  1. For Harris it has been an issue as a pro. I think he had one healthy year in NE and that’s it. That said I wish the Pats had resigned him because he was a very good complimentary RB to Stevenson.
  2. Very True. As for this who knows what it was. Did someone practice at Gillette when they were not suppose to? Or something more serious? No one knows.. my GUESS is a group practiced at Gillette which is a no no now.
  3. You do realize your Special Teams last year won you the Pats game at the end of the year right? Also a bad punter and or kick off specialist can lose you a game as well. Special teams are still important.
  4. Not shocked they want the Jets to be good. I mean the Jets will mess this up somehow and end up 7-9 or 9-8.. but I understand the NFL wants both NY teams be good it’s a huge market.
  5. You are right he was an icon back then. Doesn’t change the fact he should never ever have gone to the HOF. He was not a great QB and his one SB win was all because of his D. I myself wouldn’t want talk to the man as unlike you I find his ego was a billion times bigger than his talent. I myself would rather meet Hockey players, they don’t have body guard and if you mouth off to them they will beat the crap out of you personally lol.
  6. Ok, they had 3 more 1st downs, and 13 more total yards. AGAIN the D won the game for him. You point to time of possession but failed notice every other state was practically even which means.. OMG the TO made the difference.. The Colts tan for more yards and Namath had 30 more yards passing.. (the total yards effected by the 2 sacks) So it wasn’t Namaths Quarterbacking skills, but rather his D’s ball hawking skills that won that SB. If they didn’t bail him out the final score been 31-7 and Namath would be a trivia question like “who was the scrub aQB who guaranteed victory and got his butt kicked”. Kind of sad that’s the best QB the Jets ever had till they got Rogers this year.
  7. He had the ball back 5 times and that O only scored 16 points!! They got all that time because the D got the turnovers.. they also were lucky that they didn’t change over to Johnny U earlier otherwise they probably lose.
  8. My point was he was SB MVP Twice.. SB 13 and 14 where they scored 35 and 31 points. That usually makes most people say “ok he is good enough be a HOFer”.
  9. I’ll defend Bradshaw in this way. Unlike Namath, whose D won him that one SB. While Bradshaw won 4 and was responsible for a couple of them..
  10. The schedule this year is pretty hard! Eagles, Cowboys, Chiefs,Jets, Chargers and Dolphins are all hard games and that’s almost half the schedule.
  11. Makes sense for Brady I think he is part Owner of the Vegas Aces from WNBA?? Also the fans need get over it. It was a bad rule correctly called.. lol
  12. I must be in the minority, but I find the Ravens to be WAY over rated. Jackson has not played a full season the last 2 years… and how the bleep are the Jets and Phins ahead of the Bills? I mean you could make an argument that the Jets are MAYBE a bit better because of their D and Allen and Rogers are pretty equal. So weird ratings..
  13. That’s good for the Bills get them early before Rogers has rhythm with the receivers..
  14. Speeding is the last straw? Ya he was going very fast but if sexual assault isn’t the last straw how can SPEEDING be?
  15. BB the coach has to do a lot of up coaching to make up for BB the GM. I also believe he is just costing to get to Shula record then he retires then Mayo will be the new HC. (Which I think the league will be fine with. Even though it’s not to the letter of the rules.)
  16. You sound like a Colts fan with P Manning. The fact is if all you need is a FG you get a FG. Also a simple fact Burrow has had more success in 2 full seasons than Allen has in his entire career. That wether fair or not will get him ranked above Allen by most. Also Burrows has beaten both Mahomes and Allen in the playoffs. Why is Mahome stabled higher? Because he has one SB.
  17. Until Allen has the success in the playoffs that Burrows had MOST people will keep him above Allen.. look how he has done his first 2 complete seasons they have gone to the AFCCG and SB. You can argue the refs missed an obvious offside by Aaron Donald who also got the sack. People will also tell you stats don’t show the most important thing.. how well the player does in crunch time, for example Manning always had gassy stats but never ever had the success Brady had in the playoffs.. this said, who cares!? Allen is either 2 or 3. When/if he makes a SB he may be the solid #2 behind Mahomes. (He will have to do a lot to pass Mahomes)
  18. Burrow has better weapons than Allen, but come on man his line has almost gotten him killed every year! That O be downright scary if he had an O line! Coaching is subjective, and everyone thinks their coach is not that good unless he wins the SB. Mahomes, Allen, and Burrows are the top 3 QBs in whatever order you like. Hurt is a one year wonder right now.
  19. Stop listening to delusional Pats fans! IMO O’Brien will hopefully correct what went terribly wrong last year and hopefully a small jump from his rookie year.. (which would be a huge leap.. from 2022 lol) I think he is probably closer to 20 than 29 like this ranking has… putting QBS up that high who haven’t played a down seems silly IMO.
  20. First, Buffalo will not get SB hype this year. I am betting a bunch of talking heads favorite AFV East team is now the Jets w Rogers. I think that be good for the Bills as there be less pressure on them to do well. I see them doing well and advancing to the afc championship game.
  21. Agreed! They were the only 2 I could think of as being considered a “reach”
  22. He was considered a reach for the second round.
  23. How about Patrick Chung, or Kyle Dugger. Both were considered huge reaches when BB drafted them. Chung had a very good career and Dugger is a top Safety.
  24. Serious question marks? Carter, was considered the top talent in the draft. His biggest question mark was poor judgement with the hole drag racing thing. I did hear about the weight but most were saying that wasn’t a big deal as he was going threw the hole drag racing thing. He was a steal at 9! Nolan had a torn peck muscle and at 30 his upside is worth the risk. Again a steal.. neither one are serious question marks IMO. One made a terrible dumb mistake. (One a lot of us have done when we weee young) the other had an injury that modern meds make a lot easier come back from.
  25. I think Rogers has the best RB he has had in a long time. As for the WR/TE they are nice but no Devonte Adams type in that group. I think for Rogers to truly be great he needs sort of what Brady had in TB. I guess we will see this season.. I hope they all stink and the Jets go 8-9 lol.
