  1. To be fair, Giants roster is probably 30% filled with recent CFL signees.
  2. I feel like Ive watched more refs than football the last two weeks.
  3. What an ass. Gonna f around and blow this game. Getting annoyed with McD not having these guys locked in and playing disciplined.
  4. Some guys just don't have it between the ears.
  5. Gonna be a tough night for my miniature horse if we blow this game.
  6. I was like, "Yeah, Gabe, you finally made someone miss, oh no, oh no, Gabe."
  7. Why? Diggs dropped an easy first down and Davis has a huge play if he's not tackled on his route.
  8. Jesus. Seattle has dominated that game and only 13 points.
  9. Great drive for Cleveland there. 🤣
  10. Great news! Now I just have to decide which one to bring.
  11. We would basically have to hand them the game the way we did with the Jets. Even still, the Jets are like 1.5 standard deviations better than the Giants. We could probably give the Gints the ball on our 40 yard line 10 times and they'd come away with 9 points.
  12. Just stack wins. I don't care how ugly they are.
  13. I'm really enjoying watching Sean Payton's demise. He really should have kept his mouth shut until he won a few games.
  14. TJ did not have surgery for his pec injury. Just regular rest and rehab.
  15. Didn't realize he was SOOOOO OLD, but he was a solid contributor just two years ago for SF when they narrowly lost the NFC championship. I think this is the end of Elam.
  16. I'm honestly more inclined to trade Von; not that anyone would take him.
  17. It was TJ Watt and he didn't tear the tendon, just the muscle, and didn't require surgery, just rest and rehab. Jones' injury appears to be more serious given that it's been announced he'll undergo surgery. You're looking at a likely 5-6 month recovery for Jones before he's back to 100%.
  18. Sounds like a full rupture for Jones if it requires surgery. 6 month recovery. Bummer.
  19. In the very best case scenario, that would be the very first week or so of full physical activity after a tibial fracture. I can't really see a scenario where he plays before next season.
  20. Of course, we are still contenders, but with the defense about to take a step back, we really need to find a way to be consistently very good on offense from week to week. We can't afford to sleep walk through 2-3 quarters and expect to walk out with victories. We need to come out quick, put some points on the board and let our defense play with a lead and do what they do best. By the way, Epenesa, what a revelation yesterday. Has the light truly finally gone on for him? If so, he's a legit difference maker going forward.
  21. I saw him in on a lot of plays early. While not great, I thought he was generally reading and filling well enough. Then he sort of disappeared. Next thing I knew, I was seeing a lot of Dodson in the fourth quarter turning his head as Etienne ran by him. I'd much rather watch Williams take some lumps out there than seeing Dodson do mostly nothing. But I'm not the coach.
  22. I watched it at my parents' house. Going back to the 13 second game, we are something like 2-4 when I watch a game with them at their place.
  23. Numbers are numbers, but there's two big things working against Dorsey from a fan appreciation perspective: 1. Aesthetics - You watch teams like Miami, San Francisco, KC and Philly and you just salivate over all of the interesting motions and pre-snap looks they give, how often they scheme guys wide open and how many of their weapons they are able to get involved and consistently utilize. It just looks so easy for them. I get it. They've got a lot of talent, but I'd argue that we do as well. We know what guys like Knox and Cook can look like (Harty is trending there too) when they are put in good positions to make plays. Far too often, things look "hard" for the Bills' offense. Maybe it's just Josh holding it too long, but the play design doesn't inspire confidence in Dorsey. 2. We have a HOF truly unicornesque QB in his a prime paired with a HOF borderline GOAT route-running WR in his prime. This offense should be top-5 by default based on those two pieces (paired with a competent o-line, of course) alone. You see what a guy like Daboll did with them versus what he's working with now. He went from league darling to what looks like a bottom-3 offensive mind in 18 months. It's hard to shake the feeling that we couldn't replace Dorsey with pretty much any NFL offensive coordinator and get similar or better results.
  24. I wouldn't say we were getting "screwed" particularly, but they did seem overly officious. My Dad and I were discussing how in the NFL, you could technically throw a flag on every single play. The good refs set parameters early in a game that you're gonna get flagged for clearly egregious and impactful infractions. These guys just seemed to call anything and everything they came across that could be interpreted as an infraction.
