My son is now 15 he has been playing football since he was 10. First he chose football and wanted to play and I allowed it because that is what he wanted. He absolutely loves football and I wouldn’t dream of taking it away from him. Next year he goes to HS and he will go back to Pop Warner to help coach. I think all you can do is support your children and in violent sports like football or hockey get them the best equipment you can to help protect them. Life is to short not to allow them to enjoy something they love.. (my son outside of schoolwork watches game film a lot has since he was 8.. he truly loves the game.)

Worse, has Matt Patricia as OC.. 🤮 like I said the Bills could beat my Pats on their worse day.. My one concern is the potential someone getting badly hurt because their head wasn’t in the game. I am guessing Football just like hockey, and if you’re not 100% focused you could get seriously hurt.. and I don’t want see that again for any team! Especially not your Bills having it happen 2 weeks in a row.. hopefully the coaches on the Bills can see the players who shouldn’t play and sit them..

They could cancel Cincy, their is to much riding on the Pats game for to many teams make the playoffs not to have a decision 1 way or the other. Mind you the Bills could have their worst game of the year and still spank my Pats.. lol No! But is it fair to the Pays to lose out on the playoffs because the Bills can’t play. No matter what they decide someone gonna be unhappy. This is unprecedented and I don’t see a perfect solution for anyone.

Umm the only INT of note was M Jones at the Pats 42 returned for a TD. McCourty almost picked a deep ball in the third but dropped it. The other turnover was on Cincy 44 and was a fumble. No one was talking about the 1st half where Cincy walked over them to a 22-0 lead. I stand corrected on the FG but even that, if the Pats don’t fumble or miss the extra point they had a chance to win. as for the Washington play.. the ball is in his hands he should catch it. (In real time it looked like it was in his chest lol) Sorry the second half the Bengals were obviously looking ahead to the Bills game.. they were on the most part flat.

The interception was a long long pass and they were not in the red zone at the time of the pick. TD Called back because the only reason Burrows was able to get rid of the ball was the huge hold on Judon.. also was a long pass as well. The FG was a 55 yarder hardly a chip shot. So unlike the first half they didn’t move the ball with lightning efficiency. lol watch the play again the ball was right in Washington chest he should have caught it, they were lucky he tipped it to Meyers but it wasn’t a Hail Mary pass like you said.

Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

Not to the NFL. It’s all about the money! And it matters to all those teams as well.. -

The Pats game means a lot for the final playoff spot. Pats win they are in. (Lol as unlikely as that is) Pats lose and Miami wins they are in, both lose and Pitt wins they are in.. so yes the outcome does matter for a team to make the playoffs.. FYI I DONT want my Pats in I want them out of the playoffs they are not good enough. -

I’ve said repeatedly they should schedule for after the Pats game. I gave the other scenario as an option, never said it was likely or right.. just an option. The one for it happening after thePats game seems the most logical, move everything back a week for playoffs and the winner be the #1 seed if everyone wins this weekend. -

I disagree with the disrespect. I believe if Hamlin was fine and it happened to another player he, like his teammates, would have a hard time playing on without knowing the players status one way or the other. So if the options were (and they are not) play Wednesday or forfeit m, you take the L. Because caring about your brother is a hell of a lot more important than playoff seeding. -

Forfeiting the Pats game would have Miami and Pitt up in arms as it eliminates them from the playoffs. The truth is there is NO good solution for this unprecedented situation. (For lack of a better word) -

Ahh thank you! I was wrong in my assumption you were meaning McCourty. (I am glad I asked) -

Lmao I actually said just now playing it after the Pats game and if by some miracle the Pats won they would Cancel it since it didn’t mean much to the Bills. Also who is McCorkle? -

I said that was more LIKELY than them not playing the game. What is amazing is everyone forgets, whoever would have won last night had home field advantage going into week 18. What every Bills fan in here is saying that the Bengals should be the team most impacted by this and that’s “fair”. I could see it be in g scheduled after the Pats/Bills game on Sunday, and if by some weird twist of fate Buffalo loses and Cincy wins and nothing matters for their game then it being cancelled. The sad fact is while Bengals players and coaches may not care that much the owner does. That’s 1 potential extra home game and a lot of money. -

I said that was more likely than them skipping the game. Also I am not talking about the players but rather the owners, they BOTH want that potential for the extra home game to make more money. Heck I don’t know if the Bills will be mentally ready go on Sunday depending on the news coming out of the hospital. -

Bills will either have to play the Bengals game or take it as an L. There is no way the Bengals are losing their chance at the #1 seed overall. I doubt the league will just move on as well to tie breaker scenarios. -
That’s very true. That could change against top tier QBs like Burrows and Mahomes now that you’re on your third string Safety and supposedly Tre White is still not up to his normal great level of play. Also there is a big difference between facing the Bears, Lions, Pats and then facing the defending AFC haps Bengals or even Chiefs. (Although the Chiefs look rather beatable this year)

Never going to happen! They IMO will either reschedule it for this week or give the win to Cincy since they had the lead when the game was called. I am betting the reschedule it for Wednesday and perhaps move NE/Buffalo to Tuesday next week. -

Option D They make 7-3 the final score, and give Buffalo the L. Making week 18 a little less meaningful for the Bills and them resting starters if Chiefs win Saturday. (Not saying this is right or what’s going to happen just that it’s an option.) -
I know our teams are rivals just wanted come here and say I hope he ends up making a full recovery. I am also glad to see the Bengals and Bills both agreed to postpone the rest of the game. IMO someone else could have gotten hurt on either side because they were no longer focused on the game, and rightfully so! Again I pray for a quick and full recovery…

2022 NFL Week 17 (January 1, 2023) GDT Dolphins @ New England
PatsFanNH replied to muppy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t care how good your scheme is,if you have your Nickel corner as your #1 corner and Practice squad or a safety as your 2nd and nickel corner.. your 2 superstar WR should be open! My Pats should have secured a playoff spot if they hadn’t choked roughly 1/4 of this years games away. (4 games).
