  1. I doubt he files a lawsuit against the Bills. NFL contracts are at will and only the guaranteed part is just that guaranteed. I am thinking he is doing all this so he can get another punting job in the NFL.
  2. What’s really annoying is Brady could have had Metcalf his last couple years here.. heck he may have stayed having a top WR like that on the team. (Edelman and Metcalf would been a scary duo with Brady)
  3. That wasn’t his only issue. He gets zero separation on any route and just wasn’t good.
  4. AFC East predictions: Bills win the division and go to the AFCCG. Dolphins and Jets finish 6-11. Rogers retires at the end of the year. Pats finish 10-7 led by Kendrick Bourne break out season of 1400 yards 12 TDs. He then signs in the off season with KC and immediately says how NE isn’t fun. BB responds with a mumble no one understands.
  5. I never understand how the offense gets blamed for blowing a 27-0 lead. I mean in the 28-3 Pats SB comeback that was 100% on the coaches outthinking themselves and making terrible play calls. I mention that because I wonder if that’s part of Herbert issue, he has terrible coaching?? I don’t see enough of their games to know and when they do face NE they look horrid.. (and I am talking Newton and Jones Pats not Brady)
  6. Speaking for myself I dislike Jackson because he has not been available the last 2 years for the playoffs.. Herbert stays healthy.
  7. I may be wrong, but I thought he was a potential 4th or 5th rounder if he came out this year.. I saw Mayer (my parents are huge ND Fans, I am more a BC fan and hate the fact Flowers is a Raven lol) they played top teams and he always looked good both blocking and catching the ball in coverage. I only saw Kincaid a few times so I don’t know him as well, IMO he wasn’t a complete TE as you stated but damn can that man get open and catch the ball. I like both of them l wont be shocked if both are hugely successful since they both have good/great QBs getting them the ball.
  8. First they are both capable of either being amazing or busts. Also what did I say that was “slobbering” about him I just stated facts! He was amazing with sub par QBs, Kincaid had a QB that will actually be drafted before the 7th round. I also disagree I think either Kincaid or Mayer been a great fit in Buffalo. I mean the potential for Kincaid is Kelce, and Mayer is Gronk.. Your GM just took who he thought was better.
  9. Lol that’s a misspelling of epic proportions on me! I meant Michael Mayer… kid was unbelievably good in ND a great catcher and blocker. He did amazing with mid level to meh QBs his entire College career.
  10. First I will say the Patriot way is dead for 2 reasons. 1. Brady was about 60% of the way and BB 40%. When Brady left, BB also well just didn’t want to work as much. (Who would in their 70’s). As for the practices, that’s why so many NFL Players said NE wasn’t “fun”. (Which I always hated, my job isn’t fun either and I still had to do it and damn I am not paid millions) IMO the Bills will break through eventually, it will just be a lot harder since the AFC has so many good teams with good to potentially great QBs. (You be in the SB every year in the NFC IMO)
  11. Probably the main reason why no team has beaten the offer of 7 million from Minnesota so far. A lot of teams just don’t want the drama, or can’t afford the distraction during camp.. and the ones who can really don’t need him.
  12. Bills passed on Meyers too.. lol I kid but I saw both play and Meyers would IMO make a more immediate impact than Kincaid.
  13. Lol Somehow you got your feelings hurt by me saying the Bills are a top 4 team. Oh and of course it’s my opinion because I am thinking the Bengals are going push the chips all in while they still have all those rookie contracts to try and win 1 SB before they will have to break the group up. The Bills have a damn good team, sadly the AFC has something like 6 teams that could contend for a championship. (Bills, Bengals,KC, Baltimore, Jets, Phins, ) with a few up and coming teams (Jags,Chargers, Browns). So this isn’t any easy gauntlet for any team.
  14. That is not WR1 type money. It is more on par with a 2 or 3 type money. As for Meyers I wish they had signed him over JuJu just because he and Jones had chemistry.
  15. I expect the Jets to falter and wouldn’t be shocked if the Dolphins falter as well as I expect Tua be injured early.
  16. Last year I am glad they missed the playoffs otherwise Patricia may still be here. That said that roster was horrid and was 1 win away from the playoffs and a winning record.. the first year without Brady was also a year they lost Edelman really early and then he retired before Jones started. So you were replacing not only Brady but your top WR. (And Cam Newton was just beyond bad as a QB.)
  17. Not really, but it shows IMO how good of a HC BB is. The roster in most coaches hands be a bottom 5 team and I could see them winning 10 games w O Brian focused on the O and BB on the D. Also I am a firm believer once you get into the dance anything can happen.. It would be like a 7 million cap hit next year if they cut him and it isn’t that big of a deal for them cap wise.
  18. Regress? Average would be a huge improvement over last year. Lol That said it all depends on Jones, he showed in Alabama he can excel with great players around him so he won’t hold them back IMO. I think, and I could be wrong, the Pats will be a playoff team this year not a SB contender but a playoff team again.
  19. I am a Pats fan and I agree obviously. My reasoning is 2 fold, the O was beyond bad, I say worst in the league bad just by the eye test, and the D had no true top corner (they may now) and we’re torn apart by good QBs and THAT team was 1 win away from the playoffs. (They don’t completely choke that Raider game away they play the Bills twice in a row.) So I believe (hope) with a real OC and 2 TE capable of catching the ball as well as serviceable WR the O could be middle of the pack. The D with the infusion of young talent and BB being able focus his attention there should be even better.
  20. I am guessing the guarantee is the signing bonus he got which would actually lower his cap hit this year. I could be wrong but that’s my guess.
  21. Ok he isn’t bottom 5, nor is he top 15. But he is IMO 16-20. Last year hurt everyone on the offense. Also don’t forget he has played with top end WR in college and at least 2 have said they preferred Mac over Tua.
  22. I don’t think he wants ANY of the teams that want him. The Pats may be the best option of the 4 because, per talking heads, he has a deep respect for BB. (And to the Jones comments on here, the man has played with a lot worse with the Texans.)
  23. Lol the Colts got lucky that year! “Bug Eyes” Caldwell drops a perfect pass to ice the game for NE and they went and faced the (snicker) Bears in the SB. I don’t think the Bills will need that kind of Horseshoe up there butt to win their first SB.
  24. This makes zero sense for the Pats to do. They have 3 young RB, 1 who is a proven while the other 2 showed flashes last year. Why spend 5 million on someone just keep them from seeing how good the kids are.
  25. You are ASSUMING this. I also doubt it because then it becomes Vague and any vagueness Benefits the party that doesn’t write the contract up. So there is zero chance that it is written into the contract. Mind you all sides realize it can renegotiate to change the terms. When it’s beneficial to the player it is easy and fast.. Also if it was as easy as people here think they would do it almost all the time.. it isn’t most contracts never change threw the life of the contract in the NFL.. Also how did a DHop thread turn into a thread about contracts??? Lol
