  1. I thought Smoot be a good UFA signing a few years ago. He's a good rotational guy assuming he's healthy. As he had 5.0 sacks for four straight seasons.
  2. Until Miami can beat winning teams on a regular basis they won't be hosting a playoff game anytime soon.
  3. The issue on this is outside of Hollins and Isabella none of these guys are going to be on ST and that's what you ask your back end guys to do.
  4. Yet we also signed Cephus who another "bigger slow" WR and same could be said if Coleman and Shorter who we've brought in recently. Not sure if it's the GM/scout/OC/WR coach or starting QB that asked for these but seems a bit of a pattern to be more than just a coincidence.
  5. Insert former Panther rage rant here. *Kidding* l'm okay with this as nothing wrong with vet competition.
  6. Basically it's someone that can not take care of themselves due to limited physical or mental/cognitive ability. Thus allowing a caretaker to have the legal right to attend to said matters. The more and more I read of Kim's condition the more I am reminded of my own mother who suffered a stroke in October of 2022. While she can talk and walk she has very poor memory and have had to supply her meals on wheels and an assistant to help her keep her house clean/do laundry etc. I'm also to pay all her bills for her. I really want to put her an assistant care facility as it help more with medical appointments etc. yet my mother is old fashioned and think that they're going to take her house etc from her and goes into a rage every time I mention it.
  7. I thought this was about Tony, click bait!!!
  8. I'm just curious what team in the division has improved enough to beat us out? I can guess the Jets as assume Rodgers won't miss the whole season again but we never did see what he could really do with their offense.
  9. We've brought back guys like Shaq Lawson, Jordan Phillips, AJ Klein even Josh Norman, John Brown and Cole Beasley. I have no issues bringing back Zay Jones as he's a proven NFL WR.
  10. Find on May 5th on Netflix when the Roast of Tom Brady airs...https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10119118-tom-brady-to-be-roasted-by-randy-moss-gronk-bledsoe-edelman-for-netflix-special
  11. I'd definitely bring him back, his 2nd best season ever was in Josh's rookie year. To me he's affordable depth/starting material if needed type. The only draw back is he does play STs.
  12. He's 28 and honestly while better than what we have, the question is at what cost? If it's a 2nd Round pick sure, if it's more than I have reservations. I also have questions since he really not been as good as he was in 2020 so might be overpaid and as tight we been against the cap perhaps it isn't the wisest of moves.
  13. Josh's strength is his ability to get the ball to WRs quickly. In part due his arm strength, Tom Brady did this with pre snap reads. Josh does to an extent but don't think he sees it same way Tom did. As how many times have we seen Josh miss the open guy and forcing a ball into a tight window (see 2nd down throw to Shakir vs Diggs). That's why we've seen teams play more complex zones vs us which confuses John and causes him to go into hero mode. Toss in playing man on man can spell disaster if you don't cover a guy or you leave Josh a lane to run.
  14. Bombs away isn't consistent. Yes, Allen can throw it 65 yards down field but to ask a WR to get open on that route or time things perfectly is no easy task as we saw with Diggs' playoff drop. Instead you play small ball to keep moving down field until get a TD or hopefully get a FG aka put points on the board. Sure you can throw a deep pass every so often to take a chance and/or keep the defense honest but to think you're going to hit one with any form of consistency is just foolish. I'll admit Coleman wasn't in my short list of WRs I wanted to us to draft. Yet I've been wrong before as I admit I never expected Josh Allen to be a top 5 NFL QB and even muttered Wrong Josh when he was drafted because watching the clips in college he wasn't always taking the way throw to move the chains and seemed like a guy who threw it long or a ball that most of the time wouldn't get completed. The more you watch the more you realize the best way to beat an opponent is don't beat yourself. As most games nowadays are won and loss by a handful of plays.
  15. Baltimore's WR room isn't great, Lions outside Brown not great. Green Bay has a collection but no elite guys. Yet these teams made the playoffs in 2023.
  16. Shhhh his 40 yard dash and gambling past are what define him not his play on the field.
  17. My point being free agency affects how you draft.
  18. I'll be honest I'm not opposed to it, he's proven he can play in this league. He's still young. Ideally he's a outside depth piece.
  19. I'm hoping he does too. Yet I think people don't realize just how good he was last season.
  20. But he added guys in UFA that started in Brown, Beasley and Sanders.
