder. Isn’t that was reported? Or no?

Great time out by mcdermott. Should’ve been earlier but once he saw the Fg unit come out he made the right call

Bills now Vegas betting favorites to land Derrick Henry
NewEra replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah. He can play 3-4 DE, some 4-3 DE and 3 tech. He’s 6’5 and weighs 265. We have plenty of 3 techs. We need a replacement for Daquan imo. Autry is a helluva player but I don’t think he does much except limit the snaps of AJ and Shaq. We already have a DE to play 3 tech in Rousseau. agree to disagree I don’t think there’s any chance we trade for Henry. -

Another DE? How so? we need DT, LB, CB, WR, OT -
Beane reportedly looking for LB help (possible rumor)
NewEra replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are no great teams this year Imo. If we can get Milano and daquan back for the playoffs (assuming we make the playoffs), make a trade for a solid contributor and Dorsey/Allen figure some things out, we have a fine chance. It’s October……. People always freak out in October- for better or for worse. Chill -
If Taron is out, I’ll be hammering the Bucs +9.5

It should be easily replaceable- but there are going to be several 3rd down in every game going forward. I’d expect dorian or Dodson to be the opposing OCs target in most of those cases. Maybe they’ll do well. Maybe they’ll look like elam vs Ridley.
