  1. Yeah we think it’s a coincidence that he hired Joshs QB coach who was always the heir apparent to Daboll…..
  2. He was appointed to be a human shield….. you’ve said some stupid things, but never something this stupid. He didn’t want to hire a good OC that could help him win a SB which could have given him a lifetime contract….. he wanted to hire a lesser OC so he could fire him and keep his job for an extra season or 2. Got it. 👌
  3. Consider the source
  4. Agreed 💯 He is just not the same. Might never be. I’m very happy Dorsey was finally sacked but Brady is the guy with qb17 24/7. Josh has only gotten worse, imo, since Brady was hired. His fire looks to be on its last twig.
  5. Yeah it’s possible. Toughest part seems to be getting Josh to being Josh.
  6. Same. Let it go. Seems like we made a mistake keeping mcdermott and Dorsey. I think the week 1 D would’ve been good enough to get us in the playoffs, but the injuries prevented that. Then McD and co compounded the sitch by allowing Josh to get to this point. Maybe it’s partially on the shoulder injury? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but they’ve got a couple weeks to figure it out.
  7. We need to figure out how to get Josh back in the groove
  8. Cook goes to the doghouse and the offense dies
  9. He was an UFA. He was gtd 2.5m. Did you want to pay him that to be a compliment to coolk……knowing he’s a terrible compliment to cook….. he’s a decent back and he hasn’t done anything all season. Moving on from him was imminent. it’s been long enough since that Miami beatdown to show face I see
  10. Yeah they are. I’m not saying they’re bad, but I don’t think I’d qualify them as “good” this season. Jmo and look ahead to the rest of the season…..much of the same. Dallas and NO would be the only defenses I’d consider good
  11. He’s an idiot. Decent player though. I’m thinking Cinci, KC, Cleveland or Miami
  12. True. He’s only played 2 good defenses all season imo, KC and Baltimore. Scored 21 vs KC without Chris jones and got shut down by Baltimore. I enjoy his play design and most results, but we also don’t have his OL, so that could change things drastically
  13. I’m not implying that at all. Regarding the following paragraph ….. what they have been doing so far hasn’t been working. You’re correct. Then you go on to imply that they won’t figure it out because they haven’t yet. That very well may be the case. It may not. We don’t know what it’s going to take to get this right….but I’m confidant that they will give it their best try. That’s all we have right now.
  14. I hear ya. I love watching his offense for the most part. Just not a fan of prematurely putting the current staff to rest before the season is over. Mcdermott has earned enough of my trust to give him til the end of the season to see if he can right this ship.
  15. Because we don’t know if Dorsey is going to figure this out. This season isn’t over. What this thread does, is insinuate that this team has zero shot to win this year. Because if we did win this year, we most certainly wouldn’t be hiring Ben Johnson. The thread puts Dorsey in the grave prematurely imo. don’t get me wrong…..I think there’s a better than 50% chance Dorsey gets the axe. McD could suffer the same fate due to choosing Dorsey. Which would make Ben Johnson a serious candidate and my first choice to run the show…..but I thought “fans” were supposed to back the current team. We wait all offseason for this moment in time….and we’re talking about what will happen when this team fails.
  16. I agree, we need an improved offense. But can Ben Johnson the OC run his offense while also being a good HC? That’s the 2nd question. Some one will find out next season. The first question is: Will Ken Dorsey figure out how to turn this O around? If he does, Ben Johnson won’t be a consideration in Buffalo because it’ll be McD and Dorsey once again. Be a fan of this team. Focus on the task at hand. Winning this season. or give up and focus on next year. 💩
  17. No, we just need to improve. We already know that our season is over if we continue to play like this.
  18. I hear ya. Cicero he is not! 🤣 I just didn’t appreciate his choice of words
  19. Ok, so the difference is “knowing”. Imo, in most cases when teams are trying to fight the funk, they don’t know exactly how to fix it. They work at it. We obviously don’t “know” yet, so the only thing we can do is work hard and try and figure it out. Put the work in in the film room and practice field- develop ideas and out them into action. Throw them against the wall and see if it sticks. I don’t consider that a loser mentality. It sounds very similar to what your suggesting. In your eyes, Regarding the bolded, they should try what? What they did on the first drive vs Cinci? Pass every play? I bet that they’ll be trying stuff they think will work. Problem is, they just don’t “know” yet. All they can do is work hard and hope they figure it out. “Loser mentality” “The only thing on my mind is getting that incentive”. I love Ed. Huge supporter. I didn’t like that answer either. The only thing on his mind is reaching his incentive. Poor choice of words imo
  20. A season is made up of many chapters. Lots of “good teams” suffer through peaks and valleys throughout a campaign. Some suffer through more than others. If putting in the hard work with hope to find out what works best is a losers mentality, what is a winning mentality? what does this team need to do to not be a loser? Or is it just inevitable? I believe this is what every team does. In many cases “finding out what works best” is something more specific…..I’m making a generalization. For us- we need to figure out how to become more consistent and score more points offensively. On defense, we have to get healthy and hope von comes around. If Von comes around and Ed, Rousseau and the DBs get healthy we can get back to being a top 10 D. Plus a consistent offense that scores points and a SB is within our grasp. I don’t believe that is so far fetched. But it doesn’t happen without hard work and effort to figure it out. He’ll probably never start for this team
  21. 💯 👍🏻
  22. I don’t think there is a switch. I think that insinuates that we’ve already figured it out, we just have to apply it I don’t think that they have figured it out. There is no switch to flip. Just put in the hard work and hope to find gold. They better find it soon
  23. Attention There aren’t any great teams this year Imo. Get hot and win yourself a SB. The offense can be good enough to carry our injury ravaged defense. They just need to figure out how to become that good.
  24. Brett explained the EPA- one big play with a long field to go = high epa. The following 3 and out a much lower effect on the EPA meaning the failed drive is still +2.5 epa even though the drive was a failure. Lots of drives starting deep in our own territory then some big plays followed by 💩 and a punt = positive EPA…..when it’s actually 💩
