Mahomes — the #1 QB to many in the NFL, until last year the only person ever to beat him in the playoffs was Tom Brady. Allen — Great QB and most have him as either 2 or 3 for QBs. The team and Allen seem to get a little bit better each year but has a tough bill climb as he deals with #1 QB in Mahomes. Burrows — Top 5 perhaps 3 or 2 depending on the “expert”. Seems to have that Clutch Jean come threw when needed.. made the SB in his 2nd year.. if you think about it this could be the new trio in the AFC. We had Brady, Peyton, Big Ben with the Ravens popping up every so often lol. Maybe now we have Mahomes, Allen, Burrows who will be more successful? Only time will tell.

Lmao he is, that doesn’t mean you see the field well if your more worried about your protection or unsure where the play calls for the ball to go..
-
I hear that up here too, and most state that’s on coaching and film study. That was Jones strength at Alabama but this year he regressed.. the hole O did. Besides where they will be drafting they won’t have a good shot get a great QB unless something weird happens.. I mean if Young slides to whatever number the Pats are drafting you take him but I doubt any good ones slide like that.
-
I never complained about McDaniels last year.. I do believe his resume was made because he had Brady as QB.. but I think he would agree.. I also don’t think we are so far apart about Jones, you THINK his rookie year was probably his ceiling, you could be right, and if we had competent OC we would definitely know 1 way or the other by now. What I want is O’Brian as an OC and he comes in implements an Alabama style O and if Jones isn’t better or gets worse we know you were right!
-
I agree about his dirty plays. I don’t understand the one to Apple at all, I can believe he thought the ball was loose the week before and was going for it.. I also don’t think he is top 10 but top 15 if given good coaching and I don’t know an elite WR like a Jefferson, Diggs, or hey Kelce.. weird how ALL the elite WBs now have at least 1 elite WR.. I think Jones is better than Tua potentially… and look what Tua did with Waddle and Hill.. and Tua is no elite talent..
-
Umm Jones was decent for a rookie last year. He wasn’t lights out but he was ok.. Do you disagree that Patricia and Judge are not competent OC and have regressed the O even more? We could have Brady back there and the O still look horrid. I’m not saying Jones is the answer but he is far from the biggest problem.
-
Again an unfair comparison. Trubisky had a real and decent OC for 2 years and stunk. Mac had 1 his rookie year looked good, didn’t have one this year looks below average at best.. I am not saying he is good or bad just that we don’t know until he has 2 years with competent coaching.
-
I think he meant emotionally out of gas. bills 24 Pats 14 Bills cost to a victory and the game is never in question..
-
Ummm ya everyone knows Jones took a step back this year, in a vacuum you would say what YOU are saying. The problem is it isn’t in a vacuum and the problem is they are running an offense that the D for the first 12 weeks in the year were calling out the exact play they were running. How? Our OC are awful and never been OC before.. add in terrible o line play and well you get the mess which is this Offense. Now give the O an actual OC and it still looks horrid, then you look at the players.. (I mean we have an OC who refuses to use Bourne on a regular bases.)
-
Lmao you’re happy grammar police.. lol Most rational fans know one thing about Hones. That is we don’t. Know anything because any potential growth was stunted by incompetent OC coaching. (The owner agrees) now next year (fingers crossed) when we get a competent OC we will know one way or the other on Jones. Anyone saying he is great or sucks is just giving what they are hoping for.. (FYI he had a GOOD year for a rookie last year he took an obvious step back this year.)
-
Actually this tracks with your inability realize 2 top notch WR should have been schemed open a LOT! This just shows your use to crappy coaching (in the past) who couldn’t adapt.
-
Last week we were missing both CB as well as our Swiss Army knife Marcus Jones.. I still can’t figure out how Hill And Waddle didn’t destroy that secondary.
-
That was last year, and years don’t translate. That said I am definitely expecting a spanking by the Bills this game.
-
With the high emotion level and with the team super focused I expect a thorough beat down by the Bills. I am also dreading when/if someone gets hurt in the game.. I think both teams will hold their breaths until that person gets up or gives a thumbs up.. (and that’s no matter which team it is on! I think both teams are praying and hoping this is the rare game where no one needs help getting off the field.)
-
Playing DEVILS ADVOCATE. That still sticks it to the Bengals because if they had beaten you on Monday night and KC loses on Saturday they would be the #1 seed. Like you said no good way to do it. IMO they should have just stuck with the rule already on the books instead of letting their emotions get involved..
-
They haven’t played a full game in 2 weeks.. they didn’t even play a quarter on Monday. I also bet practice was spotty UNTIL they receiver the good news. Mind you I still expect them blow the doors off my Pats. I don’t see the Pats even if the Bills play a half.. our O down right stinks and our D is banged up in the secondary..
-
I only see your starters playing a half of KC wins… play get the rust off and back into the swing of things then the backups go in..
-
Bills win 24-14 and it’s not that close.. Bills starters play a half and get a 24-0 lead.. the backups hold on to win 24-14… (assuming KC wins Saturday)
-
Huh? This had nothing to do with the Pats? Your comment Was illogical since I just stated it didn’t look like he was even touched and Refs probably thought he was acting to get the call.. doesn’t mean he was it’s what the refs probably thought.. no clue how that a blind pats homer?? Sound like your suffering Post Brady Syndrome, a common illness in the AFC East. Lmao It’s not a take it’s common sense. I don’t get the OP take of dirty hits.. one is a legal hit, the second his video he shares shows zero contact.. yes Allen went into the tent and probably got his foot taped up from having his foot rolled over by a 300 pound man.. why did he roll over he was trying get to Allen… which is his job.. rolls over his feet and kept his legs up.. if he wanted aka intent.. he would have done a lot more than roll over his foot…
-
I knew someone read it that way. I was saying the refs didnt buy it because they thought he was acting to get the flag. I was not meaning he didn’t get hurt.
-
If I’m a ref I’d just think Allen was trying to sell he was touched.. yes Allen does it so does every other top tier QB because it works and gets the flag a lot of times.. They just didn’t buy it this time. Also if he was wanting to hurt Allen he “accidentally” leg whips him.. not roll over his foot.
-
I said looking at THAT video it doesn’t even look like he touched him. Also rolling onto a FOOT isn’t going get a flag, a fine and definitely not a suspension! Now had he leg whipped Allen the flags would have flown as well as fines..
-
It looks like he was trying to be dirty but failed miserably! Did Hendrickson even touch Allen? There wasn’t a flag because he never touched him, you can’t flag someone for trying to hit someone but doesn’t. Lol
-
It looks like he tried to roll and hit Allen but he completely missed. (Or at least it looks like it from that video) The other one was started out as a clean block and he didn’t go onto his back till they were both falling to the ground… I don’t know how he stops since they were both falling at the time.
