The Commanders have a good D this year or at least it looks like it after 2 games. Bills should be fine as long as Allen plays within himself and doesn’t turn the ball over.
-
Bills win the division, the Dolphins will be second and have the highest ranked O in the league. (But their D will be exposed), Pats will be 3rd as I think the Pats D is better than the Jets right now, but also think the Pats O is a LOT better even if they can’t run the ball. Jets end with a top 8 pick.

Fan dies in stands after fight at Patriots game

Fun banter back and forth is part of the experience.. I have a Canadiens fan that I did that with for years when I had Bruins season tickets at my disposal. We joke around about how crappy the others team was then always end up saying “ the loser buys dinner tonight!” As you can see we ended up as friends. Lol I never will understand getting so angry at something that’s suppose to entertain you and help you forget your own issues for awhile. -

Lol the Pats O Line is a mess right now. The Pats passing O been decent, the problem is they can’t run a lick behind that line. The line isn’t great for pass blocking either as Jones is the most pressured QB in the NFL right now, has the 2nd lowest time to throw, and is tied for the most drops right now, but still top 10 for TD, Yards, 1st downs, and PFF Grades. Now imagine the line is healthy and they could run the dang ball.. lol Oh and that rookie corner kept Hill at 40 yards for the game, sadly our starting CB on the other side (Jonathan Jones) went down injured) as did the backup (Marcus Jones) but they still kept Miami at 24 points for the game. So for once I actually think they should be able to handle Diggs and force someone else to win the game for Buffalo. (The Bills have the talent to do it it but will they?) Also I never said be afraid.. just that he has looked very good going against 2 top tier WR already. the point is no game is “East” heck the Jets game without Rogers should have been “easy” right? -

I saw it on Pats Pulpit. The dolphin fan was punched twice in the face then slumped over in his seat. (I don’t know how to share the article lol) so I would agree sounds like Manslaughter. -

It was reported he was punched in the face. They MAY Say that brought on the heart attack if it was a heart attack. Again no idea why you ever need get physical in a game. At 53 someone being a jerk to me I just go and grab security and have him kicked out.. I’m too old for that crap. -

The Jets bet you already, Cincy will right the ship sooner or later, NE had a top 5 D and what LOOKS like a stud CB1. Chargers still have a great O and are capable putting 1 game together. My point is there is no such thing as an easy game, but especially no division game is easy. -

I will say the same thing I said to the ones thinking the sky was falling after week 1. It is only 1 week. All silly talk of who should stay or be fired should at least wait till the half way point lol -

I feel for any kid who had to see this happen. Also the man who threw the punch will have to live with this for the rest of his life. I never understood getting that upset at a GAME. I still have to go to work the next day if they win by a 100 or lose by 100. So no need get mad and start fighting. I mean I’ve been to the meadowlands, I have seen the Pats play in Buffalo (years ago before Bledsoe lol) and most were fine. Heck Bills fans told me my team won’t always suck lol. -
Elam a healthy scratch part deux (now part TRES) (now part QUATRO)
PatsFanNH replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh I wasn’t talking about him as much as teams don’t usually offer much in trade if they think he is going be cut . And the way they were talking that’s what It sounded like. -
THIS is like analytics in baseball. Breaking something down to the smallest fragment is annoying. It takes the human element out of it. That’s just me. Also the line drawn is wrong, it’s the stick to the left that is the first down marker and that’s on his arm and to close to call. But the Pats probably don’t win anyways because the Pats O is just inconsistent and that’s on the O line right now. (Also want to know why anyone is running a 3 1/2 yard route on a 4th and 4) That said the O needs to stop with the early mistakes. That’s what’s killing this team right now. Unforced mistakes
-
I agree Miami is going to be tough this year if Tua stays healthy. That said they only scored 7 points the entire second half and the game was right there for the Pats O! Sadly that O line is beyond horrid right now. I mean less than 3 yards a carry on a team that gave up over 200 yards last week! Ugh
-
Who knows! But making (what I thought) was such an obvious mistake in saying he was short was dumb. Let the game continue.. But again dumb mistakes wary killed them! That Douglas fumble was a minimum 10 point swing. They clean up the dumb mistakes they probably win against 2 playoff caliber teams.. but woulda shoulda coulda.. but didn’t..
-
That is the understatement of the year. No true LT, both guards playing hurt, and the starting RT is out with a concussion. Although that last throw from Jones was pretty good looks like the TE gave up on it..
-
Offense wasn’t stagnant last week it moved the ball well. A few drops and a couple of badly timed 1 foot in one foot out from a rookie killed them. They easily could have put up 30 on the eagles.. and that’s with half the O line out that game.
-
Besides Allen has had a tone of time all game. The O line done their job today so far
-
Allen can make himself a sandwich he has so much time!

PatsFanNH replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s probably true, but I’d say a coach like BB got Elam to go with Gonzalez both who excel at man.. the team would then switch to more of a man defense. A good coach plays to his players strengths.. -
IMO it’s hard to tell considering how poor the QB was behind center for the Jets.(after snap 4 that is) I mean wouldn’t everyone be selling out on the run and daring Wilson to beat them?

The Bills won’t get much back for him. Maybe a 5th or 6th round pick.. most teams wait for the Bills to cut him next year and then take a flier on him. -
Ok, doing this in a fair way, I would take Lawrence. Now let me explain if they are both rookies and being drafted in the same year, Lawrence was NFL ready and considered a generational talent at QB while Allen was considered a project. I don’t think any GM takes a rookie Allen over a rookie Lawrence. Before you say “Allen of now to a Lawrence of now” that just isn’t fair! Lawrence is just entering year 3 and Allen is in Year 7? So the only fair comparison would be both coming out as rookies. As rookies it’s a no brainer and that’s not a knock on Allen.
-
It’s actually very normal! You should have seen Patriots sites after Brady stunk against KC or when he played poorly against Baltimore. Fans were calling for his head. Fans are FANATICS.. they over react.. always have always will. As for the talking heads, being negative gets them more ratings brings more money for them. For an example a certain Talking head who for like 10 years said Brady was done and no good anymore..
-
Umm he has to expect the reaction when the team beats you with their backup QB coming in after 4 snaps from their starter.. especially when the backup is Zak Wilson. C
