Reassessing the Over-Reactions to the Divisional Round
PatsFanNH replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
1. Bills are top 3 but are #3 till they beat Chiefs or Cincy in the playoffs. (Or of course make the SB period) 2. Eagles got lucky yesterday that Purdy got hurt on the first series of the game. They also got a TON of help from the refs, a lot of boarderline or downright bad calls against SF. I mean their O didn’t look scary seeing as how they got 1 TD on a 4th down completion that was actually incomplete. Their second TD was on a bad hands to the face call on 3rd down (when holding was obvious before the hand) and a 3rd TD thanks to SF 4th string QB dropping the ball.. even with those 3 goofs it was 21-7 and the. They had go back to Purdy who couldn’t throw the ball and the game was lost.. it was a joke. -
Given the 3 year rule. Analyzing the Bills 2020 draft..
PatsFanNH replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Question who would you rather have Diggs or Jefferson? The WR picked with the Bills draft pick. IMO I’d want Jefferson as you would have had 3 cheap years with him to use on other positions. Mind you Diggs is a great WR just pointing out they had a cheaper way of getting an elite WR. -
Im convinced its coaching (Chiefs showing how to handle Bengals)

Ugh! The Tuck rule is not a penalty(face palm) and a judgement call but a rule that on replay had be called. He pushed him and the n real time it was a close play and it added insult to injury.. again IMO it shouldn’t have been thrown, it was a push not a tackle.. -
I disagree, Allen would have died behind that line in the regular season. But I hate how people think switching QBs be different results. Allen is elite with different traits, his elite trait is not a quick release but buying time and IMO behind that line get him killed.

You do know they won because of a personal foul with like 25 seconds left in the 4th. IMO they never should have thrown the flag as they decided the game with it. So your headline is wrong, the Chiefs escaped, at home, against the Bengals. They didn’t show anything on how to handle them! -
Are you saying the Bills looked good the last 4 weeks of the regular season? I’m asking because what I saw was a very good team that would need help to get to the SB.. I mean the Pats game and the Dolphins and Bengals playoff games the flaws showed up a lot IMO. The biggest was the Oline.
-
The 5 games Insaw this year it was obvious the OLine was going to get Allen Killed. Yes Allen scrambles well but I am sure he wouldn’t mind being able to go back and just pass the ball without being hit or harassed almost every time.

Actually Brady was without most of his weapons all year and the O line had issues. Jones you’re right he doesn’t have great WR but with competent coaching last year they are a playoff team. If they give him a real Receiver threat like say Maybe Meyer at TE.. who knows.. like I said this year is his make or break year. im not high on Rogers like everyone else he always does great in the regular season then the team falls apart in the first round of the playoffs.. im partial but of all three teams the Pats have the best chance of improving and being a threat LONG term.. or brings total dumpster fire

Brady was on a very bad team. I think at best he has 1 year left. Rogers — is a Diva and I have yet to see him elevate a team. Jones — we don’t know what he is. He had a good rookie year and a sophomore year from hell with terrible terrible O and QB coaching. This year with BOB we will definitely know what he is. I still think the Bills are the class of the division, but they need to change it up some to get to what truly matters.

Final Pro Football Focus Oline Season Grades
PatsFanNH replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would love see the stats for the time they gave Allen to throw. Was it average of 4 seconds or 2 seconds etc. A lot of OLine look bad because some (not saying Allen) QBs take forever to throw the ball, while others look good, like TB, because the QB throws it in 2 seconds or less. -
Which one was worse ? 13 seconds or Cinci fail ?
PatsFanNH replied to Repulsif's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would think it would be 13 seconds since you felt you had the game won. That’s like for a Pats fan the loss in the SB to go 18-1 hurts the most followed by losing to the Eagles because BB refused to play Butler because he had a damn argument with Patricia. Trust me the Bills will have those type losses in the SB if your team keeps improving. I think this year your team was done after the injury. -
What would you think of Brian Flores as your DC?
-
As I said before right now Cincy, KC, and Buffalo are the class of the AFC. You are right there is no huge gap between the Bills and KC. I am not sure about Cincy, you have only played one game against them and that’s not enough of a sample to know one way or the other. The Bills and about half the league needs OLine help, so won’t be easy to fix and as people in here like to point out the Draft is a crap shoot.
-
Fan bases are kind of dumb. That said unlike last year where it was clearly a defensive collapse that caused the loss, what do you go out and fix when the entire team plays awful? Yes maybe Von Miller fixes the pass rush, Maybe you can fix the O line? But no flashy move will fix the issue of the fact the Bills have to go threw Cincy and KC to make the SB.

I don’t think that will bother Jones. He did come Alabama and Nick Saban.. not actually a low key coach lol. Also he helped coach BOB up on Alabama in the spring before he was drafted. BOB never coached him. My point with Brady is most established QBs would have lost patience a lot quicker.

Jones gets a lot of heat for having an “attitude” last year. Weird he was fine his rookie year and half way threw his second year. His attitude showed up when Patricia and company in week like 11 still failed to get the plays in quickly and cost them time and time outs because of it. Now I don’t know about Allen, but Brady would have thrown Patricia by game 5 with that issue.
